Just posting the numbers so that I can put the link in the SOS thread. Not really had a good think about strategy yet but ... here goes:

    6,750 Pyroblooms
    6,750 Firecracker Flowers
    900 Kindling (drops)

Low numbers for crops but can't be planted on Baha fields so this makes it a little more tricky.

    Good luck everybody. ;)

    Thanks illy for the numbers.
Just a short addition to it:
all silver need 1750 firecracker flowers, 1750 pyroblooms and 200 kindling.
all gold need 2250 firecracker flowers, 2250 pyroblooms and 300 kindling.
all diamonds need 2750 firecracker flowers, 2750 pyroblooms and 400 kindling.

    mainfield: 202 fields 1x1
    wild meadow: 202 fields 1x1
    magic glade: 184 fields 1x1
    Total fields 1x1 = 588
with CAC this means 4*588 = harvest 2352 crops, access after resowing: 1764 crops,
    6750 firecracker flowers / 1764 crops per harvest => 4 sowings
    6750 pyroblooms / 1764 crops per harvest => 4 sowings
900 kindling drops / 5 days event running = daily rate 180 drops

strategy: as I don't have a lot of time over the new year, I will try to do all silver levels first to then for for step 1 gold and diamond (for the base firework stand) and then, whatever is possible.

I will go for a really relaxed way of this event. I'll get, what I can get, without stressing.

Wishing everybody good luck with this.

    strategy: skip
Can't face ripping the farms apart again, worrying about drops, long crops. Will just farm and work on things that I want to.

In over 4 years of playing, I have never skipped an event purposely (I did miss the Bahama Queen last year when Mom was in the hospital). It does feel really weird to not prepare the farm but just too tired to do it. Lazy? Perhaps.

Wow!! 4 yrs. of playing and never missed but one event(purposely) - that is totally amaaaaazing!!

But I understand how you feel about ripping apart the farm! Mine is a new farm, and I'm just getting it set up - and I don't want to rip it apart either!.....And it has nothing to do with being lazy!
Hope you get all you want from it, PnP, and enjoy your farm, too!!:)

Illy and Clonahmon - your figures are such a Major help!! Thank you so much!!!
(There may be hope for me on this one...maybe. LOL!)

Yes Thank you, clonahmon and Illy for your numbers! And taking those numbers, I figure you will need to harvest at least 1,350 of each crop per the 5 days to get all of the 6,750! :) And we need to get 180 drops per day to get the 900 we need in the 5 days! Good Luck and "Happy New Year!" to all

Thank you Illy and clonahmon for the maths
Don't know if I want to do this event ...have NO room on my farm to put these things out on fields..so they would be stuck in my Inventory ...never to see a field ...which is sad
The rewards seems to be mostly suzy grow and suzy turbo mulch .... get this everyday from turbo jumbo trees

Have only got about another 11 things to open in the Monkey Temple ...because i do not want the menagerie etc ..So i can take my time getting bananas

Only thing i would be doing this event for... would be the 20 PF
Don't think it is worth ripping my Farm up for that amount ...i could make that in the mill
So think i will continue with getting my animals up into the thousands ...while i have the chance and sit this event out;)

I had a look at the Event FAQ. As the Prizes are not really that Great at All, Compared to other Events.

As These Golden Bananas does not help me as i have 577 GB already in my Barn i might just do part of this event Normally Complete Events

The Incredible Fireworks is not an Impressive Giver Giving only 5000 EP/TEP every 72 Hours and 1 Farm Wheel Spin as i got Many Cloud Rows gives better EP/TEP for much lessor time. 1 Farm Wheel Spin not going to help much as Daily Rewards gives better Prizes Dissapointed in terms of Prizes for this Event Might Press on working on Quests and Make CC !!

I'm actually not working for the duration of this event and so have the time to do this event, despite the prizes not being not particularly tempting (though not too shabby either). I will make my decision tomorrow when I see what the drop rates are like on my first harvest. This will not be a well prepared first harvest, just lots of Dogs, Frogs, Eagles, Bats and Skunks on the fields I would be using. My Glade, as ever, has all the good stuff: Neon, Pink, Jumbo Stables and Trees. Will not touch that for any old event. Would have to be something really special to rip that one out! :wuerg:

Don't forget, you will not be getting drops from Baha - hope the drop rate is the same as the last event lol! :D A girl can dream can't she! :p

JJenks: so sorry to hear about your family member. All my thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time.
