I think there are too many steps in this event. Growing candy and collecting wrappers ok, milling them to bon-bons ok, handing them out to the dressed up kids ok. But what is a trick or treat bag? Why do we have to collect them and submit them in the event window? Seems like an unnecessary step to me. The bar could just fill up automatically like it has in events like this before.

Handing out treats, receiving a trick or treat bag (is that really a thing?) in return, which then has to be donated in the event window, is not much fun. When he have had events like this before there has always been an element of surprise attached to the gift giving. If we are going to have trick or treat, there should be some tricks! A trick could for instance be throwing some paint on one of the animals in our barn, turning it into a colored animal. A pig to a brown pig, a goat to a black goat or a fish to a rainbow fish. Then handing out the treats would be a lot more fun :D

A positive change is the characters that take more than one treat at a time, so less clicks!

I like these events where we feed the characters on our farm. I don't often do the crop-growing events, but I happen to be on leave, and I like to feed the critters.

    Drop rate good.

I would also prefer the gifts to be given from the characters as in previous events, as @-Mir85- says.

  4. This game has great graphics, reasonable drops, fun flowers, cute little witches .............
Well that's about it. It's long-winded, boring and involved lots of waiting for the witches to turn up. Last night I waited several minutes and saw two. This morning it took three minutes for the first one to show, then one or two over a ten minute period until I was able to click and get the first prize for 20 bags I realise that it is intended to speed up (well I assume it will) as you give more of the milled goody bags, but I just don't have hours to spend staring at a screen waiting - time passes - still waiting, as the old dos based, text games used to say.
I'm not sure the prizes are worth the effort - actually I am sure, they aren't - especially as it's taken me too much time, merely watching and waiting. Initially, to get the witches last night and then the first witch this morning after logging on, not including the time spent growing and milling.

Each step takes 20 bags, so 1000 crops plus 80 drops x 33 / however many points you get per bag (update because I didn't realise you get more points per bag) - to complete an event that isn't that engaging. If I'm going to spend time and possibly BBs (or real cash) for Suzi,SG,CAC, tractor, to say nothing of uprooting my pens and trees, just so I can grow event crops - then I want something more than a 'grow and throw' event.

So, I've gone back farming as I cannot find the appeal of watching and waiting, until a tiny figure finally turns up, I give it a bag and poof, nothing until the next one anywhere up to 30 seconds later. True, sometimes two actually turn up together and maybe later on several will appear - but, that's presupposing I stay the course until then, in my case not happening.

I have updated this post, after milling the last harvest into goody bags and giving them in I realised that you get more points each for your bags. However, the rest of my post still stands - the witches only appear after a minute or more, sometimes two at once, but the interval between appearances is too long.

I love this type of event game normally - it's fun. Sadly, the revamp has taken that fun out of it and left not a lot.

I like most aspects of this event: the crop requirement isn't too high, drops are okay - for the moment (hope they continue as they have been!), milling is okay but I would prefer being able to use the Baha mill instead of the main mill. Unless, of course, we could mill PF in both! :p

The only thing I don't like is, as Hoppy said, the wait for the spooky characters is too long and it takes forever to feed them all the candy in order to get enough to donate to the event itself to claim the prizes. Far too much unnecessary clicking. :(

Prizes are pretty good though nothing really outstanding but much better than the last event. :)

As always, the graphics are superb - great imagination on the part of the Devs! ;)

This is the most hideous event ever! I have a life & I am way to impatient for this non-sense. I don't want to wait for ever for the little creatures reappear, before I can click on them again. Especially when we have to do this a zillion times. Please, speed up these event so they don't drag on.

Even as a veteran farmer/event participant, I had trouble figuring out what to do with the sweet bags. I had to reread the FAQs twice, so I can only imagine what newer players are thinking.

If you do an event like this again, have a "submit" button.
Its also unclear where these figures appear. Since the crop can be grown on all fields, one would think that the figures would appear everywhere, but that does not seem to be the case.

