Time To Celebrate!

This may have already been suggested.
How about a Time to Celebrate section for each event. (The title is open for suggestions.)

I enjoy seeing how everyone who had success did. Some people feel great just getting the sticker. Newer farmers would like to celebrate their efforts, or even the fact that they got to participate. I also have hope, when seeing farmers finish so quickly, that I too may one day be able to do this.

There are also not so good days for most people, me included, when we do not want to celebrate or even see how well everyone did. I scroll past sometimes, or just wait until my head clears and then go back.

It would be great if it could be near the event strategy section. and opened by a Mod. with each event.

I started this thread on my birthday, in a celebrating mood that day.
Not now.
This would be a total waste of space. There will be few farmers celebrating the latest event. Picture Perfect does not live up to its name.

You already can do this. Game accomplishments can be posted in Chitchat, other things in Gabfest. However, those threads tend to slide down because (with a few exceptions) once the particular event is over, they don't get a lot of addition... and nowadays, any diversion from the "topic" tends to be taken as negative by the owners of Farmerama.

If you want a more general thread.. just create it in Gabfest.

 

Thanks woody, this is my first on line game and first forum. I spent a lot of time reading, FAQ's to learn the game, and all the Farmer interaction sights. I do not have an outgoing personality. It took me a long time to post anything. Rising age, declining health and shrinking memory make interacting spotty at best for me. It was only the friendly nature of so many wonderful chatty people that drew me into a few conversations.

You are absolutely right though... there are places all over the forum(s) where celebrating is happening, some even in Feedback.

There was so much tension at that time and it seemed to be centered around celebrating. I did not want people to leave this forum. It took my daughter hours of helping me, to become comfortable here. I am not up to learning a new forum.

 

joanc123 it's all good you can say what you feel, this game will drive you nut's, if something has been posted before so what, most of the time you will find many farmer's are saying the same thing, problem is they won't make changes until people get nut's
