I wasn't going to participate in this event at first because I am still working on the Cuckoo Breeding Quests and knew that I could not get multiples of the 30 Cuckoos required for #4. Then I read that the lanterns stay lit so I think I will give it a try.

Rewards are very good - Stables, Trees, EP's, GB, CAC, CC's, etc. Just wish there was a Cloud Row in there and the drop rates are good.

UPDATE: Was able to finish this completely and get some crops planted to go into inventory. I might even be able to get some camels for the next breeding event if I can get some feed milled for them.

Unlike some people; I like the longer "growing time" as it makes the game less stressful and allows for time to be spent on other things besides planting and harvesting.

Liked it very much: fair number of plants and drops for very good rewards. Missed just the cloud row.

This is my second time I am playing a lantern event.
Last time I missed a lot, as I had no CAC or pumpkin jam to boost, neither did I know, how to prepare my farm for an event (and didn't even know about the forum).

I like this kind of event very much. Even newer players can achieve some good prizes just by growing the berries and get some drops.
    Especially the CC are great!
Additional prizes for the different patterns are imo a bonus.

Great graphics as always!! Compliments to the developers.

All in all a positive feedback, even when the drops could be a bit more generous.

Am I the only one who's getting an awful drop rate? :(

you are not alone elena, I seem to be in the same boat. o_O Thought it was just me, too. I did get better results by planting roses overnight.

  7. The drop rate is awful, especially for the fields of event crops. You either plant event crops or get the better drops with normal farming - you can't do both without purchasing. I have enough crops, but to complete it I need about 400 flasks, I and do know it was possible to finish it last time (as I did), but this time I don't think I can get 400 before the end. Too many flasks required from the drop rate which you can't control.

So, I shall do what I do for other events I don't finish, shrug and accept what I did get and be glad that there are other things being given which require only that I log in.

Rewards good, not too stressful but I really hate that 2 events are running at the same time. Just let us have a break to farm, especially on the back of the harvest hoe down.

i still need about 400+ drops using the rain forest might have helped some .with the lousy drops. and needing 455 of them just for backpacks threw a monkey in the mix.i really hate when u need drops to mill stuff and drops for other steps .i told u bp doesnt listen to complaints , only to what we chat about in the forum is what they listen too.

I like this type of event very much. Good rewards, and now with extras for specific formations even beter. Also a bit of gameplay for me when trying to figure out which formation I can complete with resources I have. I've never finished it all (one day I will), but have always enjoyed it as a valuable game happening.

Ugghh I loathed this event last time as I got in a real muddle with it but I was lured in and have messed up again this time! LOL I have worked to light all the lanterns on the grid thinking I would get every prize, both those marked yellow and blue, but you don't, it's just the yellow and I have re-read the FAQ so many times I am sure I didnt miss something. Anyway trying to light the last lantern now and if this event comes up again I am deffo not going to participate, sorry to be negative but aaarrrgghhhh.......

Didn't like the last Bingo event ...and am not liking this one either ...Sorry

The Drops are pathetic for the amount we have to donate to this event
IF we had more sources of making BB's other then the movies ....(which isn't very reliable and hasn't had movies for two days ) ...we could buy some of these drops for this event from farm supplies

i did like the last Bingo event. But not this one. Once AGAIN, too many drops required with an awful drop rate. And I thought it very poor taste to "accidentally" have the rain forest give drops and then take them away. It really highlights that BP is purposely trying to force players to buy baskets/drops to finish events. I hope players will join me in a boycott of buying drops to finish an event. It really isn't much of a "game" if you just paid to get the prizes!

I like this type of event :) or it could just be FOCD that grips tightly :p getting to pick and choose whether I 'win' the sticker is always my preferred option :) I have been fortunate to complete the event (sticker last) without having to purchase the baskets:) again, graphics as always were great, the glowberries are so very shiny looking :) Thanks BP team

  15. If you complete the yellow lantern, you get the prize for that individual one. If you complete several yellow lanterns, which correspond to a blue pattern, you will also get the prize shown for the blue - it will show with a tick on it. If you complete the whole board, you will get every prize, both for the yellow and blue (they are automatically credited to your farm). Check out the inventory, you should find the mystery trees and the stables.

as with most events that need lot's of drop's you always need 1/2 field's just for the drops. over time you should know what will put out the drop's, most time i stay with spelt, or something giving about the same points, go for roses because of the 12hr you get nothing but your hat and 7/8 drops dont throw the 12hr's away always use cac. i'll will admit that losing that field put a strain on things but i finished this morning. dont give up get up at 5:30 am for last harvest. stay with it

I liked this event for the mere fact that once I had it all filled in I would get all the prizes:D:D However I was getting a little worried about the drops. Usually if I plant long crops the drops are better but on my farm it really didn't seem to make much difference this timeo_O:eek::( Therefore I think people were scrambling trying to figure out what to use which leads to too much stress:(:(
