    Nice graphics - nice prizes.

Just wish that I could finish it completely. Don't have near enough camels or PF based on event strategy posts.

8)Liked this event - actually finished it! xD And the prices for camels has gone through the roof, aiding greatly in my personal quest to reach a Billion CC's. Liked the graphics, too, although when I finished...I wasn't quite sure I had, at first...because the camels just kept making their rounds. No other indication that I'd finished. Had lost track of where I was, as I was also working on another farm...
All in all, a no-stress event - and that makes it really good!!:D

  6. Absolutely agree about the graphics which are cute and having been up close and personal with camels when I lived in the Middle East, they do indeed have these luxurious, long eyelashes and sometimes quite a flirty look (they have a nasty habit of spitting though, so it pays to be nimble). That said, I also lost track of where I was, but did sort of work it out with the rewards - as I knew which ones I'd already gained, so just kept going until the end.

I do think this is more an event for those who are high level, as it will probably be quite hard for anyone who hasn't built up stocks of camels or can't afford to buy them; however, I haven't been able to do every event for various reasons, so if you miss this one - there'll be others. Well done on this one to the designers and developers.

I too liked this event and finished it quite easily, since I had a lot of camels doing not a lot. . I also mill all the time, so have a 100s of camel feed. I did breed, but again having built up quite a bit of powerfeed, it was stress free. The amounts required seem high, until you compare them to the number of breeding camels required anyway for the red and pink pens, so the extras were a lovely bonus. I love the idea of the 1x1 Camel Decoration that upgrades and gives something other than cc or ep, upgrades used to be the standard before the cloud, additionally taking up 1 space instead of 4 is great. Love, love, love the camel.

However, only one minor (and it is a tiny one) quibble - why not just keep Baby Boom going throughout these breeding events. What is the point of a few hours on the first day and then no doubt will start again on Friday until Sunday?

Totally agree with HoppalongCassidy, in everything he/she posted.
As a relative fresh farmer, I didn't have a stock of camels. In fact I opened both the camel slot and the camel breed slot when rumours started to fly. Not sure if I will or even can finish it.

But I love the camels jogging along the track. Absolutely adorable.
Again great work form your art department.

I too wasn't sure that I was finished with the event when I was. I did like the little popup that told me I could take another go-around. Was there one to tell me that I had finished? If there was, I missed it. That last 1mil donations of camels was intense though, lol, so it could be that I missed it.

I also appreciate that the event was described as a medium one and I think it was. The HH was described as a medium one and, due to the drop rate, I don't think it was. I'm on level 85 on both my farms right now (to be moving on to 86 soon on one - hopefully) with 785 camels on one farm and 623 on another; I had read the forum re: camels and had worked to get my camels open as well as the spaces in the temple open re: camels before the event, and I had bought camels at more reasonable prices. One of my farms (w/785 camels!) had to buy camels after donating, but that was b/c I had made a mistake in donating in the very first step and that messed me all up; my bad, not yours. And I think it should be that way: If you make a mistake, it will be harder, just like life, ay? I used almost 400 PF on the event. I would rather not use so much PF though. I used more on this one than on the cat event (loved the cat event more!).

Loved the graphics too. I love the way the camels trotted about on the runway b/t the tents. I liked that it was circular, but wonder if that was a reason that I didn't know that it had ended. I also liked that you could go around twice for twice the reward. And I thought the rewards were very nice; the PF was esp appreciated as well as the pink pens!!! :D

I'm having to search for something I didn't like, and I guess the only thing I can think of was that I didn't know I had completed the event until the camels had made one go-around (I'm gonna go watch those camels go around again after this, lol). The amt of camels that you had to have was the hardest part of the event, but I had done a lot of footwork to be prepared, so I was pretty ok with that, even though I had only opened my camels recently. I also had a lot of CC which helped me buy camels after I opened them. So, all in all, I'm not sure the amt of camels was a hindrance to me and didn't make it a difficult event rather than a medium one.

As for the BBD for the whole week? I wouldn't really use it if it were prolonged I don't think. I usually try to work on just a few animals at a time in the breeding pen, but it is nice to be finished with the event and be able to try to finish personal breeding goals too.

You asked about what I thought when I first read the FAQ, my initial reaction. It was that I wouldn't be able to finish and that it would, indeed, be another 'medium' event that was really a 'hard' event. Also, oh, no! Another event, so close to the others? It's the camels! OOO, what good prizes... lol :D

I'm too lengthy, gotta stop that! Thanks for this spot in the forum too. I like the idea of this thread a lot. I think it gives us a place to both complain and rave! So, to sum up, tiny complaint for not so miraculous ending and rave for the animation, the prizes, and the rating (calling it a medium, when it was a medium).

Thanks for hearing me out and giving me a place to talk about it! Smiles and Peace to you all.

This was an awesome event and I finished the first go around. I put the Desert Wonder on Shipwreck Island and deposited 3 Improved although the amounts were confusing the second one said I would get 1100 then the third went on and it said 850. Anyway, I decided to move it and when I deleted it, it is totally gone from my inventory. It didn't say that it would be deleted permanently. I just wanted to move it not get rid of it. Now I have the Incredible Wonder but it is not as much since the others disappeared. Will I still get the Farm Supplies Box? So frustrated that I did it and they are gone!

Got two bougainvillea trees ...wisteria and two XL blackthorn trees... which I have already but don't mind getting more of...so I am Happy

I got 2 parrot houses yellow... Monkey boutique ... yellow chop stick factory ...Ant eater...nothing ex sigh tingxD

Sorry I didn't like this event...far tooo much for very little reward ....I get enough EP/ TEP daily
Found it time consuming for this time of the year and very boring

Not having baby Doomer for all of this event was a little bit mean

AND the amount of time it is taking to mill the feed for the camels is far to long for an event
I am down to my last 77 camels and 163 power feed ...and on the second round on level 12 .. All i wanted was the wonder stables ...have two pink camels already
But dont think i will be finishing that :sleepy:

    Love the graphics

  12. Usually with these they once placed on each other they are not like trees or stables - which separate when removed from the farm, the multiple level decorations are permanently linked. This is how it used to before the cloud.

Just put it out, I think you'll find it will place; if not, put a request for assistance because these are permanent and should go back into the inventory. Also, you'll find that the 3x upgrades give 1300 EP/TEP - mine did. Yes, if you put it out you do get one of the listed items - just be aware that my first one was the 25 x manure, which isn't much use to me as I don't have many fields.

As a feedback and related to that last comment, the manure just doesn't get added if you are at the limit of 450, which I was. I didn't get the additional 25 manure added to my pile as a bonus, so I thought that a bit mean. Surely, it shouldn't be part of the normal pile and should be a bonus amount (as used to happen with the wheel when it gave a pile of the steaming).

Otherwise, I like this little camel, it's very pretty and doesn't take up much room.

Loved this event, no crops and no drops is ideal as far as I am concerned! I prepared for this event as soon as the Grapevine mentioned it was coming, so it was completely stress free, plus I made some money with my extras! Very nice prizes, the random prize crate is so much fun, and the graphics are beautiful, great job!
