Mystery Farmers 2016 Edition

I also have only used/heard the term 'muck out' when talking about stables/stalls but sometimes I wonder if my kids don't need to muck out their rooms! They swear they know where everything is but I'm not so sure that isn't teenager laziness.

 

My Grandparents and now all my uncle's are farmers and we never say mucking out the stalls. It is always cleaning out the stalls. Plus, I never hear any one saying mucking here. I only here the term on the BBC or on the forums.

Aha! So it does work! I guess we'd better be careful about throwing that name around then. Thanks for adding some extra fun and confuzzlement to our game Grumpy.
Thanks to all the Mystery Farmers! Brooke is the best, as always! And Meba and one-two did a phenomenal job keeping their identities a secret throughout the game. Meba was the very last to be matched to her answers, and she'd never even heard of the game until very recently. Great job all!

hi. Some of you know I was in an accident last week. I'm feeling much, much better now, but when we started this game I really wasn't feeling very well.. but I was determined to get it finished in time for g&t! As it turns out, it was a good idea to go ahead with that plan, because the game, and you all, provided a much needed distraction when I needed it. --Hey, that may explain any discrepancies in my tallies earlier...Yeah, that's it, we'll blame the medicines

Now about those prizes, our Mystery Farmers were playing just for fun, and even though some of them guessed correctly first, they wish to pass their prizes on to the next correct player. If anyone else wishes to pass their prize to a different farm, just send an igm to let me know.

And, The Pink Chicken Award. There was just no way I could choose between all the funny posts here. One-two kept me laughing this entire game, as did Meba and Jools and sglick and .... so much funny. I finally decided the only way that pretty pink chicken was going to find its new home was by looking to see whose post had the most likes at the time of this writing. That happens to be -Mir85- in post #46, for guessing herself as the Mystery Farmer that sounded suspiciously just like her. I know she prefers reds, but I hope she can find a place of honor for it somewhere in her barn.
And finally, the overall winner is BlackCaviar for correctly matching all the farmers with their answer sets.
(I've heard that tigers may not be tradeable this time, but the prize donor has some other great prizes to choose from if that happens to be the case.)

If I've missed anyone, or made a mistake, just let me know and I'll add them to the winners' list. Plenty of prizes to go around, so no worries.

Finally....a Huge, Huge, Huge Thanks to poppy for creating and running this Mystery Farmer Game!!!! It was a blast, even for me....because I didn't know who the other mystery farmers were. What a trooper...even with an accident(I didn't know....and hope you are feeling much better) you continued on....so it could be completed by G & T. You are an angel and so sweet to bring one of our favorite pass times back to the forum!!!!

Even though I did not take part, I so enjoyed reading all the posts!

 

Thanks everyone! I'm well on my way to recovering. Luckily my injuries will heal will time and rest. But, it's so hard to be still for very long. This game really was a nice distraction for me. Thanks again to everyone who participated.
I have sent Mir's super silly chicken all the way to Norway, and BC's farm has a handsome new tiger in residence as well. The crafting prizes should find their way out today.

Now, who's going to host the next competition? We haven't played clue in ages. Hmm, I have the perfect hostess in mind...

Thank you for a fun game. This is my first, but hopefully not last, experience with it!

 

I too enjoyed reading all the posts. It is beyond my strength to post all that I felt, all that amused me & what I felt about all that thinking that was done. To be frank, I do not know how one could hold there head clear & find out the true players after reading all the posts. I was dizzled.

But in this process I found out who the true Mr_Grumpy is & now I completely forgot who she is. So I am going to go through all the post and try to find out who she is.

I passed the compliment to my wonderful brain & it asked me to convey its thanks to you. So on behalf of my brain I thank you for your great compliment.

 

How many more times, it Mr Grumpy not Mrs Grumpy!!
