@Elemeef Sorry to hear about your cousin! How awful. Hope the leg heals soon.
(I've had a broken leg, know what it's like.)

Not sure about a kind mod - but I'm happy to oblige.

I have great memories of my time in NZ.
I did a one-week trip in the South Island and stopped one day in Kaikoura.
    I took this beautiful pic

Hi sending out my Prays to all the families living in and around the quake area. It is
such a beautiful area. We had a lovely visit there about a couple of years back.
You hate to see such beauty destroyed. Just all stay safe.

    8) Esca! What a stunningly beautiful photo - taken at just the right moment of sun on water!! The water almost glows!! Thank you so much for posting it.:inlove:

Such a relief to hear you found your family, elemeef, and that they are all o.k......except for your cousin's leg, of course! Please tell her we send her our sympathies and hugs, and hope she heals quickly!
We really appreciate hearing from you!!:inlove:

P.S. This may be a silly question, but...Did the cows get rescued...or are they still stranded?

8)o_Ooooooo, elemeef, your description made chills go up/down my spine!! o_O Hope it doesn't mean more quakes!!
Maybe the animals are just shocked and have taken refuge?!

A Kaikoura farmer has told Newshub he rescued his now world-famous cows with pick and shovel after they became stranded on a quake-made island.
Two beef cows and a calf became worldwide sensations after their predicament was filmed by Newshub following the devastating magnitude-7.5 quake centred near Culverden on Monday.
The farmer said the three cows were part of a larger group of 14 they rescued from the property, which was relatively flat before the earthquake.
    Yes farmlily, They got rescued!!!!

8)Thank you Intrepideur. I wanted to be sure that everyone had the news - and some only visit chat, or gabfest - so I posted in both. Now that most are aware of this tragedy, this is the good and proper solution...so, thank you again.

Thank you, also, David, for letting us know about the cows!!:D
BTW, your NZ news channel announced that - although previously announced at 7.4-7.8 - the quake had been officially confirmed at 7.8. (It must have been while you were sleeping! Lol!)

Sincere hopes and prayers that there are NO more big ones, and that any more aftershocks are tiny!!
