I have to say that I love when we place a color upgrade to a regular pen it keeps the feed we have already used to the regular animal.:)
In the past I have lost so much feed because of this:oops:xD I don't know if it changed recently or not but I like it!

After over 4 years of playing this game and spending loads of real money >:(I have made an executive decision that I am fed up with complaining because the Devs are NOT listening and am going to quit. I do like this game but hey another wonder stable where we have to spend BBs (which by the way are hard to come by these days) to get stables I've already got??? Baby Boom day in which I have had maybe 2 good skips in 4 years, events with ridiculous amounts of requirements, endless sales of CR, BB, Harvest helper and so on, chat got scrapped so there is not interactions with other players. I don't know whether anyone else remembers, but we used to have fun.... and now it is all focused on BB... NO thanks, I rather play solitaire :wuerg:.

I'm with you. I'm also tired of spending BBs for yet another bikini boutique upgrade. And I can't watch movies to make BBs (think it's a region thing).

Here we are just starting another event (for which a Feedback thread has not yet been started) and there have been errors in the information given (number of total drops was increased) and errors in the event (took double resources in the first few hours which was then "corrected" although I don't know if items were booked back yet; at least two steps are currently taking 60 drops when 30 was the intended number).

Too many events, too close together means that error checking is not taking place. Poor business practices. :(

Another lvl 80+ neighbor of mine is about to go red!! and a couple of others are dwindling :(. I don't really want to become one of those players, but I do not want to invite new players because they tend to give up early

Very disappointing results for the Bahama Wonder Tree . Got yet 4 stables to go

its very disappointing to play for several years and there are now no new crops to grow when we level up. Its like.... oh level 96 and I got some Suzy posts and stuff. I used to so look forward to a new crop but since the Persian Buttercups there is nothing. I notice this has been raised by others in the player feedback for various events. Oh we have a really pretty and perhaps useful for recipes etc. event crop so can we keep it in the game, maybe for when there is no new crop when levelling up? but no..... where are those lovely rosehips we could have used in the confectionery for rosehip syrup? I worked hard for years to reach almost level 97 and there doesnt seem to be anything to look forward to when levelling up. It does make you feel like giving up as the incentive isnt there. and also what happened to the BB Tree? I never won one when they were around and now they have disappewred. Would be nice to get on when I reach level 100!

A BB tree for level 100 would be a lovely incentive to keep going and perhaps a really good level-up-gift for every level up to level 200.

Well done Youzu for scheduling maintenance during an event and just before another event is about to start 8). Very cool 8)8)8), things are going to go wrong when we go live again (feel it in my waters, but hey ho let's see what happens) . You remind me of my RL employer who does not listen to suggestions of improvement and changes things regardless... Therefore I am looking for another job because the business is working towards going bust :music:. Get my drift??

I started a newbie farm recently, to better orient myself as a mentor, etc.

My feelings were largely confirmed that this game is no longer friendly or encouraging for new people, but is instead daunting, even boring with little clear guidance on how to progress or on how quickly the game can and will change. If someone happens to get a good mentor, things are likely better, but many, many things are still only poorly explained or explained ONLY in the forum. I would suggest that all basic items need to have in-game explanations or tutorials (they can be optional!). This includes using the forum. A LOT of people just don't understand that the forum is truly integral or why it is the way it is (separate, etc.) a LOT of people (initially myself included) are worried about any new site and may see the suggestion to go the forum as putting their computer more at risk, putting their information at risk, etc. Note -- it does not matter if these fears are real, if people think that way, then they will avoid the forum and it is up to the game to make it clear that there will be more harm, that this is just another part of the game.

Similarly, events are still not well explained for a rank newbie.

I was able to move up very, quickly, but that is because I already know what to do. In particular, I know how to use the markets to get what i need. Trying to put myself in the perspective of a truly new player and I find that we are inundated with so much so quickly, it becomes overwhelming and daunting, rather than just challenging. Anyone who wants to start by growing everything themselves (and I think a lot of people come here with that intention!), and it would be more daunting yet. I really doubt I would have kept on had that been the case when I started. Also, one thing that definitely DID help me initially was getting a couple of secret seedlings (as they were called back then) and, I believe even a pen or two. These free gifts went a long way in keeping me interested... but they were removed some time ago. I also find that several big misunderstandings and issues persist. The harvester is still poorly explained. I wasted all I got the first few months because unless you go to the forum, how to use the harvester is NOT well explained. Cloud rows also require going to the forum, but even then -- to a new person what is and is not usable is not clear. The distinction between givers and plain deco items is not clear, particularly since some items actually "cross" lines -- are givers that won't work on the cloud rows or are seeming deco items that will work. Expecting new people to "just understand" is not reasonable. Similarly, expecting that they will ask a mentor (assuming they even have a good mentor!) is also not reasonable.

Now, I realize this is full of complaints. I like this game, but have seen relatively few new people join recently. It could be just my perception, but there it is. Not voicing issues won't help anything.

Per the explanations or tutorials -- I am sure many here would be happy to help.

