Wilder about Animals

I've just seen a pic on the dark side.

The event layer shows 3 donation parts:

1) Donate fish. Reward: shark pen
2) Donate mammals. Reward: Bears workshop (hammocks)
3) Donate amphibians. Reward: salamander pen

How will we ever save enough power feed again
to get all those. The last one used so much power feed it will be months before I can save that much again.
I am not buying power feed!
I already am spending on the harvester and BBs each month now they want us to buy power feed each month too~
This game is getting a little costly

 

Another breeding event like the last one in less than a month's time is beyond unreasonable. Over 600 PF was needed to complete the event & 20 days later they're going to repeat it! Mill subscription or not this is impossible.
When doing the Neon stable events there was at least 2 months between these events. If cats were the planned breeding animal then keep it CATS! BP you can do another category breeding event in November. Please remember this is a game, we're supposed to enjoy playing.

 

I admit, it could be just me. However, since the new owners of BP have taken charge there seems a tendency to treat this game as a "Cash Cow". The events are now stacked, coming back to back. That is, when one ends another begins. Add to that the increase in goods we must produce to achieve the same goals as before. Which, in effect, shortens the time we need to complete the events.

In my humble opinion it's designed to create a spirit of anxiety towards achieving the goal of event end. The purpose is to get us to worry about completion to the point that we purchase whatever is needed to insure we get all the prizes or Cloud row or whatever we're after. By creating this climate of fear, they figure to increase the sale of Power Feed, Super Grow, Event Baskets and such. Thereby raking in the money that comes from worried Farmers.

They don't realize that most of us joined this game to enjoy a nice, easy game of farming. Occasional events are great. they give us new goals and keep the game fresh. However, when forced to spend our hard earned dollars (I'm disabled & on a fixed income) the fun of the game just falls right off. Like many have said before me: "The game becomes a chore". BP needs to understand this, embrace it and rethink the process they've set in motion. Return this game to a reasonable pace and allow us Farmers to enjoy it once again. You'll get more Farmers playing which will equal more Farmers paying. Continue the way you are and you'll drive most of the paying people away. Your choice.

ummm....does anyone have any idea exactly what animals might be needed for the breeding event? I know fish but not too sure about the other categories. Should I still put out the platypus? Good god, I am never going to keep animals stocked in barn at this rate

julie1013, put out frogs. It's the only current breeding amphibian. Plenty of choices for mammals.

yea I would have saved some of my power feed if I had known they were going to do this. I looked in breeding house and there is only 1 fish which is the fish lol and 1 amphibian which is the frog and 14 mammals: Dog, Mouse, Rabbit, Goat, Bat, Sheep, Pig, Cow, Horse, Donkey, Beaver, Monkey, Camel, and Panda

 

@ escalonilla Is that a Fish, Monkey, & Parrot they show in that graphic? My old eyes just don't see as well as they used to.

 

no its a fish, monkey and dog and the last one is frog and some kind of lizard don't feel bad I had to climb on top of it to see what it was lol
