I've seen a few people ask the same question in the last 2 days."Why they cannot add pheromones once they've started a breeding animal?"
I believe after a breeding has begun in the "new" breeding house, permanently on our fields,....pheromones cannot be added. You have to wait until the breeding animal time is up.

This is different than when we had breeding motels that we put out on our fields. You could add pheromones to them after the set of breeding animals.
This is a new aspect/change of the breeding house. Your only 2 options are:
    1. Wait until breeding is completed of that house.....or
    2. Do the instant finish with bb's

I have made this same mistake a few times.:p You need to set how many pheromones you want to use as soon as you select what animal. Then it will continue to pre-select that number of pheromones for all the other animals you breed until you exit the breeding house.
    I hope this helps.
If anyone has anything else to add...please feel free.:music:

While I haven't done it recently, I have added pheromones to breedings after they started. It is a royal pain to do but the function is there. It isn't done in the same place as adding them before you set the breeding. Since I haven't done it recently, I can't say that the function isn't having a problem now. I do not plan to test it.

As you can see here, you go to Overview, highlight the breeding you wish to add pheromones and then click on the Add Pheromones button in the lower right corner. You must select each one individually.

I can confirm that the function is working correctly on my farm, but it is way too much clicking for me if I have forgotten to use pheromones. With the ability to preload the breeding shed and it not being harvested as part of normal farm chores, I am using less pheromones than I used to.
