Picture Perfect strategy

almost everybody is complaining about the low drop rate.
And I think (but don't know) that the animal trophy is not helping with it, as the dops are ONLY coming from the event plants.
So if you have the crop troghy as well take this one with you from field do field, which eventually could help with the drops. But again, not sure.

Both the crop and animal trophy improve drops such as tools, artisan crafting supplies, and event drops. Just be sure you move them to each field prior to harvesting in order to get their benefit.

That being said, even with full trophies (30%), the drop rate is low and will require continuing to grow the event crop long after you have gotten what you need for the event.

 

Thank you guys. I have the trophy at 29% on the Wisdom tree. I will have to keep trying to grow event crops, but I don't think I can grow enough to make up 720 in the time left.

I agree. But having gone more than halfway with less than half the required, it seems impossible. Unless I lose sleep...

 

I think most of the players are sailing in the same boat - no sufficient drops. Yellow calla gives most drops. But even that is not enough.

 

I am using 1x1's in all my fields except for a few trees here and there that I always leave in. What size plots are you guys using?

 

Have got all the crops ...am only growing the crops for the drops now...have got another 367 to get...am using 1x1s... with 4 howies

Well, here's a real Newbie mistake I made when I was one......I had a bunch of Howie's - and traded all but one, because back then I didn't realize their full value!! Have done a lot of 'kicking' since! (Really hard to reach back there, too! LOL!)

I too have 4 howies. Got it from Renzo & G&T. Try to get it Julie in next G&T.

I have to get 454 drops yet. Seems the drop is treating every one equally .

What I plan to do for drops is

As of now I can make 9 silver paper per harvest of yellow calla and I harvest twice a day. I have to change that strategy tomorrow if I wish to finish this event.

Use comfort fields of yellow calla with water and manure - it takes 17:17 hrs to mature & gives thrice as much as drops. I have some super grows and I intend to use them on comfort fields with White Innocence and Fruit Cake buffs. I intend to try this out tomorrow evening when I am back from work. I will let you know how I fare then.

If you grow overnight, then place the comfort field with yellow calla so that you can harvest it in the morning after 17:17 hrs. In the morning you can do the routine planting. Or try other callas in comfort field overnight. I have not tried this so far. May do it tomorrow and see.

I need 378 more drops on this farm I haven't checked my other farm yet I sure hope I can get them but idk

 

I need 384 more drops on this farm and my daughter needs 396 and 456 on her two farms seems undoable but I hope it can be done all I can do is follow 12ss12 strategy and pray

 

This event is the first for ages that they got the algorisms sooo wrong... drops were nowhere near close enough to the amount of useless crops to be grown...

 

I went and switched ALLLLL my fields to CF and 1x1s hopefully it will help following 12ss12's advise

 

My Strategy is working as i am ahead of Schedule to get 900 Silverdew to unlock Cloud Row as I have already unlock Cyan, Magenta,Yellow and Rainbow Room

I am not even using my 4 Howie Donuts i have it my Barn. I do not think they will make much of a difference.

I only need to get 142 Silverdew to Achieve 900 Silverdew to Complete All Five Rooms. The Reason why i am doing so well is that i am using All Five Fields with CAC Running.
The CAC does not Boost Your Drops !!

It is the Constant Reaping of All Five 1 x 1 Fields has i have been alternating Growing of Cyan, Magenta and Yellow Calla Crops. It The Frequency of me Reaping my Fields that seem to be doing the Trick.

The Event should be set to Hard. You should prevent your Fields being Idle when they are ready to be Harvested. This is main reason why many of you are struggling with Drops.

Those of you using Comfort Fields does help boost drops but the downside of Comfort Fields is Frequency of reaping of Event Crops. You will be needing a Fair Stock of Supergrow to Make up for the Shortfall of Silverdew. I Pray of Hope it makes a difference but in my view you need five fields of Comfort Fields to get those remaining Silverdew.

This is not the only option unless you are prepare to Buy Baskets in the Store which does include a bundle of Silverdew or prepare to Spend BB to buy Silverdew Bundles from the Store. I Hope you do not come to this option. If Those of you have left Trees or Stables or Production in your Fields they do not reap you any silverdew. They are a burden that prevents you getting good drops of Silverdew.

Have just put in a field of comfort fields ...if my maths are right ...i should then finish all the drops ...but i could be dreaming on that
