Just a fraction of second or 2 fractions of a second... I don't think more time will be needed for him to hand over all the CCs to me. You think otherwise ?.....only about the time.

 

This was a hard event for me. I can't feed chameleons and don't have toucans open. I used all my money to buy bees and chameleons to do the event and did get the basic pens. I can't use the skateboard pen yet because I have no tortoise pens and can't use the tiki shop until I open toucans. I will keep trying to improve my farm and those shops will be waiting for me someday. I already have out the crab which is perfect for the island. I don't have enough money to continue for the upgrades but I think I did ok for my level.

 

@ChristmasTreeFarm: there is a gift&Trade event coming up, so eventually you can trade something to get the toucans/Tortoises??

I think my market is 11. Golden leaves are priced higher than the amount suggested to find a market. I used pears at 170.11 but not really sure if that is right.

Thanks and . Buying and selling is really healthy for a market. Farms have a reliable outlet for their goods. Sure players get what they want when they want it if reasonable. The downfall for other players is that the day sometimes comes when they cannot sell in an area. In order to continue, the farm MUST sell at some point.

The farm stays clear of breeding animals when on a nice spending spree like that. the most spent at one time was about one-half billion in about 3 weeks. It just depends on whether listings are made in areas I see what will happen in a reasonable length of time. Usually the farm is constantly buying and selling and is heavier on buying than listing. One cannot buy everything in a day and certainly cannot sell it all in one day.

Presently the farm has over 1,500,000,000 (1.5) billion CCs to look at after going on a 50 million spending outing. Any farmer here can do the same if they choose. I am only preparing a path for someone else.

I think I would like to work on the fsq: gaga for greens. No need to buy the stuff. I hope to finish it before the new year but maybe not as I really want to play a farm that only farms BAHA and has remained in Mentor Brookeham's nest for nearly a year.

I really did answer your questions quite honestly. Just reviewed GAGA FOR GREENS and now I know why I have not worked it. The harvester is the final rewards. This is a free play farm with no luxuries. Must save that harvester until the day I need it for an event.

This is not a TOP 10 farm being 4 levels below the lowest cc holder on the list and with half the ep. Too far away but I am sure a farm in this forum can do it if they choose.

I need your advice. First I should thank you all. You created marketing awareness in me. I find that useful and interesting.Yesterday I started with around 400 thousand CCs and now I have 43.6 millions. All due to your encouragements and strategies. Now the big problem is - should I invest them to make more CCs, shall I invest in cats ? or other animals like mammals, fish & amphibians which are now around 1500 CCs or below them. How much of this money shall I keep ? Other than animals what shall I invest?

Such a lot of questions, I know. So take your time to answer, If answering doesn't bother you. Answering is not must. I am not interested in doing FSQ except for powerfeeds & farm machinery.

My Tactic is Differ to Broke Whereas I have Completed Many Permanent Quests and Events too, In the Process i have managed to Save up Many Harvester Coupons of 1 Hour, 3 hours, 12 Hours, 24 hours and 48 Hours. Which i can use to help to complete Events or Quests. As I hardly spend any Real Money on Harvester atm. Since i have so many Harvester Vouchers..

The Benefits of Earning Party Spins can gain you Harvester Vouchers if you are lucky. I have Accumulated a total of 9700 Stars. As i have about 4737 Stars to Spend. Currently using them on Breeding Animals and Breeding Packs helps me make CC and Breed to make CC..
Obtaining Party Spins really does help lots as you can win many lovely rewards only when you are lucky I urge those to work on parts of Quests getting Party Spins.

I always do Events and Quests to obtain Power Feeds as I do make lots of CC From Breeding Events using Power Feeds. But it is always good to hoard Animals for Breeding Events especially Breeding Animals.
But it is Good Advise to Hoard Animals from the Markets since Animals Feeds is now surging in Prices as Frog Feed is nearing 9000 cc. It Crazy to put Frog Pens out to Gain Frogs. Since buy the Frogs from the Markets. It is said that Cat Breeding is due some time soon so Stocking up on Cats is another tip, also Cat Feed is climbing in price too but Cat Feed is due to be revamped any time too too.

I do a Chuck of my Investments on Breeding Animals since Prices have gone Crazy. Even Crops and Product Prices have risen too.

I have been Stocking up on Fish. But Frogs are Pricey to buy now....12ss12. I Hope this insight helps but need to be more committed to the Markets though not as Crazy as Broke lol

Mooboy already suggested investing in animals and I agree. Besides that there is tree fruit - if you can find any below EV. The drills are coming now and farmers must do the quests to upgrade the boxes. Look at those quests! Huge amounts of tree fruit/crops and animals/breeding animals are required. I suppose many will choose to deliver breeding animals for that part (and BP will love selling them pf) but to breed one need the animals!
I believe prices on animals and tree fruit have only one way to go and it ain't down. And more neon animals will come.
There are also parrot feathers - last year at HH I made good ccs selling them but we don't know for sure if there will be a HH....

How much you want to spend is up to you. I am not afraid to spend everything on something I believe will pay off some other day. Until that day I'll just have to starve a little and play carrots like lettuce That's the way I have built my farm.

I know we all are very excited about the new workshops but have this is mind:
Both workshops require 3 animals + 1 feed.

I haven't placed the skateboard factory. I don't think the skateboard's price will be over 40.000 CC, which is what I get if I sell 3 turtles + 1 feed in my market.
I'll just buy some when I see the price is reasonable (just in case).

Invest in fish and frogs: animals, feed and their first 2 breeding colored animals.
Cats too, but the thing is that we do not know whether the breeding event will be at the beginning of the month or at the end, nor if cat pens will be available for CC.
I remember frogs went up to 12.000 CC during their breeding event, and they are still pricy.

Also, I have invested what I earned in this event in rebuying bees and chameleons colored animals. Their prices are too low that I couldn't refrain myself and spent 50 million on them. Neon pens for these animals are still to come. There are no rumors about this yet, so you know it will take me a while to get back this investment.

I think I will go for fish. No frogs as of now. They are way too high. But I will keep an eye on it. I think I will try to get as much feeds of some animals (only when the price is soooo low that however low I sell them, I might make profit). I will also keep an eye on fruits for any special offer.

This was the first time I indulged in feed marketing. It was good. I sold anaconda & toucan feeds and made huge profits from them and I have a reasonable amount of them still in my barn.

I can never become crazy like broke, Mooboy. Only broke can be like broke. He plays a farm for closing it up. However much I love to have a lot of CCs, I like a good stocked barn much better. I will be careful and keep your warning in my mind. I slowly accumulated bees in hope of neons when they were around 1000 - 2000 CCs. So is the case with chameleons.

We will soon have breeding for mammals, fish and amphibians. Will neon pens for next 3 animals be released in the event ? Just my guess.

 

This has to be a record!!!! Has anyone else been a chick or a mentor to a farm for a whole year????

Back on topic.....I will follow esca's advice and try to up my production of frogs & fish. I'm sure everyone noticed the little animal icons next to the animals in the breeding hut. This type of event will be repeated.
I hope the breeding of cats comes soon....as I'm brimming with excitement....and the waiting is becoming unbearable!
