    Hello everyone !!
In this thread we will ask each other some mind tricking questions and the others have to answer it.;)
    Let's get started,
Once a boy having money 15$ went to a shop, the shopkeeper gave him an offer. The offer was that each chocolate prize is 3$ and if he(the boy)gave him 3 rappers ,he(shopkeeper)then give him 1 extra chocolate. How many chocolates would the boy get for 15$?:p

I'm thinking 6 because I don't think you can use the last 3 wrappers unless you buy a choc.

    6. 5 chocolates from the $15 and 1 chocolate from the 5 wrappers (he will have 2 leftover) Now if he ate the one free chocolate, he would be able to add that wrapper to his 2 leftover and get another chocolate so I guess now it would be 7 chocolates. (that last bit came to me as I was writing my answer and I didn't feel like starting over....lazy:p:pxD) So 7 would be my answer

Of course he ate the free chocolate. He had to eat the others too in order to turn in the wrappers. Besides, who can resist chocolate? :p

I'm holding to 6. The question is how much would he get for his $15. So he would get 6. After consuming the free chocolate he could then trade in the last three wrappers for another chocolate prize, but that's after the initial purchase. So sticking with 6.

Based on your logic sirpippin, he could only buy 5 with his $15. Then he would need to eat the chocolates to get the wrappers for a free one. (As I was going to St. Ives..... :p )

Yes. All obtained from the original..... Never mind.

He would only get 5 chocolates. The question asks how many does he get for his $15. Then clouds the issue with an offer. True, thinking it through he will eventually end up with 7. However, he can only get 5 with his initial monies.

Here's how I see this. He would purchase five for $15.00 and he would eat three and get an extra. But feeling full, he would not be able to eat any more. So he would peel off the wrappers off the three he now had and stick them in his pocket. The shopkeeper would give him his seventh chocolate and fortunately, this one is still wrapped. The three unwrapped in his pocket would melt into an oogy-googy mess and would still be there when his Mum (Mom) went to do the washing later on. The chocolate would end up blocking the filter in the clothes-washer and the pump would over-heat. As the machine was in an empty apartment - Dad at work, Mum out restocking the family supplies and the kid(s) all at school (or wagging.... over-stimulated from the sugar rush) - the apartment building catches fire!
The boy who didn't go to school, spent his time pushing the cross-walk buttons constantly and triggered a malfunction of the traffic lights just as the fire department ladder truck driver thought he had a green, causing a collision with a concrete truck whose load spilled down into a drain.....

(some-one else to continue, please !?!)

Here's one: A bat and a ball cost $1.10. The bat costs one dollar more than the ball. How much does the ball cost?

You all are too smart ;) The ball costs 5 cents and the bat costs — at a dollar more — $1.05 for a grand total of $1.10.

There should be a rule added to this game. He/she who solves it correctly adds a riddle or puzzle of their own.
    These are fun. Thanks Hopy14.

You are grilling steaks for Genghis Khan. Your little grill can broil two steaks at a time, but Genghis is hungry and wants three. That's a problem: It takes 4 minutes to grill each side of a steak, so you'll spend 8 minutes grilling the first two steaks, then another 8 grilling the third. Sixteen minutes is a long time to keep a warlord waiting.
How can you improve your time while still cooking the steaks thoroughly? Genghis really likes his steak well done...

    First 4 minutes
    Side 1 on steaks A and B
    Second 4 minutes
Side 2 on steak A and Side 1 on steak C
    Third 4 minutes
    Side 2 on steaks B and C
    12 minutes.

    In other words,
Put two steaks on the grill. After 4 minutes, flip one and replace the other with an uncooked steak. At the 8-minute mark you’ll have one
well-done steak and can finish cooking the two half-done ones that remain. Total cooking time: 12 minutes.

I am very brilliant am I not ? [IMG] No ! No ! no one should leak out the info from where I took the answer.xD

But the best answer would be to buy him 3 streaks from a nearby shop. If you still stick on the cooking part, all right go to the shop which has started cooking the streaks and bring them to him. :D

Ah, but don't you have to let the steaks rest for a while before serving? :p
