Picture Perfect strategy

Not going to finish this one on either farm. Part of the blame is my current difficulties with my connection, but I have serious doubts I could finish completely even if had been able to get on whenever I wanted. Agree 110%, drops were worst I think I've ever seen, especially considering we were so limited in how we could get them. However, not going to stress, I got all the givers here and hoping to finish up with what's still needed on bear tonight with last one, but won't get CR. It's a nice enough CR, but not a heartbreaker if I don't get it. Still need 42 silver papers, meaning 252 drops, and I just don't see that happening. Congrats to all those who finished, tho! Hats off to your determination and skill!

Need another 48 drops to make 8 silver papers and getting them in the next harvest is highly unlikely...have changed to the blue event crop to take less time and hopefully get more harvests in to see if that will help
If we harvest drops as they finish ..it is suppose to help drops ...this would probably be true if we didn't have Lag in the game...which i for one is having

I don't want to see another piece of of silver paper for years ...am getting so fed up with making it tizz so boring

 

My three cute givers will be sitting on the tropical islands, unless the Drop Fairy sprinkles my 5 fields with Magic Dew Dust.
spotsbox, my computer works just fine and I still need 23 silver papers to get to the clouds. The up side is I get to see these givers more often. Although, instead of watching Calla grow, I go up to watch the puppies and kitties play.
Congratulations to all who attempted this not so medium event!!! Way to go to all you talented farmers who finished!!!

 

Knowing that the drops came from event crops only, I waited too long to pull my trees, my bad. The drop rate was consistent for what I have gotten on past event crops. I didn't notice anything lower, however, since they only came from event crops, and the highest time crop was 6 hours, the drop rate was pathetically low for an event. If I hadn't used comfort fields with SG, which I had plenty of, I could not have completed the event. I barely squeaked by.

 

yes I believe I'm going to get finished on this farm I really didn't think I was going to but I kept at it and I really think I'm going to be able to finish I just finished on my bmcfall farm too yes doing the happy dance don't give up I was way behind on drops but I didn't give up

 

I'm planting the event plant right down to the bitter end and used extras to increase my EP so as to increase the drop rate. I got up at night and harvested. However, I don't see how I can finish the quest given the numbers of drop items I have. I regret not quitting the event a few days ago. The prize wasn't good enough to warrant any undue effort.

 

how many more do you need? did you put in the sos thread?

 

There is no way I can finish this event, either...and the frustration is great when you get everything - and then cannot get the last giver for the cloud row...just because the drops were almost non-existent!!!
And it certainly wasn't for not trying!! When I read all these posts, and how everyone has tried soooo hard....it really makes me upset with the people who decided to do this rip-off!

Increasing EP will NOT increase the drop rate. The only thing you can do if you don't have Howies to move around is to speed up your crops to get more harvests. Also, it appears that the drop rate is about the same on cyan (blue) as it is on yellow even though yellow takes twice as long so plant blue for more turnover.

need 24 drops to get 4 silver papers

 

youll get it lennon_2011 needs 36 drops for 6 silver paper and I know she will get it at least 1 maybe 2 more harvests to get it plenty of time for that

I'm undecided whether to get the CR. I won't make the last giver, so is there any point giving away 50,000 in moonlight crops?

 

You can donate regular crops for that step too. It takes 27 Parrot feathers. (Your own math for other products.) I wouldn't donate MM stuff. You can always hope to get the last giver during G&T or you can go for the giver and skip the CR if you have enough. Then you could make a trade for something else with your "in demand" giver item.

Ever consider those of us who have to work?! 3 hrs left still need 60 silver papers.. I'm sooooo over this, games are supposed to be fun not stressful!!! I am tempted to send the powers that be who seem to never consider us, the universal sign of friendship.

 

Thanks Noelle20001. I decided to get it, as you say, I may get the giver another time. I didn't have enough to fill the 100 paper side.

 

I gave up early and planted some much needed crops. YaY! for that. My only mistake was to get the sticker...thinking it was the third giver. So got the cr, then discovered I only had 2 givers. Then I was soooo far behind growing fields of useless crops. Glad I stopped when I did, and I really like the 2 givers that I have.