EDIT... in case I was not completely clear, I am not complaining that there are too many challenges for newbies. Sort of the opposite. Its that there are too many unexplained challenges. There is a HUGE difference between how a true newbie and a "second farm newbie" farm operate. Its absolutely natural and reasonable that those of us who have been here longer "know the ropes", and also that higher level players "get more goodies". If that were NOT the case, there would be a problem (in fact, lack of things after level 96 IS a problem). The problem is when there is no "light at the end of the tunnel" visible. That is, the problem is when you come and and instead of being gradually drawn in to the challenges, you are just left with a "Ok -- now what". I actually think that the initial first few steps should be more readily attained by people who don't know what is going on
Essentially, someone should be able to come in, play for no more than an hour and get to level 5, know the very basics, including how events run. IF there is a current event running that the newbie will see, then there should be a tad bit of guidance. I would even think giving these absolute newbies an extra boost for any then-running event would be nice and encouraging to the new people.
If would definitely have to be limited. But, say, someone who reaches level 5 -- or level 20 for breeding events, would be given a quick, one time bonus, WITH an explanation that this is a special "extra" to allow them to participate to some extent. It could come either when they reach that level or the next day. They could be given extra event crops, or powerfeed and pheromones for a breeding event. Anyway.. that probably goes in suggestion, but when I say "too steep", this is what I mean -- there are a lot of things newbies see, but they are so far out of reach they are daunting and discouraging rather than seeming to be achievable challenges.

Woody....you are right on point. I have lost so many chickadees, new neighbours, and long time playing neighbours in the last couple of months....for many of the reasons you have shared. I am right now, losing two of the three chickadees due to no play. I encourage/direct them to the forum.....but like you said, the explanations are not very clear for a newbie.....I do my best at giving and sharing all that I can as a Mentor and neighbour.

If it were not for the forum, I wouldn't have continued to play. I don't rememeber how I found the forum, I only know that it was NOT clear at all that I NEEDED to go there. When I first started playing I had NO idea that the forum was the most important element to playing this game!! Just in the short time that I have been playing, this game has change a lot.....no wonder the new players leave.

I am not going to repeat here what you have said...as you have said it so well. I agreee with your statement that if we do not voice issues, nothing will be done to change in a positive way.

Thank you woody for speaking out and sharing thoughts that many of us perhaps share with you.
    Cheers to positive change

Here is Another reason why I am considering quitting this game.... Baby Boom starting (depending on timeline) is starting in the middle of the day/night and only lasting for 6 hours. Farmers that need to work or sleep to get to work during that time ....well they've dipped out! And that includes me btw >:(. I think this is it for me :sleepy::(:(. I will keep the farm going on bare minimum because I have loads to give away at G&T (IF IT EVER ARRIVES :p), but otherwise I am done! I have invested much real money in this game for the past 4 1/2 years and did not get a lot back >:( So I am done, done, done.......

DEFINITELY agree with the above. You set the BBD so it expires exactly so anyone working a normal 8 hour day shift in the US plain cannot participate. A TOTAL slap in the face and insult! I no longer work those hours, but the unfairness of it strikes me as pretty rotten.

Second, your idea of "rebalancing" the party wheel absolutely stinks! I agree that balancing is reasonable. What is NOT reasonable is to spin a party wheel ticket and get a level 1-2 craft product, basic tree or low level pen (ANY yellow pen!!!) -- whether bought or won as a prize, party tickets should be special with special prizes. They don't all have to be equal, but they should all be something at least worth winning, not total garbage!

EDIT -- similarly, while "scaling" the EP on the wheel is appropriate, the minimum for the party wheel should be higher. Anyone should get at least 5000 EP from a spin. I realize that offers a big jump, but that is the point. These are bought tickets and you want to encourage people to keep on. Also, the scaling will kick in very quickly thereafter.

I like to see my entire CC balance in full at a quick glance. I shouldn't have to hover to see it. Return it to the way it was.
I shouldn't have to hover over my CC balance before spinning the farmwheel & checking again if I land on CCs to see if the correct amount was added, I should be able to see the amount added like I could before your senseless change.
If it's a question of space the star / banana bar can be shrunk, I don't think many farmers have have 10 000 of either.

I agree. Want my FULL balance showing. How do I know if I have enough CCs to buy a high level breeding animal if I can't see it all? (I don't really need to add more clicks to the game to attempt to buy and then find out I can't buy.)

You will see the whole balance when you click/hover on it. (moraine -- sorry it did not work, not sure why) EDIT -- apparently it only works when you first log in.

Per the change ... my guess (and its just that) is that they are making room for something else. Might be worth waiting to see before complaining too much. (cannot imagine another reason for the change...) EDIT -- I have change my opinion, see post on next page. I am keeping this one since folks already responded, etc.

Just had to try it, sadly it doesn't make the CC balance to increase no matter how much I hover....

(sorry for the off topic, just couldn't resist as it took me a few sec before I realized why no number was showing when hovering xD )

In my opinion it is unacceptable to not be able to see your exact cc balance. How else am I going to contain myself on a shopping spree? Hovering doesn't work for me either -.-
