I have finally mono-planted - all 5 fields yellow callas on 1x1's for the night I will use the harvester but no CAC just PJ - since the drops are only from the event junks - masses of plantings are needed for the drops - I don't need to get the junk numbers quickly
I have only 75 silver dew now (12 from gifts) but the day was spent juggling 1X2's and the various colored (timed) junks - like Julie here there and everywhere - but I will be on track for tomorrow - mono-planting on 1x1's will make life easier and hopefully the drops better.

I don't know oldman ...but wish more would come my way...so far have 58 drops xD I could be here to next christmas getting them
Seems everyone in is same boat with the drop rate
It is bad considering we have three different crops... which only these drops come from
Howie Donuts aren't helping ...finishing the LL isn't helping and harvesting them on time isn't
Wasn't going to do this event ...wish i hadn't xD

I don't think I can do anything good with this event. 26 hours in and I'm well under the 150 drops a day needed to complete the cloud row. I only have 119 drops and that's with using supergrow and fertilizer - and I can't keep the fertilizer up because there's none for sale in the market. Unless the drop rate improves drastically there's nothing I can do to get the cloud row. I'm level 98 and have full trophies and 4 Howies which I've been moving around....still very low on drops. I had all comfort fields overnight so that should have netted maximum drops for the space as it minimised wasted time.

The event items aren't worth it for me as I have the park and Shipwreck Bay completely full already. I could swap some things out and have a couple of hundred extra EP per day and a couple of extra unwanted items clogging up my inventory....not worth it. The first stages of each bit don't give tempting awards at all for the amount of donations. I'll probably use what I've grown already to get the party tickets and maybe supergrow.

    8) What has happened to all our Poo sellers?? The markets for this farm and another farm are consistently at -0-!!! This may just make the difference in whether or not enough harvests can be made to get enough crops!!
Is this because so many high level players and others are leaving???o_O

Nah, it's because of a high level of participation in the Event. Demand exceeds produce.

Hi I hope BP knows that they are going to have to pay a lot of EP,TEP and CC because
of all the extra event crops we will have to grow in order to get 900 silverdew

Almost all needed cyan callas grown. Cyan room done.
Magenta out on comfort fields and yellow callas on small side strips.
More than half of all callas needed are grown already. Had them yesterday night and the whole day on comfort fields only.
drop rate is miserable so to get them all, I will have to grow loads of extras.
How can the drop rate be set THAT low and the whole event still classed as "medium"?
I will stilll try to finish.

    Good luck everybody

Now that I have more than enough of the yellow for the cloud row and over half way with the drops, I will try the comfort fields using 2 x 2 plots and super grow and see how that works and how it changes the drop ratio. Patience is a virtue and we all know from past experience that drops don't really increase until we get towards the end of an event. Somehow it always seems utterly impossible to get drops..... then suddenly..... they come and I almost always end up with more than necessary.

Dear Journal: day 3 of the Great Harvest Hoedown expedition finds many native farmers in a pensive pickle. It seems they all boarded the same leaky boat for a trip up the creek, but no one has a paddle. Farmers shake their crops desperately hoping for enough of the elusive "drops" to reach the clouds, experimenting with different combinations and growing times, searching under every rock and in each nook and cranny of their barns, alas to no avail - the pesky things remain in absentia. I myself find I have a mere 200 silvery dews, but console myself with the thought that I have a rainbow barn full of beautiful calla lilies, only needing one more harvest of magenta to reach the rafters. I feel a blue period coming on, tho, and think I shall plant my fields in cyan for the duration of the day, or until I hit 6000, whichever happens first. Once I'm over my blues, I'm sure I'll be in a yellow frame of mind until the end of the event. In a few hours I'll cruise off to Baha to shake some magic trees, the only sure source of drops I know of. Heaven knows beating any other tree is fruitless this time around, and only serves to hurt the tree's feelings. Perhaps I should give them some hugs while I'm there, to mollify for past and future insults... For now I shall tend to my fields, and continue to hoe those rows, tough tho they be. Who knows, perhaps the current drought will end and dew will rain from the sky (note to self: speak to tiki monkeys about performing dew dance).

Right under the rainbow room picture frame is a gold trophy cup. Click on it and it will take you to the leader board. It is a bit misleading because it says 'locked'. That just means that you cannot donate to the Top 1000 until you complete the rainbow room but you can still see the leader board. Check it out! You will find a lot of names you know;)