Also, it is taking an inordinately long time for the witches, etc to appear. For an event with so many steps, this seems unwarranted. What about making them appear more frequently at first and then more slowly? And...the later figures take even longer! It is slow enough that there is a real possibility I will have plenty of drops, etc, but not be able to donate in the time frame allotted. That is, I don't like to "live" on the computer just to complete an event! I do have a real life to live!

along those lines, I wish we could mill the items on Baharama.

First, graphics. With all the technical items at your disposal, there is no excuse for not having excellent graphics. However, the design of the graphics this time seem to be a bit short-sighted. The purple "bat" looks more like an eggplant that wouldn't be able to fly with the wings it has been given. A pumpkin head fox? At least the "witch" looks nice. I haven't yet gotten to the spider but will hope that it looks like a nice character.

The mechanism for donating the candy treats is not working well. I shouldn't have to refresh the game in order to get any of the characters to appear. It is also very redundant to donate to get only another item to donate. Really? Complex and boring. At this point in time, I suspect I will stop after getting the GBs and the last giver item. The rest doesn't seem worth the effort.

Wow. People are vicious. I think this event is fun. I think the costumes are adorable, and they are obviously the animals trying to dress up as something else, and I think they are precious. I agree that maybe there's an extra step involved, but I don't mind it, it's all cute, and it makes this event different than other "feed the characters" events. I think the prizes are lovely, and there's a lot of mean spirited whining going on about prizes just simply because you gave us a couple of really great events for prizes, and now we expect them all the time. The ONLY thing I have to complain about, in general, is that you are giving us an inordinate requirement for PF without giving gifts that match it - but there was a time we'd all have been thrilled about thirty five PF being given.

I second the request for being able to mill event items on Baha. This time around it feels like you are restricting our mill use so that more people will buy PF, which is the way the whole game has felt for about six months, that EVERYTHING is about driving us to spend more money. Stop with that already. You've heard multiple complaints about it, and lost over two dozen players that I know of, because of it, so get a clue and hear your players. Stop requiring us to spend money, and then we'll WANT to. The people who don't spend money now, are not going to, they'll just leave the game. And the players who want to spend money will stop doing it because we don't want to leave the game, but we also want to feel like we've taken some action. So please, listen to your players. Events like this are fun. They don't have huge requirements, but they DO necessitate a little thought, which I personally LIKE. I want to have to think about what to pull up and what I can leave. That's what makes this game more than a game, because you have to strategize. Just please stop making our strategy, include spending real money just to squeak by.

I like this event. There are a few glitches but with a bit of tweaking I would really enjoy it.

I like the prizes....a bit of everything making it well rounded. I agree that the PF amount would normally be exciting, but with recent breeding events that were too demanding and cats coming up soon, I would like to have seen this amount awarded to be greater.

For events that require milling, please allow us to do it in both mills. That way I can choose what works best for me at the time I need/can mill my items.

I like that we don't have gift boxes to collect after giving sweet treats to the characters (too much clicking) and that as we go along, we can give characters more than 1 at a time (big hit for me!).

It was a bit confusing in the actual donation window what to do. But once I realized I needed to actually click on the treat bag for donation, I am enjoying watching the room decorate as I do.

The biggest drawback so far has already been stated by others...the time between characters appearing on the field is way too long. I have had a field be over 30 minutes waiting for them to show up. I have changed fields and refreshed and sometimes that helps and others not.

Finally, we have had events that gave duplicate givers. This is the one time I would be eager to work for a 2nd set. We rarely see givers that have CCs and it would be really nice to get the cloud row feature (3 spins) and keep the givers in the park for the CC.

Overall, nice event. I didn't think I would like it since it came so closely following the last one but I'm all in:)

i like this event. after the last moonlight mania event this one is refreshing. it's fun and cute and the event crops don't take too long. i especially like it that we can actually turn our little witches and bats off so we can harvest, because sometimes they get in the way.i love it that we can use our whole farm if we want to. i love love love it that we get drops for everything we grow or raise on our farms i love the ep giver give cc too, and the cloud row...wow...i like it a lot too. i hope i can get it. I'm going to try. right now I'm getting plenty of drops. hope that doesn't change. it is daunting waiting for the critters to show themselves but in the spirit of Halloween and my kids loving to play hide and seek its kind of fun as well. i am glad this event isn't as hard. it makes it more fun for me when i think there is a chance of finishing... maybe... rather than getting into the event and realizing there is no way short of a miracle I'll be able to finish.

i have to say i love the Halloween decorations and all the costumes..it's Halloween yay......

