I liked this event, especially Ingrid's songs! (The crickets effect is hilarious!) Not too hard to find the right combo, but still, a little logic. ;)
Also, the 1 free nectar at the start was a very welcome surpise!
Did not enjoy the long crop growing and the scarse drops....
All in all, it was nice, thank you!:music:

This Event Took too long to do to get what i need. The Drop Rate was not as good as i liked. For This Reason why this Event took too long to do.

Creating Songs was good, but got bit boring in the End as Too many Songs needed to Make Stars.

It was high Amount of Stars needed to get Cloud Row and Givers. This was bit too many stars for many of us as we can use stars to get other things.

Offering Chocolate Syrup Reciepe is only Ideal for Newbies. But I am High Level Farm who not yet got a Fruit Cake Receipt as that would be worth getting.

It is not nice to Bring FAQ after the Event has Started. It is not Fair to user using this Forum. Compared to European Forums who have better advantage to us. It All About Fairness and Balance in the Game Big Point needs to adhere to this....

The prizes were good but the effort to get them was excessive. Much too much clicking and waiting. It got very tedious after the first couple of goes. I also agree that the drops were low. It was difficult to gauge how many crops were needed too.
I think it would have been nice to get compensation for the lack of advance FAQ as most of us rely on a good first harvest to boost our drops.

    Graphics, as always, are great.

I enjoyed Ingrid coming to our farms again but about half way through I was tired of it all. Too many crops (grew over 30k on each farm). Strategy was to balance crops and drops and I did ok with that but felt the drop rate was out of proportion. I even had a field of event crops that produced Zero drops and I have the LL at 30% and a Howie on that field. Not what I would have expected.

The first day of listening to songs was hilarious but I had to turn the sound off again. The crickets were a nice touch.

Lots of nice prizes in the shop but had to choose carefully as it was impossible to get them all without heroic measures.

Late OA of the event prevented us from being able to prepare our farms adequately.

Overall, I enjoyed the event but am just as glad it is over.

    8) Too many crops - again....and another completed cloud row missed - again.-.- This has become so frustrating, I don't look forward to the stress events bring these days. As well, the cloud row givers cost too much.

As for the game itself, it was fun, and the prizes were good. Just needs the usual tweaking of crop requirements!!

I agree with what many have said; for me this was a "too" event::eek:
Too many crops to get stars
Prizes were nice but too many stars needed to get them(so not much actually
    obtained)
    Too much tiresome work
The only thing there wasn't too much of were drops.

Nice graphics as usual, but even the best graphics aren't the main thing for me in events.

Other than the tardy OA at the start of the event, the fact that the drops were no where near what they needed to be to gain all offered.

I refuse to be forced to purchase anything just to attain all that's offered. If that means I can't gain the Cloud Row, then I will not get that row. I'm disabled. On a fixed income. That means I don't have the dollars you keep trying to squeeze from us. No matter how much you tweak these events to skew them towards us buying more, the fact remains that I don't have it to spend. Wake up people. Bring back the reasonable quests we've had in the past. let loose your greed!

I forgot to Mention it was much harder to Earn Stars Compared to last Event Called Viking Saga as needed only 15 Drinking Horns to Win up to 50 Stars.

This time needed 25 Vials Needed for Mill Plus needed 500 Event Crops, The Viking Saga only needed 290 Event Crops for Milling.

It is a Huge Difference. I do not know why this Event was Set as Medium in my views it should have been set to hard.

The Concept was Exactly the Same as Viking Saga. Plus it was harder to do. Overall Not a Great Event. It does not help by making it harder with Changing Status from Medium to Hard as it should have been !!!

All an All not bad, turned off the sound :} with 5 field's working, island always with the crop, main farm with the crop. the other two field's spelt for the drops. after i reached 5000 crops started with long grow on 3 fields late afternoon, day time 3 maybe 4 fields crop,
finished with 45hr's to go, started for the addon's not sure what to go for, trees or stable's ? old trees or old stables? took the ticket's, and the stinkin sticker. left this event with 80 stars 17 viles an 8900 honey pitchers, there was time for one more crop but i wasent going to get up at 3am for it.

