Gift Giving - Neighbors

This is related to something I previously suggested but I didn't notice this problem (frequent changing of neighbors) until recently.

I suggest that my neighbor list be only those 23 players (including myself) who are currently active neighbors to my farm.

I would like to have a separate list of buddies and when a neighbor leaves that player should be transferred to the buddy list (or deleted if not possible to transfer).

I would like this because it will make it easier to keep track of my neighbors for gift giving and also because some players may be doing this to get more gifts even though they are no longer active neighbors.

I know they daily gift is not that big of a deal but they add up and I would like to gift those to only active neighbors. Other gift can be sent to buddies during GT.

 

I know I gift the same way as most, (or at least I think I do), that is I gift to my neighbors on a rotating basis. Using a notepad, I keep track of who sends gifts. Then place all "Active" Neighbors on my gifting list. As it rotates day to day it will be a day or two before your turn comes around again. A pain yes, but works well and is fair for all involved.

I have suggested that BP increase the amount of gifts given per day to the amount of Neighbors we have. It simply isn't right to make two thirds of my active neighbors wait for a gift. Since I'm allowed only 7 gifts per day and have 20 active Neighbors this system gets old fast. It's time to expand the amount of gifts we can give daily.

 

I guess as long as you use the gift icon on the right side of the screen there is no problem as long as you keep track of gifts but if you use the city one your neighbors and listed with whoever was a neighbor in the past and any buddies you have added with nothing to indicate whether they are neighbors or buddies.

I was just thinking that I would like them listed separately but I think it has more to do with me encountering the problem in the early am hours (sleep deprived) and posting before I had a good night sleep to think about it.

 

I do use the city one. However, my Notepad list isn't confused as I have listed my Neighbors ONLY. But, you're right in that when it comes time to gift Neighbors and Buddies are all listed together. A separation of the two would be very nice as well.

 

A separate list would be very useful. I will also want a search box so I can type the name of a player and I can find him fast and easy because searching 25 pages of friends is very hard!

 

Searching or put their names on the pictures..Its very hard to find someone without having a good memory. And I lack that very very much..
