It's A Dog's Life Strategy

I have just under two (more manual) harvests before I finish with the junks and only need about 135 Dog Whistles - and I see the announcement for the Harvest Helper starting ... tomorrow!

Never mind, I will save my well earned BBs, hopefully adding to them, and use them for the next plant, water, harvest, repeat event! Will actually start donating tomorrow when I have a bit of time and can make sure I have everything I need.

whilst we know you farmers love to chat about anything and everything, can you at least try to stay on topic in the strategy threads?

 

Neon Everything on this thread is about the game and event..it's the only place we have of talking to each other about it...the thread is made by one of the players each event...so we see it as our page ...yes we go off topic.. but this thread has never ever been nasty
So Neon if you want to give me a warning for speaking off topic for this.. then please do so .... and i will gladly take it

 

Need 102 drops to complete the Event...Hope carnations and Honey Dews will serve the purpose

 

I'm milking the last few drops needed to finish the event out of my chickens and parrots. Manure sales are crazy good right now... so I'm loving the steady CC income while stocking my barn up with birds . I've got the CR set up and simmering... first 2 animals from the CR box were Ant Eaters

I'm about half way on both crops and drops, real life well daytime existences at least, has limited my farm life and sleep so taking things nice and slow. I should be right on track to finish the entire event Real or unreal life's interference

 

Moraine.... ever squeezed a chicken a little too tightly while holding it for whatever reason (meds, wormer, health check, nail trim, etc)? You get either an egg... or poop! And speaking from a poultry hobbyist experience you more often get poop than an egg lol

 

I don't say who's a good boy I say who's a good girl lol since mine are females I need 11 more drops on this farm to get the CR then I will try to get the party spins PF and and the other thing lol I forget what it is the one I need to get before I get the PF and on my other farm I need like 3 drops to get the CR

 

Finished growing the crops and need 60 drops to complete event. Yay!! CR up and got 2 elephants in first box Congrats on everyone's completion so far I just hope many are able to get all their whistles they need

 

Been busy the last 2 days with only time for 1 or 2 harvests a day and no forum time, so still need about 5000 crops yet, but back to regularly scheduled farming and estimate should be completely finished by tomorrow with those. Drops I only need less than 100, no worry there, there's always instant carnations if I'm feeling panicked, but with almost 4 days left, I don't foresee any problem in finishing. Congrats on the anteaters, GuineaUp! And congratulations to all those who have the CR up and producing, hope to join you soon!

 

The party spins have been good to me, yay, harvest bonus! Making the most of it so I have 1 field of carnations only for drops and lots of cats. The rest is for other projects until it runs out. Still enough time left for drops, but the crops are done. Good luck to everyone!

 

All finished with the event Whew, that went quicker than expected... kinda nice after the last few events dragging out to the very last day for me. I'm still milking those chickens and parrots for a while longer cuz the poop sales have been rather kind to my CC purse

I'm in the same position as you spots! Busy and having to do the best I can with harvest, currently needing about 5000 crops and 60 drops. Plenty of time to catch up though, so not worried.
Congrats on those finished and those getting nice animals from the box; makes me hopeful for good results!

 

CR up - Anteaters - now the extras

 

WOW! Congratulations GuineaUp, done already. A hearty well done to all who have their CRs up and giving.

The wife and I have our Cloud Rows up and running. Don't know about her, but my row gave me 2 Otters. Cute little fellas.

I need 4,300 crops and 75 Whistles to finish yet. Should be two more harvests and then I'll switch to Crop Squares.

I got both of mine done earlier I got fox on my other farm from the box and deer on this farm now I can work on getting the rest of the things in there

 

Just got the cloud row. Can't believe it...out of all the animals, fox was the only one I did not want...and that's the one I did get.

 

Crops done, just 48 drops required and they should fall from the sky by tomorrow. Farm back to Cats and comfy fields on Baha until the next growing event! Phew, that was a really relaxed (note I didn't say easy!) event. We were able to see in advance what would be required and make calculations according to each of our RL responsibilities!

Now if I could just remember to put my secret stuff out tomorrow!

Edit: Forgot to say, I didn't even use my 12 hour (immediate) machinery yet so I am saving that for Monday or Tuesday.

 

My crops will be done after this next harvest but still have a ways to go on drops.... working 12 hour days while planting these event crops is not how to get good drops. I will be able to work on my drops after this mornings harvest. Still over 70 hours left of the event so no worries here!
