Announcement "Learn and Grow Malala Charity Fund + Event

Hello Farmers,

In 2016, many people on the planet still don’t have access to education, clean water and electricity; fundamentals that should be basic human rights and that most of us take for granted. In an attempt to help alleviate the difficulties that many across the world face, Farmerama is teaming up with Malala Fund to help every girl get a safe, quality education.

Inspired by co-founders Malala and Ziauddin Yousafzai, Malala Fund's goal is to enable girls to complete 12 years of safe, quality education so that they can achieve their potential and be positive change-makers in their families and communities. Malala Fund works with partners all over the world helping to empower girls and amplify their voices; invests in local education leaders and programs; and advocates for more resources for education and safe schools for every child.

We know that our Farmerama community is full of compassion and willing to support positive change in the world. Previous campaigns have already brought clean water to thousands of people in Ethiopia and Kenya, plus 11 communities in disaster-affected areas of Nepal.
From 24th November until 9th December, all revenue generated from the “Learn and Grow” event, as well as the fundraising campaign mentioned below, will be going to the organization to support girls’ education around the globe. In addition to that, throughout the event, Bigpoint will cover all charges pertaining to transactions and affiliation costs.

Howdy Farmers,

The "For Science" decorative item is awarding EP no matter which field it is placed. This should not happen: if placed on Shipwreck Bay or the Tropical fields, it should award TEP. The Team are working to fix this and we will update when we have news.
