    That's not the point, it's TRADITIONAL! I even eat sprouts at Xmas.
    ....Still not eating turkey though, yuck to turkey even more than sprouts.

    You are right Shimmer, it was tradition when I was young. Mom would make small individual cakes, tie them up in cellophane and red ribbon and put them in our stockings. :) Christmas morning I would eat a few bites and quietly feed the rest to out obliging dog. You would have liked Storm, he obliged my dislike of some vegetables too. :inlove:

    My mom wouldn't let us have a dog but the kitchen table we had was an old one that happened to have a drawer in it. My sisters used to put there veggies in there or in the summer throw them out the window when mom went into the pantry. Got busted on that when one of us went outside and slipped on the veggies that had landed on the brick sidewalk!!xDxDxD
