Level 100, done with the crops, but only 46 silver papers made from drops. Not a happy farmer.

Having the same issue. I've completed everything and have hundreds of crops left over but am short hundreds of silverdew. The sad thing is, not only can you not contribute to the top 3000, you can't even get the last giver for your event row. That's sure gonna be a hot commodity in G&T!!

I sincerely hope BP does something to make up for this useless, money grabbing event. I am running two farms, with machinery and am considering pulling the plug on everything. Too bad.

Drops from Event Crops only: A lot of complaints about getting drops from Event Crops only but I don't think that that was the real problem. I admit that after I have enough Event Crops I like to use the time to replenish the crops in my inventory but the fact that this game was different was okay with me.

The problem I had with this game is that I have 3 farms and all 3 failed to complete the first 5 rooms. They all needed approximately 50 Silver Photos (300 drops) in order to complete the rooms. I experimented with different crops on my farms and it didn't matter what size field or what I planted Pink, Blue or Yellow I still received the same amount drops. I would get enough to make 2 Silver Photos and then the next harvest there would be enough for 2 and then the next it was back to 2.

There was a comment in the forum before about people who need to see the future. If this was considered advertising for the next event (charity - pay to play) you can keep it. Live in the present.

Anyway on a good note your graphics were great as usual.

People complaining that they had 100's of crops left over -- I had 1000's of crops left over and still short on Silverdews. With the number of complaints I really think you should consider giving the EP's or Cloud Row as a reward for an upcoming event. There seem to be quite a few angry people who will not be willing to buy them in future sales.

This is the worst event I have ever attempted. Pretty graphics cannot make up for:
    • extremely low drop rate
    • drops from event plants only
    • requiring huge amounts of extra event crops being harvested endlessly in an attempt to get more drops
    • a cloud row earned before the final giver, which many (including me) will not be able to get
    • and worst of all - the obvious ploy to get people to spend real money to get the job done
I have a busy real life and cannot stay up all night working on event crops for drops. And I will not spend money on an event that seems deliberately structured as pay to win. While I congratulate all who have been able to finish, or at least get the CR, completing this event just isn't worth it to me.

    Extremely disappointed!

Seriously BP. You have drops that concur with event crops only. If that is the case, and one has grown all needed event plants, then one should have enough drops to meet that requirement as well. As that certainly is NOT the case (not even close! Drop rate is horrendous!) you either need to refrain from having drops dependent on event crops only or fix your algorithym.

I am very displeased! Bp does NOT learn, how many times have players tried to get you to listen? I've been playing this game for over 6 years and this is the worst event in a few years I think it even has socceritis beat!!! BP needs to compensate all of us, this event was very unfair, was very deceptive ( ie labeled medium when it should have been labeled very hard,) in the past when there was outcry from so many about drop rate BP either fixed it or ran a script to compensate... this time we hear silence. Bad move bp! then another pay to win right on the heels of this falsely advertised event... um NOPE not getting a single penny for either one from me, I am aware of the cause for next event but I'll not be manipulated by a greedy game company to sink my money into it. (key word there is manipulated. )
I have spent some money in the past, but I'm thinking the way things are going Not again regardless the cause or how worthy I believe it is I will not be used to donate through a company that seems not to care about their base customers.

Accordingly to very negative feedback from dissapointed players (myself included), maybe the next challenge may play the BigPoint crew among themselves alone...
I am sure they will have immense fun...

Since the drop items only come from growing event crops, logic would dictate that the drop rate would have been set so that when you grew all of the event crops, you would have enough drop items to complete all the levels. That's not how it worked for this event. Even after growing thousands of extra event crops, its possible to still not have enough drop items to complete all the levels of the event.

Also, knowing that lots of players don't care about the stickers, it would have been nice if the sticker had been in an optional room instead of necessary to get to the last item and the cloud row.

    Not a well planned event.

This was the Toughest Event i ever played. But I was fortunate to have Good Strategy Plan to use All Five Fields of 1 x 1

I alternated Planting of Three Coloured Calla Crops. I Completed this Event on 5th Day. It was so important to to leave your Farm Idle during this Event as Silverdew can only be reaped by Growing Cyan, Magenta and Yellow Calla.

I grew too many Calla donated them all into Top 1000 which is no problem for me. As i like to have a Challenging Event saves me from getting Bored.

At Least I have won some good prizes from it. I have also Won a Place in Top 1000 too. But you need to prepare your farm for the Whole year for this Kind of Event if Gunning for Top 1000

I am sorry to hear many did not like this Event at All it an Yearly Event Hoedown Festival those do done this kind of event knows partly what it takes to complete but those drops of Silverdew should have been lessor amount !!

I also finished in the 5th day of this event as I have the same strategy as Mooboy. It was a great relief to finish bc then I didn't have to harvest the same thing...again. o_Oo_Oo_O I can understand BP wanting to give us different challenges. Being able to get the drops from growing just the event crops didn't bother me. But the drop rate should have been considered better. This wasn't fair to the many players who didn't have the time to harvest as it needed to be harvested:(:(

Very disappointed in this event. After finishing the number of required crops I was still 300 short on the drops. I had over-produce 5800+ of the Yellow Calla and I only got enough of the drops with 3 hours left on the clock.

I feel like a 2 year old put this event together...very poor balancing. The crop-to-drop ratio should be about even...not totally one sided.

I'm now planning on sitting out the part 2 of the back to back events due to the frustrations from this one. Also it's bad to have these events on a big American holiday.

As other people have said, this was a very poorly balanced event. I lost a day of it and had no chance of making up the drops, so I didn't finish. Anyone who didn't have very regular access to log in would have struggled.

8)I have to say that I am very upset by this event. The low drop rate prevented me from getting the last giver item for the cloud row - AND kept me from entering the Top 1000!! Even buying a basket would not have made up the shortfall, as it would have taken 5 1/2 (=6!!) of the largest one to do it!!!
I had over 650,000,000+++ to donate, and still leave my farm intact.
Needless to say, I do feel very cheated. This may be the first and last Top 1000 that I would have or will now attempt.-.--.-
This was a completely disgraceful event on BP's part, and it should have never been tied to the annual HH/Top 1000 !! As was already said by others - shame on you, BP!

Low drop rate left me feeling deceived and disappointed. Players above have summed up my opinion of this event.

It's poor timing to gain support for a charity event after alienating so many players in the previous week. Very poor planning.

Agree that you should have enough Drops once all Event Crops have been harvested -- not just for this event but for all of them.
