Howie Donut can only be obtained via Barter and Gift Event. But When Bigpoint posted to say can not Longer get Howie Donuts from buying BB Bundles.

It has also been recently withdrawn from Renzo Fair Mini Game too. Perhaps they might introduce Howie Donut as a Reward in Near Future.

Alternatively to Boost Drop Rates is to place Your Longest Timed Animal Pens or Production Pens. Then uses Buffs to Reduce Growing Time of Animals and Production Pens.

It also helps to work on Crop Refinements on Main Farm, or use Tiki Timer on Veg Baha Crops. Or Use Alchemist Buffs to Reduce Crop Times. Anything that reduce Growing times helps you get Drops Sooner.

For Farmers who are Happy to use RL Money to have Gold or Diamond Premium Account Get 5% Better Drop Rate

So Far got 458 Sweet Wrappers but Waiting to Finish Milling Cat Feed so can mill some spooky sweets. Shame we cannot use Baha Mill to do this

I have jumped in late, but managed to plant a couple of fields, harvest, and replant - and according to my thermometer I have completed 13% of the quest. Not sure I'll making it to the end, but I'm hoping I can. I'm going to tear up a third field before work and plant that and see if I can't get through the required growing as fast as possible. Drops seem okay, but not great. Fingers crossed!

And am very pleased with the drops i am getting now ...have found out moving them ALL from field to field actually works and now have the grand sum of 310

 

Thanks everyone for your input and help here. I'm trying to get as much as I can done...short on time right now...doing a real grow and throw theme at least drops seem to be good.
I miss the gift boxes we use to get under the characters.

At the end of the first 24 hrs I have 483 drops( 8 were gifts) and almost 6,000 event crops so I am pleased The drop rate seems to be much better. So glad I read Mooboys post about the milling. I assumed we could use Baha mill I've been trying to get my PF up and still mill small amounts of regular animal feed in between each batch as I am to cheap to pay the prices for animal feed. Hope drops keep coming for everyone and have fun

 

At the one day stage I have had 520 drops so I am very happy with that, only 800 more needed now!
Crops going well - will finish with them tomorrow and move on to longer growing crops.
Really getting bored already with waiting for the spooky dudes to appear, then to click them once for one, two, or six Trick & Treats. Donation is simple though so I can't really complain ... much!

I have just 321 drops (whereof some were from neighbors--- thanks to you all!!), so level 8 is done. 4000 crops in the barn.
Will put out refined roses tonight as I have "only" 8500 crops to go... Should be possible until Monday.
Were the heck are you all getting these enormous drop rates from??
The highest I got from one field was 12 after initial harvest!!!

i don't know if I'm doing good or not, on this farm I have 4570 crops and 331 drops and on my other farm I have 4480 crops and 293 drops can someone tell me if that is good or not

 

@MARLYMAR currently you are too low on the 293 drop farm and just enough on the 331 farm, if this does not increase you will have trouble at the end of the event.

But this statement is dependent on several things. Did you do the first harvest of your longest crops just after event start and do you use your longest crop for the night? And do you use 1x1 fields for all this?

It can be tricky to just put a finger in the air to see where the wind will blow for you. If you did all the above it will be harder to finish for sure.

 

thank you MSB yes I did harvest my longest crop just after start of event and I am using 1x1s and I forgot to use my long crops last night but I will be sure to use them tonight

 

Someone else may have corrected this already, but this is really not true. The ratio of treat bags to sweets is the same for all. You get 1 bag for each 2 treats. The difference is that the higher level ones save on clicking. You get 12 fo6 or 10 for 10, instead of 1 for 2 as withe the witch.

I am at Level 14 so far. These Witches are slow to appear in our fields. I have to feed the Bat and Pumpkin to Speed Number the Number of Trick and Treat Bags needed to progress !!

So now have unlocked the Spider, so it feeding the Spider for rest of this Event for Me. Just 19 More Levels to Go.

Please Disregard my posting not to feed Bat or Pumpkin. As The Witches seems to be very Lazy to appear on our Screen.

 

Is it me or is waiting for them animals like waiting on the lotto?
I have had each field screen open 20min. on every field, cleaned/refreshed/cleared cashes/and logged right off/ turned the check mark on/off before and after to a full shut down. still nutt'in.
I don't like this event at all. and that's hard for me to say about a Halloween thing.
I got some critters but now just open plain fields.​

I wanted the CL, but at my drop rate on my good farm I won't make it and on ming, that one is getting even less critters.
I will grow the rest of the crops over half done, then go back to regular farming, hope to get a couple of the givers, ming needs all it can get.
Sad but so not worth all this.

I liked the old games were them critters popped all over quick but at least they showed up for the game. If this is a new way to sell baskets, so not working, just makes events something to not do.

ill be happy if I get all 3 givers I don't really care about the CR but id like to go as far as I can to get some of the other prizes and the critters do seem like they are taking forever but I noticed if you don't shut the critters off they come a little quicker

 

Do the wizards etc .....Only appear on the main field .... because I haven't seen them on any other of my fields

 

no Nellie_Noodles they should be appearing on all your fields at least on the 3 mainland farms I haven't checked on the baha fields yet lol I just checked my baha fields and didn't see any appearing

 

my drop rate sucks big time think ill plant carnations overnight.
