If my calculations are correct, we need 17,625 plants to complete all decorations, on a 9 hour harvest, in 6 days.... OVER CHRISTMAS?? No thank you.

Way too many crops needed for a long crop - I can only harvest perhaps once a day so this is a big no-no for me. The stress of hoping to get enough drops would spoil Christmas so I will put out trees everywhere and harvest each morning and enjoy Christmas.

I'm looking forward to this event. Figure I only have to harvest 3 times a day:p:p After that it will be collecting the drops8)8) I figured it would be an 8 hr crop and it does make sense to me bc people are going to want to spend time with family instead of having to harvest every 4-5 hours.

I am with julie, I have been looking forward to this event, and while I think the number of crops needed is kind of high, I do get the long growing time. People are busy with RL and not glued to the computer or this game!;) I :inlove: the Poinsettia crop, it is so pretty and festive! And the decoration we have to build is a great design idea and the graphics are wonderful! I also think the prizes are very nice too!
Now all I have to do is get those crops and drops to get some of them!;) Happy Holidays everyone
    and have fun...it is only a game!!:p

I too think it is far better to have a long crop over Christmas when we want down time with family.
Let's hope requirements are obtainable. A very Merry Christmas to all.

I love the long timed crops, as these are giving higher drop rates than the usual 3, 4 and 6 hour crops we got in all the other events.
especially with christmas it is much better and is suiting more players to have the longer crops.
one harvest in the morning, one in the afternoon and one before going to bed... with all five fields avaiable means around 7500 crops (not calculated but estimated) per day, so definitely doable.
I love the graphics and the opportunity to not only do one pyramid at a time and to have to complete it, but to be able to choose, what you want to get.
I am not sure, but the drop rate seems reasonable as well.

Nice Christmas present from BP to have an event like this, were actually everything seems to be in order (at least so far, we will see where it goes).

    Merry Christmas everybody!!

I love, love, love the red poinsettias!!!! I'm not a fan of such a long grow crop...but I guess it is better for this time of year, when we are all so busy in our RL's. Not thrilled with how many of the gorgeous poinsettias we have to grow to finish entire event.....but I do like the Christmas tower!

    Merry Christmas to all!!!! ;)

I like the design of this one a lot, but would like 2 small tweaks.

I wish there were a way to just look and see if I have one item done (and which one it is) without clicking. Also, because of the decoration changes, there does not seem to be a way (aside from going to the faqs) to go back and check what prizes I have completed. A lot of people like to do that, particularly folks who don't want to complete the whole event for whatever reason.

I think the "all or nothing" two part donation might be confusing for a lot of newer players (players who are probably not posting here) If nothing else, I would like to see the warning similar to the "over donation" type warning (no items will be returned, etc). On my first quick read, I did not realize you had to complete both parts to get the prizes, and I am a fairly experienced player.

Overall a nice event, and I definitely like the "pick and choose your prize" feature for this time of year! To get just the cloud row only required 1 pair (120 drop and 1175 crops each) from each category. Other things required more, but reasonable returns.

EDIT: I have been harvesting just twice a day, with CAC, but only one round of the susy supergrow. I planted the event on 3 and a half fields (not green meadow and only about one half of rain forest) and am nearly done. I would call that reasonable normally. Given the time of year, it might be hard for more people than usual.

I have really enjoyed this event. Drops were very good and the gift of +1 harvester was a wonderful gift. I love decorating and lighting at the end:):) So beautiful!!:music::music:

Like the long term crops way better than the short term ones that require you to be on the computer constantly harvesting. This allows us to do other things (cook, clean house, watch tv, visit, etc.). Thanks

Nice rewards too and as usual cool graphics.

As far as arrangements go: I did not have a favorite combination but I prefer the plain white candles (solid yellow are 2nd) over the others.

I have no chance of completing this event (as usual) but it has been fun. I opted to choose the harvester coupons, wonder trees, wonder animals and the orange up-grade for reindeer, anything else I can manage to gain will be gratefully appreciated. The fact of choosing which task I could complete was really nice, I liked that I could change the christmas merry-go-round to how I would like it to look. I loved the high EP that was given with the event poinsettas, that was a very nice touch. More events like this would be very encouraging for me to participate in. Cheers to all

What a great Christmas event! :D :inlove:
    - Love the longer growing crops any time of year! They are easier to fit around busy work schedules and holiday events.
    - Doable number of crops - I know it sounded high (like it usually does), but achievable, especially using CAC. Within the first 2 or 3 days, I had enough event crops and could move on to even longer growing crops with a high drop rate (refined roses works for me)
    - Longer growing crops = better drop rates. When I can't finish an event, it is because I cannot get enough drops.
    - Love you could choose which prizes to go after. I didn't think I would be able to finish, so I went for the stables and trees first, then the cloud row, then the rest.
    - Finishing the event - I wasn't expecting to complete everything, but with one more harvest of roses I should finish the last decoration. What a nice surprise!
    - Love the graphics. You have always done a great job with them. It is so nice to be able to customize the Christmas pyramid!

Thank you! Please have more like this! Most important change to me was having a drop rate that does not prevent me from finishing!

  17. I wasn't sure about this event, but even with the long crop time (meaning twice a day harvest), using only the two tropical fields, water and manure (when my other fields produced it, so once a day) I still should manage to complete most of them, including the cloud and decorations. I like the idea of being able to change the graphics with a click, though I do think that should have been stated in the FAQ, as it's not clear how to display them without trial and error; however it's a very pretty Christmas scene.

Woody, if you want to check what rewards you've claimed, the FAQ does have them shown in the same order as the scene.

So, 9/10 for this event. Nice one for Christmas.

Well, I finished this event! :) Thanks to getting GREAT drops, and even though I thought the crop rate a little high, when we got the +1 Harvester that made ALL the difference for me! THANKS BP that
was an awesome gift!;) And this was a fun event, even during our busy Christmas time!

Thank you for a great event BP.
Beautiful graphics as always. Very pretty finished decoration. :) I appreciate being able to choose the "most wanted" prizes and then work through the event. This way even if you don't finish you feel like a winner. Lots of fun, great work all. :)
Happy New Year to all. :D

Finished the event but still enjoyed being able to do it in my own "priority" order just in case I couldn't complete it. Didn't care for the purple candles with the blue motive so I used the off white ones instead.
