how to make money ?

 

From what I understood many years ago, when this type of thread was commonplace, was that crops like lettuce, carrots and wheat gave the best time/space/reward. For me, it's tree produce that gives the best profit return, since once the initial purchase of the tree is made, you have no further outlay and can get 4 x produce/single square every day. I don't tend to grow crops, and buy what I need for animal feed, however, crops only give 1 extra per single square, but quick growing crops mean you don't have to wait until the following day - just ensure they are relatively cheap and in smaller quantities and usually they go quickly.

 

This question isn't as simple as it seems as there are always many factors to consider. Without considering every factor, the factor that matters most is time. Do you want to be actively playing, or can you only check the farm every X hours?

If you're actively playing the best crop is typically Carrots. Lettuce and Wheat are also good crops for the 10 minute or less mark. If you're looking for something a bit longer Oats, Sunflowers, Hay, Sorghum, and Corn are also higher profits per time grown.

 

Hello, I followed the 'rules' (so to speak) given in an article here on the forum called Making Money: A Guide for Beginners. It is an excellent article. And within two weeks, I had over one million.

I hover between three and four generally in my more profitable farm and between one and two in my other farm. I have had as much as 12 million though, and that's all by using the guidelines put forth in this article I mentioned on this forum.
