Deleted posts Strategy thread

Why have my posts been deleted?

As far as I know is 'how to play the game' part of Strategy to finish events.
As far as I know all my post had relevant info in them.

As far as I know no one got hurt in the thread.

So why is there a need to delete posts? Certainly after days and with no one complaining about it.

Why is there a delete need?
Why spend your time on it? Is there no other pressing matter to handle.

I started the thread, I did not care for deleting anything.

Why does it matter if it goes off-topic at all?
Why are we not let free to post game related. As all game related post, even if it is not about the current event, are strategic.
How to play a part of the game is strategic and it is the strategy part of the forum.

My posts also contained on-topic content, as did the other postings that got deleted. Not all but several did.
According to your own rules these should have been edited to remove the off-topic content and leve the rest. Why was this not done?

Why do you mods even care if there is no shouting/flaming/rudeness/etc.

 

There are several sections for off topic content if it does not relate to the Strategy thread. If players could post anything wherever they liked, what would be the point of having the different Sections The Sections are there to keep the posts assigned to their respective content to make it easier to find what topic you are searching for.

Of course I do agree that a thread needs to be more on-topic for a strategy thread, but only if it would be considered a long term thread. This involves just an event strategy thread that is only active for a week or so and then gets trashed anyway.
So why invest all your precious time in modding such a thread?

And as said, how to play the game also is a needed strategy to be able to finish events. So most content was on-topic, because without a basic understanding of the game one would not be able to finish an event. A Living Legend rune for example is a fundamental strategy to play to do events. But it is not directly linked to this events strategy.

Saying what you got or when you finished the event is all not strategy based, neither is encouraging people, so this is all deemed not need?

So again, why bother and why delete it? Even if it is not directly talking about the Doggy event it still is needed for the event.

So you are basicly saying that we need to open event strategy threads in the Chit Chat section so we can talk about it however we want? Because that is what I (we) want, chit chat about game related content. The event is game related and all the things like Living Legends are game related etc etc.

Strategy threads are there to give players and newbies varying ways to help with the event. Topics other than that belong in other threads, so yes if you want to talk about what seedling you got from another avenue , they belong in the appropriate section of chit chat. There are already threads like Event Strategies and Plant Refinements that Newbies can be directed to for further reading.
I might remind you to review the Strategy Guidelines. which I believe, we are more than lenient when following these rules.

Yes please, could you answer the questions I asked? And I have several more.

You know I am not talking about seedlings etc from other avenues. But they are not strategy.

Encouraging is not strategy. Is this allowed in an event strategy thread?
Naming your won prizes is not strategy. Is this allowed in an event strategy thread?
Talking about how to obtain an object of interest in a general strategic way, say a Living Legend. Is this allowed in an event strategy thread?
Asking fellow players what a CAC is. Is this allowed in an event strategy thread?
Congratulating players for finishing an event. Is this allowed in an event strategy thread?

Players are not happy with how things are at the moment and are discouraged by the moderations to not post anymore. Rules are set by you as moderator team and can be adjusted as needed. The rules are unneccesairily difficult for us and you as moderator to keep in hand.

Can the rules be changed?

 

No posts were deleted that offered any help, advice or encouragement regarding the Dog's Life Strategy.
It is each player's responsibility to read each section's guidelines and to follow them. We are more than lenient when it comes to most of these rules and try to help keep things on track and civilized.
I am sorry that any player feels discouraged to post because of the actions taken by any of the Moderator Team, The rules are set by BP, so it is not up to us to change the rules, only ensure they are followed.

I am sorry, but if you have problems with the decisions made, you are advised to contact the Customer Care Team for resolution.

Yes please, could you answer the questions I asked? See below quotes of them. Because these are simple questions that are related here and I would like some clarification on them please. As I seemingly do not understand what is allowed and what not.

The rules set by BP are not as strict as you use them, look at the German forum for example. On their forum things are done differently. So the moderators have a certain freedom. As the same rules apply to them.

 

These rules were put in place as a guideline to follow. We are not the DE Forum or the NL Forum and must follow the rules we were given.
As a frequenter of both, you know this already

1)No post was deleted offering any encouragement to fellow players.
2) No post was deleted that talked about the winnings of prizes from the Dog Event.
3) No post was deleted that referred to the Trophies/Living Legend Rune
4) No post was deleted that answered how to obtain an CAC
5) No posts were deleted containing congratulations for finishing the event.

All of these would have been fine to stay. Most of the posts were talking about stables won from seedling from FSQ's and did not belong in the Strategy thread, but could have been posted in Game chit chat.

As a well known of several and indepth I know these rules are set up by the team and accordingly posted as such and not posted by the Community Manager. They are spoken out by the team as written here https://board-en.farmerama.com/inde...ion-section-please-read-before-posting.10484/

And a guideline is something else than set in stone. And there is a need for this as it happens every single time.

Furthermore, I have not talked about any seedling or stables won in the FSQ, as far as I know. So 4 of my posts are missing for whatever reason you make of it but it is probably not that.

No post was deleted is not the same as 'Yes that is allowed', please clarify. Thanks for all your time.

 

As stated in the guidelines

they posts were off topic and therefore deleted. Prior warning was given to remain on topic, players chose to ignore this warning.
