I have to say that I am very disappointed with recent events and this is just another with a lot of work for little reward. Maybe that's why we have a Happy Harvest event, growing the event crops will take a little less time. :)

I feel there is something sadly lacking with prizes in recent events: Another CR - already fed up with manually harvesting what I've got. o_O I keep looking back at the prize list to see if I am missing something (as happened many times in the past) but no, there is nothing remotely of interest to me. :(
The amounts of EP/CC/TEP are :sleepy:. (Similarly the PF which was given in the last breeding event. Ridiculous amounts for the amounts needed to participate.)

There are no prizes with that "I've got to have THAT" lately: no new recipes or, come to that, old recipes - CAC would be great for any player who wasn't here when it was a prize about five years ago! Rare animal pens/trees would also be most appreciated. Harvester coupons or even, dare I say it, harvester functions which kick in straight way would be better than none! :)

I don't know if this is the way the game is going to continue but I have always loved events and would do anything to participate and hopefully finish but there seems to be a trend where the events are more and more difficult to complete and the prizes in no way equal the amount of effort needed to do so. -.-

I want to end on a positive note, the graphics as usual look fantastic and there is no complaint about the mechanics of any of the events or quests but really, if you want people to spend (and that is probably the nub of the game), you need to make events more attractive. If a non-paying player like me can't be bothered, the paying ones are going to hang on to their hard earned RM. 8)

I saw the number of crops needed and thought, no way, not doing that.
Can't comment on mechanisms etc because I'm not doing the event.

Events used to be something to look forward to. Now, they are just something to be skipped. Lots of work for little reward. This is supposed to be a game. Something for entertainment. Not a chore.

Just an edit to my first post just in case I misled anybody - double harvest is in fact double EP not crops so not even any incentive there to grow tons of the stuff. Such a shame that a lot of farmers are feeling the same - MM (especially an extended one!) has always been such a fun event ... :(

Thank you BP for these events. I won't be able to finish all, but there are some nice prizes that are doable for me.
The graphics are fun, too. :)

Good event spoilt by the rewards of LOTS & LOTS of EP and TEP AND yet MORE on another cloud row also giving EP and TEP ...which is becoming extremely BORING :( amounts are far to much for these pathetic rewards we are getting:wuerg:

And the lack drops isn't brilliant to get these pathetic rewards >:(
Best thing about this event ... The Graphics.. lovely as always

While other events have had better prizes, this event is OK for me. My big complaints are that the drop items come ONLY from the moonlight field crops, and not the event crops as well. Limiting drops to only one field seems poorly thought out, especially since there is an event crop associated with this event, and the requirements for drop items are progressively higher. It seems that if there is an event crop, then the drop items should come from those crops as well. Also, I am disappointed that the event crops can not also be grown in the Baha fields, especially since the crop requirements are so high. I can imagine that it is time consuming to come up with so many different events, and it is clear that the developers work hard to make them varied and interesting. I just wish that the user comments as to what is favorable and what is unfavorable would be considered. Thank You. I enjoy playing Farmerama very much, and I am appreciative of the hard work that goes into the game and events.

I must be simple minded but I keep getting lost in that house on the hill. I've stopped playing, after wasting a few rooms...

I like the golden Banana's though.

My list helped me. Stables, :inlove: Stars, got me to the top of Tree of Wisdom. :inlove:
Gold Bananas, got Peanuts to feed my Flamingos. :inlove:
When I enter the Haunted House, I find and click on my next goal. The path to the prize lights up.
Thanks BP for the light. :D I would not have had any fun in the dark.

okay, I've played enough to know what it going to be like... I love the graphics the event crops don't take too long and some of the prizes are good. not great except for the wonder stables.. i am really disappointed in my drops. I'm not getting hardly any. i usually get plenty but for some reason on this event I'm not getting enough to keep up with the event crops . it could be because they aren't letting us get drops on the event crops, only the moonlight field. and i know BP has to make money for this but i think main holiday events (in all countries) shouldn't be so hard. just my opinion though.. it would be nice to get mostly done but i don't think I'm going to get much at all done because of the drop rate. I'm getting help from other players and its still not going to be near enough:oops: oh well. i still got the wonder stables.

Got the Cloud Row and EP's and all other "special" items. Working on completing the event and getting extra EP's =5 rooms left - 1 is event crops that are already planted = 3 are locks for EP's and the last 1 is a lock for the event sticker that I will also try to get just so I can have a completed event.

I was also able to get my Crow Breeding, 2 Firefly Lairs, 2 Queen's Apple and a Tentacle Tree from Jack's Shop.

It doesn't look like I will be able to finish completely because when you get to 1/2 - 3/4 of the way through the events always decrease the drop rates. So even though I have all of the needed crops I don't have enough drops.

I guess I shouldn't complain though because if it gets changed to where the drop rate changes to make it consistent throughout the game I probably won't be able to get the Cloud Row, etc. because the drop rate will be lowered.

    EDIT 1: 13 hours - 2 locked rooms - 2 widgets in inventory left.
EDIT 2: Event over - 2 rooms still locked.

Hmm, feedback. I planted, I harvested, and I rushed through all the rooms without paying much attention. I think it was an okay event. Not great, not bad. I'd like there to be drop from event crop. I liked the fact Bahama was left out. Means a) I could farm normally there and b) easier for newer players to take part and do well. No idea how I feel about the prizes, I got mulch from the party spins, which is almost mandatory on my spins. But at least I had the excitement while it span. The art work was as beautiful as ever :inlove:. (<- do not forget to mention this when you return the feedback to HQ!). I think I like the fact that MM field was also left out of the event. Crop numbers seem to be as normal, drop seem to be an issue for a lot of people. I like to think if you are active, manage to do all the required crop with time to spare and max the drop-trophies you should get enough drop to complete any event without cutting it close. If it's just the randomness that decided, you have taken away the accomplishment part of the event and with the fun of the events. It needs to be doable without buff and RL money.

I also enjoyed the length of the event, which is one week. Not too long so it becomes boring, and not too short making it hectic

Although I like the fact that moonlight only events are "even" for "everyone", (no howie donuts for drop increases, everyone has access to all the crops, etc.) the requirements here were so stiff that only people who are able to "sit" at their computers can complete it. This is NOT what I signed up for with Farmerama! Even with CAC, terror bouquets, etc on full blast, I still did not get enough drops to finish event.

I am definitely disappointed about the drop items. There is no way to get all the traps without spending money. I am lucky if I can get more than 3 or 4 drops per harvest. No way will I ever be able to get enough for more than 1 or 2 more traps which means that I won't be able to even finish the first half of the rooms! This makes me sad . . . and not very interested in playing the event.

I understand what you mean but here we go again:

I hope you are right because I sit at my computer for quite some time during events and used the buffs mentioned and still it does not look like I will receive enough drops to finish completely. I still have 3 locked rooms left to open to finish.

I was able to get crow breeding opened though and other "special" items.

I would actually like to see where you could completely finish a game if you put in the time or by buying baskets, etc. I think this would serve all types of players -- those who use real money, those who don't and those who occasionally do. I don't think BP would lose money by doing this because some people just buy the baskets, PF, etc. because they can and some buy occasionally and some rarely buy items. It may even end of generating more funds because some players might quit shortly after signing up because they don't feel as though they can compete. In addition, a players financial status could change (up or down) changing how much they spend on games.