We have spooky characters, trick or treat bags and candies presented in this event. So far so good. What I'm missing thou is the element of suprise (other than randomness). It would've been an awesome event if we were given the option to open our (leftover) trick or trick bags and in return get a surprise gift of some kind .. a Jack's Shop item, special MM buff, super harvest bonus or 10 pumkins .. anything.

It ain't Oct. 31 yet but I do wish for a creapy SPOOKY element in the game. I expect my screen to go all black but the Farmarama logo for a few seconds on the day.

    Wishfull thinking?

I'm loving this event!!!!! :inlove: Yes, initially, it is a bit tedious a to get enough crops to be able to make the candy treats, but after the 1st 24 hours, I could start milling away!!! I'm in love with the candy puff crop!!! Again...I wish we could keep it!
The characters in their costumes are adorable!!!:p I like that there are 4 of them with different amounts required.....and that they remain on the field until clicked. By the time you reach the spider woman the clicking quickly reduces.
I'm a big fan of cute Halloween. I love children in their costumes....and this event very much reminds me of this Holiday.
I too wish we could get a 2nd round of the givers. I haven't decided yet if I will put them in the cloud row. With all my buffs, they are a tad more valuable in the park or shipwreck bay.
All in all.... a precious and fun event!

I too :inlove::inlove: this event! I think the graphics as usual are great, and I loved finding the main field
all decked out and spooky today, too cute!:D I too would have liked a chance to get a 2nd set of givers but all in all, in the "Halloween Spirit" I like this event! Thanks to all involved in making it happen!;)

It has taken three days for me to grow enough candy crops to mill and now I have three treats and about forty-nine wrappers. A waste of time, especially considering that the character just pops up in a different part of the farm a few seconds later. I don't like the "raccoon witch" characters on my farm, especially standing in front of stables and trees and pumpkins that I need to click. I haven't even seen one of the two deer that appear and I like, since this started. Now, I signed in a few minutes ago and I just saw the candles and skulls and jack o' lanterns and the dark sky, etc. and I really think that should have been an optional feature. I don't like it at all and I hope it will go away after Monday. The Moonlight Madness every month is annoying enough but at least it is optional and does not disrupt everyday activities and the look of my farm.

You asked for feedback and I am just being honest.

    Nope.
    Not for me AT ALL.
Drop rate terrible. Time before bag givers appears is far too long, what is the point of unlocking the next one, if all that appears is the witch?
I unlocked the bat yesterday, I have seen 2 appear on my farm.... All the others have been the witch.
I have wasted 48h of harvest coupons on this event, I am not impressed.
Usually I enjoy events like this, but this one, far too many steps to complete, lack of both mills, and lack of inclination to continue.

All in all, I like this event. The graphics are great, the characters are cute, and I like the decorations that add every time you complete a level. I despise spiders, but this one is adorable, especially since she's purple:inlove:. I would agree with others that the characters do seem to take a bit too long to appear. Drop rates seem fairly good to me, not having any trouble keeping up with requirements thus far. Prizes are reasonable, tho I do prefer when we get more than 1 mystery stable or tree, but then I love the mystery gifts, so more is always better, lolxD. The only real negatives for me is the PF and the mill. As already stated, normally 44 power feed would seem like a lot, but with the back to back high requirement breeding events draining everyone of their supplies, plus not getting any PF rewards in the last event, it would have been nice to get a little extra this one. I don't like at all that we couldn't use the Baha mill to produce the event item, as this cuts further into our ability to try and rebuild our PF stocks thru milling.-.- And I agree wholeheartedly that it would have been nice to either receive an extra set of givers, or have the cloud row give CCs. Especially if the CR turns out to be the only way to get spins for the farm wheel in the future. Overall, a nice event with an easy (or at least doable) pace.:)
