2 harvests and I have 70 dog whistles and a dog that doesn't care or obey. 5+ days left, shouldn't be too hard this one. Could it be that BP got the rating right ? A medium difficulty means medium difficulty I'm flabbergasted

only a total of 49 drops so far.. I will definitely try 12ss12's suggestion of the comfort fields for next time; though, I was still trying to finish up the last event yesterday for the last item (cloud row piece)! maybe if I can get 85 per day, it will only take an extra day for me..

That is low, even this farm had more... What was on your farm for the first harvest at event start? Most likely not crops only. And what level is your Living Legend rune?

 

I don't have a living legend rune to my knowledge. I have a livestock trophy in my deco box because I thought it was only decoration, so I haven't used it.

 

the livestock and the corn trophy are items that increases the drop. The quests where you increase the percentage (getting an upgrade which must be placed over the original item) are called County Fair and Farming contest. Each upgrade offers an increase in the likelihood of drop. The items must be placed on the fields where you want the drop increased, and you can move them around as you harvest different fields. However it's advised that you give the item a little time to "set", or refresh for every move. If you want to avoid dragging them around you can donate them to the top-of-the-tree rune, and you lose the items but gain the advantage for all your fields.

The Trophies (Livestock one AND Crop one) both give a higher chance in drops. ALL drops!

So you can place it on your fields, some drag them around all the time. OR place them at the top of the Tree of Wisdom and then they work automaticly on all fields.

These Trophies are one of the most important items in the game to have. And each level you unlock in the Farmers Society you have to place ontop of the Trophies you already have to build them up.

"This concerns the Country Fair Trophy & the Farming Trophy.
This will allow you to have improved drop-rates on ALL your lands, and not just the land on which the Trophies are placed. You won't need to keep moving them around to have the benefits of extra drop items.
Once you've donated your 300 stars, you click on "Trade in Trophies" this will take you to your inventory (where you should have put back your actual trophies). You can then donate the trophies/upgrades that you have.
If you complete further steps of those Quests, you'll be able to add the additional upgrades by clicking on the rune again, and donating your new upgrade."

The Living Legend rune is all the way at the top of the Tree of Wisdom and costs 300 stars:



If you click on it you can donate your Trophies to it and later on add your further upgrades. It also tells you how much more drop chance you have. A maximum of 30% can be obtained with both Trophies at level 15.

Here I have donated a level 11 Crop Trophy and a level 10 Livestock Trophy:



For the Livestock Trophy you go to the Farmers Society and look for the quest called "Farming Contest"
For the Crop quest look for "Country Fair" (do not mix this up with another quest called County Fair)
Both should be at the bottom of the list.

 

90 drops so far, being 4 from gifts. But three farm fields to be harvested before going to bed (full with refined roses and event crop).
Rainforest has event crops and meadowgrass on comfort fields. baha full with event crops.
So it seems, the drop rate is not to bad after all the terrible drops needed in the last events.

For the moment it seems to be possible to get, what I want.

6 1/2 hrs into event and I have 99 drops, 5 of which were gifts. I spent from 11 to 3:30 with various drs appts so I just now replanted the seeds. Have 2 fields of Lilies and 1 of daffodils waiting to harvest in a couple of hrs so should get some nice drops from there (I hope)

 

My First harvest i got 87 Dog Whistles. I Grow Honeydew Melons and Rose Buds. Got 127 Dog Whistles. Some of them are Gifts Rest was what i Harvested since this Event Started.

So it seems the Drop Rate is Pretty Good to only need 400 Dog Whistles to Complete this Event.

180 Dog Whistles ..12ss12....No Wonder you used Comfort Fields on Long Timed Crops lol.

Any farmer who not got Living Legend Unlocked have to move your Crop and Animal Trophies Per Field Per Harvest. I know it a Pain until get Living Legend Rune unlocked. But Also need to upgrade this two Trophies when you can to boost Drop Rate.

I always plan my Farm ahead of Events to have good start to amount of Drops Needed.

 

I don't yet have the 300 stars needed to open that yet..
but I will try and find a place to put my 2 trophies ..

100 whistles for the first half of the day isn't bad at all considering I harvested 2 fields before the start of the event - in a sleep state thinking it was time.
So glad I don't have to drag those trophies and it makes a BIG difference - as well as proper planning.
I didn't believe that the trophies made a difference - I just put them in the park - but I tried it - and it seemed to help - dragging them around at least gave me the incentive to go for the LL rune.
Sure glad we don't have to mill anything for this event.

 

I am currently at 162 drops. It would have been more but for some reason I forgot to plant anything in the magical glade and shipwreck overnight. My overnight was 135 from 3 fields planting rose hips and honeydew.

from 21 jumbo trees i got 8 drops from the normal 21 . whats wrong with this picture. i had carnations planter on all main fields . hundreds of trees planted yet i only have 87 drops n 7 of them r from neighbors.

 

Is it Only 300 stars to open the Living legends now ?
