I had a couple of witches in my Park, didn't have the patience to wait to see if any appeared in the Shipwreck Harbour but who knows!

After two days, I have milled half of the spooky sweeties and will be finished with the crops at the next harvest (if I have calculated correctly lol!). Then I can change to long term crops to up the drop rate, in theory! I am pretty amazed to have got so far so quickly - I must have missed something, somewhere ...

Sorry, keep forgetting to thank MSB for the system of donating while keeping track of how many more crops/drops are required. I usually either donate willy nilly and get totally confused or wait till I have at least all the crops grown but then it is such a pain donating everything at the last minute. This way of milling a certain amount (in this case, one tenth of required drops/33 spooky sweeties) works for me - thanks for the tip!

 

Up to 34% on the slider, but drops have practically vanished. Luckily I have 4 more days.

 

Completed level 13...need to complete 20 more levels needing 10000 event crops and 800 drops....10374 crops and 86 drops in hand...will go for carnations planting from tonight...Hope to complete all remaining 20 levels in one attempt....4 more days to go...Good Luck

 

I can't remember having lights on the main field yesterday ...was i blind and a miracle has happened over night AND a spider in a web at the bottom on right hand corner ...am going to put a tree in front of it to hide it

They weren't there on mine either.

 

Do the candles appear after you get to a certain level in the event? That's what I figured.
Mine also arrived on my main field today.

At 61 %. Have limited access to net. May be I might come back to routine farming by late next week. What I most miss is the marketing. Can't stay in the game for long. Very very limited marketing.

I like what they did with the Halloween decos in the city they need to do that for Christmas decos too make it nite time with Christmas lights lit that would be really nice

 

Only thing i don't like about this event ....is the sticker being the first reward ...can't get out of getting it ...wish it had been put on level 33 ...then wouldn't have done that level

 

43% done at lvl 14 of the event!! All necessary crops in the barn and a few leftovers...got the 3rd giver.

On one hand I like the decorations, but it is hard to see your fields any more for hand harvesting.... *almost a blind cat now*.

Miracles happen... I got 18 drops from the main field, where I normally got only 12. Nothing done differently, as it was full with event crops... who knows.. has the halloween ghost stuck his finger into it to make things better? Or is it dependent on the progress?

uff... I can put out all my cats and elderberry trees and all the longtermers out from now. YEAH

I am a VERY happy Farmer now.

OT: I'm pottering around. Drop not being on my side, so debating if I should donate a bit to the trophies again. Am just as far as Clona, 43 % so not too bad, and I have plant my longest crop on main, evening/overnight crop/work-day crop on Meadow, trees and chickens (yet) in the Glade, parrots and trees + animals in rain and Still-not-decided in bahama. At least I have a plan. Now all I need to do is stray from it, mess up and bang my head in the keyboard - in other words business as usual in my neck of the woods. Oh and another good thing, I did a tree count on Bahama. Now I know what I got

I'm at 55% drops are good and the creatures are being friendly this morning - bought the cats and forgot to put them out - one more round of junk - hopefully I will remember

 

You can turn it on or off yourself if it bothers you. In your game settings set the 'Show snow' to off and the Haloween decoration is gone.

 

Thanks MSB... I think, I will leave it on as long as I can... I quite like the idea.
And christmas lights will be really nice too.

 

I have to agree wholeheartedly. With these old eyes the dark makes it much harder to see and navigate about the fields. I love the effect it provides, just think a shade or two lighter would be better. It's too dark right now.

@MSB, just read your post. THANKS! I'll do just that. I hate to as I like the themed background it provides. However it is much to dark to see properly for me.

absolutely, had to take off the shades to see that I didn't see a thing (joking aside, a touch brighter would have done the trick).