I enjoyed this event :) the first free vial was a very nice gesture, the graphics as usual were great, drop items weren't though:) I managed to get enough stars for the CR and givers and the 'beloved' sticker, after which I stopped playing :) I can honestly now understand why, when I drive home from work and I'm 'singing' along (usually at full volume) I have odd looks from my fellow commuters :)
Not having the FAQ's beforehand was a bit unfair but I guess I was lucky in the fact that I had planted carnations in the morning before going to work, so I did have a bit of a boost with the initial drops :) plus, having awesome neighbours helped too :) Thanks to all that helped with drop items :inlove: I agree that this really should have been graded as a hard event, but mainly for the poor drop rate

I enjoy the puzzle, but did not bother to finish because I didn't want to sit through that much animation. If I had wanted to go for all the rewards I'd have been as frustrated as everyone else about the drop rate! It's really tough when it doesn't matter how hard you've worked, something you can't control (random drops) prevents you from success.

I think starting 6 hours in because I went by the announcements set me back. I had no big ep crops, no 15 hour pens on the field. Last time I had got everything and an extra one of each giver. My haul this time? I scraped up enough for the cloud row. Which doesn't sit well with me because of the oversight of not posting it. In a perfect world, they would have extended it by a day to help us out. My main beef about this event was the volume of crops needed to get anywhere, 46k+? 9 rotations a day which was impossible and the drop rate for these was pitiful. The # of animals vs. band, and 25 songs? your odds were you couldn't catch a cold with this. 500 of a crop for each game was a joke; I call that SUFF er (Set Up For Failure) and newer players can't afford that.
In a few days wilder about animals will be no different, I am guessing that 3+ million worth of animals will be asked for and need 1200+ Powerfeed to finish and for that I don't plan to Suffer.

Congrats on the orange Eagles, dutch:D:D:D I got my first deer:inlove::music::inlove: another swan:inlove::inlove: or bee and yl egg farmo_Oo_O Trees were nothing new for me:(:(
In regards to this event, I posted a query about the FAQ's and was given what I would consider a rather flippant response. Why? Who knows but I wasn't about to be caught off guard so I went to the German forum and put my eggs in that basket. To not have been able to prepare for this event properly really put many players at a huge disadvantage:cry: Not 8)8)8)-.--.- There was no way any one could have finished this event by harvesting drops alone let alone get any extra givers which I would have loved to have.
I do however enjoy these Viking events and whatever Ingrid wants us to do but I felt there were too many songs. Please, BP, don't ruin these viking events for us by making the drop ratio out of whack:wuerg::wuerg::):)
EDIT: It would have been nice if another recipe was offered for those who already had the chocolate syrup recipe ;):)

Didn't/couldn't get half the prizes I wanted >:(, even with stripping my farm bare from the get-go so I could grow NOTHING but event crops all day and long term crops overnight. I am sure there were many other farmers that did the same. With all that effort on our part we should not have had to choose which prizes we wanted from a Medium rated event. Drops were the limiting factor, for all of us. Waiting for a measly 8-10 drops per field of event crops each harvest (on average for my farm at least) took a lot of fun out of this event. With so many farmers griping about drops you would think SOMEONE would tweak things a little. Geeze.

In my humble opinion things were "Tweaked" Just a little. BP Tweaked the drops to the point where if we Farmers wanted to complete the event as we normally do, gaining all of the items, then we would be forced into spending real life dollars for the drops to gain all of the items. I'm serious here. The new owners of BP see this game as a "Cash Cow". Just reflect on the changes we've seen with the events. More crops are needed and the drops are less each time, or nearly so. It all adds up to greed on their part. The sad thing they don't realize is that by forcing us in this way they are effectively chasing us off. I offer the exodus of long time Farmers, (players we've known for a long while who were dedicated to playing the game), over how this event started on day one. They simply refused to be treated as rubbish to be fleeced and I can't say as I blame them.

No Farmer in their right mind will play this way. It simply is not good business practice to bleed your customers like this. That being said I'll hush now. No one likes a griper and I feel that's what I've become. I'm going back to plain ol Pipps now.

    8) In the end I found I had over 400 drops leftover - BUT - it was a trade-off. I don't clear my fields, and it seems like high end/rare pens/trees give good drops. Of course, then I can't grow those gy-normous amounts of crops...so I didn't get to finish either, or get more than one of the givers.-.-Seemed almost impossible whatever way you planned.....with the exception of those very dedicated, skilled event players, of course! They have figured it out somehow. :music: Kudos to them!:)
