Oh boy, oh boy, better nail everything down with this event then!

 

17 widgets for me. Regretfully not enthused with this event, but will see how it goes. About the only thing of interest to me are the stables.
Hope everyone is able to reach their goals!

 

No spooky widgets from 3 dark firefly pens Edit: But Noelle has gotten a drop as posted below.
If we need 408 spooky widgets to complete everything, that's only a daily quota of 68. I guess the drops won't be too much of a problem.

 

I have got 15 widgets so far ...3 of these people have sent me ...so in total from MM i have 12 SO cannot see myself finishing this event

Talking about them Dark Firefly pens ... where does the feed come from? I bought four and had about 180 feed already. Did I make it in my sleep. Have the feed fairies been to my farm? So curious as to how I can feed new critters when I don't remember milling the feed. Please don't tell me they eat PF!

 

I got 11 from my 2nd harvest, think it was some 3h-sih crop. There is hope Nellie, hope it doesn't drop

Edit: could the Dark firefly eat the same feed as the glow worms ?

Really ... thought that I had less than 100 Glow worm feed and that the dark ones had over 100 ... all will be revealed next time I harvest them. Thanks all for helping a poor hapless farmer out!

I almost sent Wilsons out as a daily gift, the event drop is not were it normally is Oh why oh why do they do this to us poor birdbrains. I apologize to all my friends and neighbours if you wanted a drop and got a Wilson. I tried my best, my best being a Wilson

 

I just got a widget from harvesting a firefly! (The only thing I harvested were the two firefly pens.)

 

408 drops get everything, including 2 sets of givers. You can get the cloud row with only 168 drops if you follow the path posted here.
That's only 28 drops per day. Easy

@Noelle20001 , that is good to know! I just harvested 1 Darklight Firefly Lair that I fed with
glowworm food and got NO widgets for it! Good Luck everyone!

 

The event is running for just over 7 hours, I started right away and I now have 46 widget. My quick and easy guess: the drop rate is approx 6 widgets per hour, regardless what crop/tree/pen you have out. Given we have 6 days for the event I'll call it a decent drop rate. Yay!

I feel good - 3 widgets (39 drops) for the day - first two rooms 'cleaned' - at least I can get the stables.
I decided last MM to not only put in long growing crops but also put them in 1x1's at the very least I planned to use PJ - it was a good plan - even though I didn't expect a long MM event.

habalala - your drop rate is amazing!!!

For me Glowmold for the night - I still think the longer crops have better drops.

 

Poo is currently sold out on this market. Max the farm can list for is 20.86. Other than on the initial five or ten event junks, this farm very rarely uses poo. The strategy is to now hold poo until others raise the price index and then unload it.

The above is very specific and provides strategy information during this event. However, I have noticed more and sometimes an excessive number of posts regarding the market in these strategy threads.

With the desire to make it easier for strategy-only seekers to easily review current event strategy, a thread titled General Market Chit Chat Exchange has been posted. Surely some related market information will continue to surface in the strategy threads and some strategy information should be expected to surface in the market thread as they are related in many ways.

I have no intention whatsoever of leading the direction of the newly initiated market thread. My personal goal has been accomplished by merely initiating a separate thread. We'll see where this takes us.

 

THINK i have only got to open another 2 rooms to get all i want from this event AND only one for the 1000 EP on my journey to reach the stables ..have got the party tickets .. And hopefully only have to grow another 750 event crop...that's if my maths are correct

In less than 24 hours I have gotten 72 widgets (with no start drops), so I think I'll be fine. To be on the safe side I'll save the sticker for last. It is 56 widgets for the last ghost trap, so getting everything but the sticker only takes 352 drops.

I took a look at the blueprint. To get all the good prizes I'll have to clean most of the EP/TEP/CC rooms, but it seems room 30 and 35 can be left out. That'll save 750 event crops
