I agree with TCbaby... people having to buy things to finish this event when It is advertised as a free game ?

Only thing this event has done ..... has made us aware of this being a worthy cause to donate to

BUT we can donate to it personally in another way by ourselves ...NOT by buying a basket from Big Point

Malala Charity has it's own web site that we can donate to
I dont want to buy virtual dung and a virtual tree  for £4.18 to finish an event thank you...would sooner give that money to the cause ;)

***Good Event ...spoilt by not being able to complete it all because of having to buy a basket ***

May i remind you this is suppose to be a free game

This is taken from your login page

    Free-To-Play Browser-Based Virtual Farm

This is very unfair of Farmerama to do this to those of us that play this game for free ...We should ALL be able to finish it
SO we don't get to put our givers on a cloud row :wuerg:

And left with 11 steps we cannot give gravel to open the 2 presents

This should have all been made clear in the FAQ and i for one would have sat this event out

And will donate via the web site

I did do this event despite saying I wouldn't after the picture perfect event...why?...because this was an interesting event. Very relaxing with low crop requirements, a long period to finish it.. Nice lay out. Hopefully we will see more events of this design again.

I'm not even upset that you had to pay to finish the event, however...we should have been able to go further then just past halfway.

Loving everything about this event, the extra play field, characters, gifts, new crops, making the path and, of course, your involvement in another charity bash which I am happy to donate to. I agree it would be good to keep the field and I would like to see similar events of this nature in the future. I managed to finish in good time and the same on my baby farm without the need to donate and getting the four deco items, I didnt feel pressure either way to donate. I am not worried about not getting another cloud row as whilst the benefits are great it is such a chore to harvest it when you get over 100 rows! (Sorry to sound ungrateful!). I have also left a suggestion in another thread to keep the aubergenes in the game please! It's so nice to have change with a refreshing new type of event and very well done on this one!

Now I am just growing crops for the CCs. Finished the event couple of days ago here at the grove (because I got the tree basket -I like trees-) my g-doe will not be able to finish however because she does not have the benefit of the tree. Wish I could send her my extra gravel I'm getting off the tree with no use for them.
*thought* after those that do buy the tree have finished the event, they can then gift the gravel like they do the pantry items :D

I see that the school gets an addition also.
I had said it was a good idea to give Fuzzles a house on the hill at the city map, but now I see there is a perfectly nice addition to the school that would be ideal for him to live in. ;)
I enjoyed this event making the path, worked hard and now I will repeat PLEASE let us keep the field to do as we please.
and for those that were not able to complete the path? When the event is over either just put the path out or give them something small to do to complete the path.

Love this event, I've got all the giver items which is what I set out to do. Still 117 hours to go so everyone should get at least this far without spending money. I hope we keep the field for similar events. xD

I finished the event and am continuing to grow crops until the end to gain the EP. The givers are very nice indeed and I like the layout of the play field and agree it would be great to be able to earn this extra area in some way? The crops made a nice change from our usual selection and perhaps we can keep the aubergene, I agree? It was a very well thought out event which made a change from the usual ones and I was quite relieved not to get another cloud row and, as someone said previously, we can switch the higher EP deco items we win with lower EP ones already in our park areas. Please consider using such a theme in future events and thank you. I hope lots of money is raised for the charity.

my new years resolution ,is not to play this game anymore. i am finding it very irritating at least. first having to buy a basket or not finish an event. to me it borders on the line of extortion. then you cant buy 225 bb's for 5.00 anymore now its 4.99 for 150 bb's. seems to me for a free game it cost so much to play , go figure that one.i am so over all these animals , trees, n crops n nowhere to put them except in your inventory. and bingo another event i couldnt finish because of lousy drop rate. and having to use so many for milling so ty very much bp i wont be missing this game.

I really enjoyed this event:D:D Although I was really hoping this area would be turned into an orchard for our trees (hint-hint;);)), I love the idea of having mini events in this field. Happy there wasn't a whole field to have to harvest as I farm manually. Even though I was not able to purchase a basket, I would have happily done so for the mere sake of the cause. And with the givers at least we can put them out for ep's if we choose to do so unlike the pea dispensers.

i liked the extra field. loved that the event was for charity. the graffics were good and i enjoyed my playing pace. i did not like that we had to purchase the baskets to get the cloud row and to finish...i know it was for charity and that's fine. but to require us to purchase anything...especially for charity isn't right. i live off of very little. i'm lucky to have internet to get to play this game. if i happen to have extra to spend at the time i like to but i can't do it just to beat an event. i finished playing it to make sure but there was no way to get enough gravel without the purchase. that wasn't fair...i don't know.. i did like the ep givers they were cute and generous.

I am not too keen on events that are linked to charities. It does sort of put a bit of undue pressure on some that they should donate. I prefer to make my own mind up which charities I donate to.

Apart from that aspect, I really liked this event. It was very relaxed and there was plenty of time to complete as much as we wanted without having to perpetually plant and harvest. The prizes were pretty good too for the effort required. But what I particularly liked was that it was concurrent with normal events so there was something to do while waiting for longer event crops to mature.

The two lengths of growing time meant that we could fit it around out lifestyle. I made no particular effort to finish it as I knew that I wouldn't be buying the basket that meant I could complete it entirely. I got as far as was possible.

I would very much like to finish it in the future (even grew more crops in case this should happen ... ever the optimist) without the pressure of having to buy a basket to complete it. Just a thought BP.
