Am I missing something with the FAQ's, I keep reading them to see if they have changed but so far no, I seem to be missing the cloud row giving the CC's that are offered with the giver items so does this mean that if I/we get the giver items and not the cloud row I/we'll be 4900CC's & 4900EP/TEP twice daily better off hmm, a few extra spins or the CC's I think I know which I'd prefer but if I have been misled, would someone be so kind to let me know ching ching

 

From the faqs:

You'll get these drop items when harvesting your trees, crops and animal pens on Main Farm, Green Meadow, Glade, Bahamarama & Rainforest

Looks as if not from production pens! First boo boo of this farm (preparing for this event) will be addressed in seven hours.

 

Mooboy, I think the German FAQ has 16,500 for the crops, not 15,500. But I could be wrong Still, 16,500 crops seems low considering we have 5 fields and the last event was 21,000 with 3 fields Go figure

 

This is the first time I am going to FULLY prepare for an event - fields 1X1's with long crops - only 20 hr unharvested trees - delete all pens
After event starts - CAC with PP for 5 days -FC/WI/SG/SSG junk - refined roses in Comfort fields until enough junk to fill at least one field
any other suggestions would be helpful.

 

why is it i cant find the fnq's for fright night event ? have checked everywhere !!!

Simple math.....330 x 50 crop = 16,500

But according to Mooboy's smart plan (below) we can save 20 bags and his 15,500 (310 x 50) is correct.
"It is Pointless Feed Spooky Sweets the Bat or Pumpkin Character due to In Balance of Trick and Treat Bags Needed to Progress Each Level as they give 6 and 12 Trick and Treat Bags Respectively !!"

This is not correct as far as I know, and understand, the different language FAQs for this event.

It does not matter at all to which character you give the sweets as all the characters in the entire event exchange 1 sweet for 2 bags. (1 for 2 or 3 for 6 or 6 for 12 or 10 for 20 is all the same math)
It also does not matter what amount is needed for each step as you get the bags and then donate them, leftovers will just wait for the next step.

I did read this topic but can not find where those 20 bags can be saved. 33 levels x 20 bags is 660 bags.

Please help me along if I am not right here

 

Thanks for pointing it out as 15500 is incorrect Actually we need 16500 Candy Puff.

Using All Fields and CAC we should be able to Grow 16500 Candy Puff First Three Days of This Event. Just going to Take much longer to get 1320 Sweet Wrappers.

Once I have Grown 16500. I will Change my tactic to Boost Drop Rate to be able to get all the remaining Sweet Wrappers.

MSB I did not say you have to do it my way. I simply suggest a simpler Method to which Character to donate Spooky Sweets to.

Initially we have to Build up Enough Candy Puff and Sweet Wrappers, to Start Milling Spooky Sweets. From Level 13 I intend to Mill Sweet Wrappers in Batches of 10 X 50 (500 Candy Puff and 40 Sweet Wrappers). Then donate 10 Spooky Sweets to the Spider Character.

It Just More Hassle to work out how many more Spooky Sweets to Mill, Also Which Character to Donate Spooky Sweets to. You have to bear in Mind that some farmers are not good at Maths. I do try to post to make it as Friendly as Possible to Newbies too.

Yes this Event will be easier to Obtain 16500 Candy Puffs using All 5 Fields Compared to last Event only had 3 Fields to grow Event Crops. I Intend to get all 16500 Candy Puff asap. Then I can put out my 22 Cat Kennels that i have plus i will buy 106 Cat Kennels From the Store which will be available from 27th October. So Stock as Many Cats as i can ready for Cat Breeding

According to our FAQ the exchange for the pumpkin is 6 treats to get 8 bags and the spider is 10 treats to get 10 bags. Am I missing something? The only ones that you get 2 for 1 is the witch and bat.

Well, I have a concern I haven't seen addressed (pardon me if I'm wrong), but these characters just... appear? Randomly? So... another drop(-in) rate we can't influence, but which our success will depend on in this event. I mean, I like that this is a new mechanism, but randomness is rarely on our side in this game, isn't it?

Maybe I'll just fill my fields with cats. And good luck to everyone!!!

 

I did not say it was wrong to do it one way or the other, I only stated that it does not make a difference in the total amount. As each sweet is converted into two bags whatever character it is given too. And that there is not 310 but 330 sweets needed. And you do not start out with the spider character anyway, so start off with the odd numbers no matter what you do.


The other option that I will use is to devide everything by 10. So I will mill 33 spooky sweeties at a time, even if that is an odd number, I do this so I can tally 10 times. But thats just me It also makes it easy to calculate the needed crops, just devide by 10.


Resulting in 1650 crops and 132 wrappers per batch of 33 spooky sweeties, and I just keep a piece of paper and tally mark each milling round till I reach 10. For me this is the way to not have to calculate, I just have a piece of paper with 1650 crops and 132 wrappers noted at the top. And each time I reach that I turn on the mill and note a tally mark below. After 10 marks it is done.

So many players, so many ways, there often is no wrong or right as long as the amounts add up at the end

Yeah they will pop up randomly, but mostly on several fixed places and easy to find. It is not new, they use these pop up characters for years already, so do not worry.
It is just one of the reasons that I do not wait for a spider to pop up and just donate to all characters that I see. I am a bit impatient and it does not matter in the outcome.

Since we have all 5 fields to use, I plan on keeping 1 or 2 planted with longer crops. Hopefully this will help me keep up on drops I'm not concerned about getting the event crop grown....just don't want to wait on those drops Good luck everyone!!

 

I'm done with the initial harvest. I can tell you the little witch-coons are everywhere! So fear not on that point.

Drops appear to be reasonable too. So I'll just grow event crops till I have what I need and switch to A refined crop. (nothing new here)

 

Got everything wrong from the first step. Forgot to put my howies. Forgot to put the manure on sale & lost some hundred manure or so. Crops all went weeds. Unable to login for several days & therefore no preparation for drops. Got only 143 drops from initial harvest. Still cannot easily access the net for few more days. Therefore will be having some trouble doing this event. But hope to catch up after few days as I am having a holiday of nearly 5 days leave. Let's see if I can get the cloud row. All the best for everyone. Cannot go through the FAQ & this thread in full. At least for another day or two. No idea what the strategy is. But will catch up later on.

Couldn't get the extra set of Ep givers & the STICKER in the previous event as couldn't login for several days. A viking without a sticker Oh ! I rounded up the sticker on all sides & something went wrong and I lost itWhat am I to do ?

Did broke get the CAC & EM ? Curious to know.

Got 104 drops ... which is not bad considering what i usually get ....so hopefully they will be good for us in this event

I keep one howie on each of my fields ..so i don't have to remember to move them ...would soon have 5 % then carry them around
Have got 4 witches on my main field already ... and have nothing to give them yet

 

Started my farm last friday evening, this morning was level 58 with all mainland fields, rainforest and baha (except part 4) lugged around two trophies at level 10 and 9. And what did I get? 45 drops total from daffodils/red poppy/lilies mix and pineapples.

Well planning to go to level 13 in the event first and see where I get. Nice to have the giver items so early on
