I haven't thought about the timing.

one step to go with the pumpkins, then they are finished too.
Have set out aubergines overnight, which will give me AT LEAST to steps.
Could be, that I am done completely within the next two days. (Hope so).

Then I will change my strategy, spend all the gravel I get to the fox and get more fields to grow more pumpkins until the end.

I have the last 2 steps of the cabbage and the last 3 steps of the aubergine to do and I will be done Then I will decide whether or not to set out the 4 seed givers to get those ep's but will continue to grow those crops. After the event I don't know if I will set the out unless we can put them in the park or shipwreck.

 

I'm definitely putting out the dispensers and growing crops on the event field for as long as it's open. I want to get every bit of extra ep that I possibly can. I having a dedicated event field. I hope it becomes a regular thing, like the MM field.

 

Another event ... can just about cope with one let alone two
I am going to get in such a muddle this is ridiculous

 

I bought the largest basket for this event, as I'm happy to give money to such a good cause.
I'm collecting the gravel from the giver but not using it. I'm trying to do this event the slow way, without any help from donating.
Anyone else doing the same?

 

Per the event... If I am reading this thread correctly, its not possible to finish without buying baskets?

The cause is wonderful. I just feel I can donate private, without any need to give money to BP. For those who wish to do so... yes, it is definitely a good cause.

 

Woody, it's not possible to pave all the path without baskets. You'd miss out on the 4 party tickets and 2 golden bananas.
From the progress I'm making I'm pretty sure I'll finish all the crops without using the benefits from donating.

 

Like Shimmer said, you'd miss a couple of GBs and party spins. It's no big loss not to finish it.
I really enjoy the pace of this event. I can't believe it, because patience isn't a virtue I typically possess, but it's kind of relaxing watching that little garden grow.

 

I don't understand how you are going to miss out on the party spins there is no barricade in front of them like there is the GBs once you get past the 3rd barricade its all open till you get to the GBs

 

@ Marlymar: There are not enough gravels to collect to reach it (41 gravel from all four plants in total). Only when you buy baskets you are getting the missing gravel to finish upt to the schoolhouse.

That's also explained in the FAQ.

 

I am Doing Well with this Event. As I am only doing what i can without Buying Baskets. Personally it not worth the Prizes to buy these Baskets.

4 Party Spins and 2 GB can get Obtainable by doing Farm Society Quests as you can get lots to TEP to Level up Bahamarama only once to get 5 GB.

I am too Enjoying this Event no Pressure at all. Not had an Event that given us lots of time to complete it. But there no need at all to Buy Baskets. It Seems Pointless to me as i can get better prizes by other means

Well, not buying baskets. I'll do what I can without... and donate to the charity outside of the game.

 

With my next harvest I will have completed the event as far as I am going. Not getting the CR. Then I can put out the dispensers and get the ep's I got another tiger, OR and YL carpet factory from my stables. Still no hippo The trees I got a Durian fruit, Ponytail Pond, XXL & XL Achacha, XL Mangosteen, and a XXL Coconut() The mainland trees the only thing worth mentioning is I got another Chequer I hope everyone gets good surprises

Edit: just finished and set out my dispensers. Now I will grow the pumpkins or aubergine as those have the highest exchange value for the amount of time

 

Two steps of the aubergines and then I am done! Should be finished by tonight. Will put out all gravels I get to increase field size to the max (without buying baskets)
As soon as that is finished I will sow pumpkins until the end of the event (Thanks to Mooboy pointing out the EP-rate per growing time).

7 1/2 days left to grow lots and lots of pumpkins.

Auntie EDIT says: Just harvested aubergines and sowed the last lot. Will then harvest tonight 130 aubergines needing just 122. So will be done tonight.
From then on daytime sowings of pumpkins and nighttime sowings of aubergines to the end (if BP is not stopping any sowing after all goats are gone)

 

clonahmon, you did a blitzkrieg farming. Congrats. I am finished with tomatoes and may near finishing of one other vegetable. Deal the other 2 vegetables when I return home on 5th Dec.

 

I finished this event this morning! I the cloud row and "yes" I purchased a basket, NOT to finish the event, but because I wanted to help in this cause! For me being able to finish was just a bonus! Now I will just keep the field planted with what ever my pointer lands on! lol Good Luck and Happy Farming everyone!

Then I am doing the FSQ and get lots of them.

Not a mod but the dispenser gives you less in crops but you get EP's.
