Feedback Mini Events: December 2016

Why is it Happy Harvest Day always seems to run the day before an event starts? This makes us choose whether we want the extra ep's or prepare the farm for drops which are needed for the event. I will always choose the latter bc one never knows how drops are going to be.

 

I'm loving the calendar giveaway. yay. free stuff and good free stuff at that.. And cute graphics are always a plus.

 

once again I have spent money buying the wonder tree packs and once again the only way I got one of the new trees is the one I was guaranteed with the pack of 30. I understand there is an element of chance but it seems to me from my last few experiences that the chance of getting one of the brand new trees is way too low. Please sort out the odds or stop ripping us off because these packs are not cheap!

 

I love the candy cane crops. Got a reindeer stable and a Christmas tree up and the candy cane crops make my farm so pretty and festive. Wish we could have the candy cane crops all the way up to Christmas. Thank You.

 

I agree, I bought one Wonder pack with the ice tree and one wonder plus - so far it's not looking good for the newly released trees.

'The Plus Wonder Trees have better odds of getting the newly released trees!', not impressed with the 'better odds'. Bit disappointing really.

This event is my favourite and I always buy quite a lot of the trees, but I thought this time I'd go for the packs, now I wish I'd stuck to my usual plan of buying these trees individually and saved 95BBs and taken a chance on getting the Ice Fir Tree.
Are they really random, when in one batch of five, there's four identical ones.

I think one problem is that we are buying packs of either 15 or 30 and instead of these being discounted for a multi-buy, they are more expensive. I sort of understand the guaranteed brand new tree (but these are randomly found in any batch of 30 for 150BBs, as I found in the past), however, the Wonder Plus don't seem to give anything extra for the extra 35BBs. This is probably the reason for the disappointment, when the 15 trees produce only XL of trees that have been around for a while and several of the same, even though they are upgrades they aren't 'newly released' trees.


Separately the Advent Calendar as always is a delight and a joy, and I'm finding the daily gift also rewarding. I guess swings and roundabouts and I'm hoping today's gift will bring a brand new tree.

 

This time I didn't buy the new trees, and I didn't buy the weasel either.
I've told so many times that these new releases are too frequent and too expensive, but looks like no one's listening.
So I've just stopped buying them.

 

I'm with you Elena! I have not bought the trees/animals the last two rounds or so. I got so sick of buying MANY of them and not getting any new trees/animals. So I end up with a lot of animals just sitting in the barn since I had too many of them. I think results of getting new releases has become less and less likely, now pretty much impossible! So, I may buy some of the mystery/wonder trees/animals once the new that I don't have become "old"!

 

Yes I think that I will be doing that way from now on. Surely I can't afford a new animal and two new trees EVERY month.
And being those so frequent, takes away a lot of their charm.
