Link to FAQ for this event is incorrect in the above posting.

So far it looks like a lot of good activity but not enough time to complete very much as the crops are high enough amounts that working all sections of the town will be very difficult.

Initially think the crop requirements are a bit high. Would be better if we could plant on 5 fields. Prizes are a bit nondescript nothing to get excited about . Birthdays are exciting! Shame other challenges have been more fun. Maybe I just had higher expectations of this one :(

Interesting that you get all the good prizes without having to finish the event. There is usually at least one really good prize that is obtainable at the end of the event.

I am planning on finishing the event anyway because I just like to finish things, if possible.

It would have been nice though if the trees/bushes were in color also -- they look so drab compared to the rest of the city (after decorated).

Happy 7th Birthday, Farmerama!! :D Thanks for the invite. You throw a great party!
Love the party favors, especially the Best Birthday Bash. :inlove:

The team did a great job on the sets. The detail was so realistic I kept getting lost. xD
It is obviously a night setting, and meant to be dark at the start. But, I agree with nm561, the landscape
would have been more festive with brighter street lights and/or more color.

I had a lot of fun with this event. All around great job! ;)

  8. As always, my issue with this type of event is that you either grow event crops - which do not give high drops - or you keep your fields intact to give higher drops and can't fulfil the crop requirements. I have more than enough crops, even with only two fields for event crops but not enough drops.

I can't remember the last event of this type I actually fully completed, though I will get the full decoration because I concentrated on that. I'm not a player who frets about completing the events, since my work often means I can't commit sufficient time to them.

the answer isn't to have drops from other players, but to increase the drop rate from event crops (since these are an essential part of the event). Drops from a field with animal pens / workshops is often 3 or 4 times as high as the same field with event crops.

Other than that, it's not as confusing as it first seems, and since you can't know which of the mystery presents will give the birthday beads, it does add an element of chance.

My conclusion is that despite the slight drawback of not enough drops, it's an enjoyable and fun event.

Not liking this event very much due to the lag in the game
For a birthday party it is dismal and nothing i have ever seen in this game before ... which is usually bright and full of colour.. making you want to complete it
AT the moment this event isn't doing this to me ...feels like I am going down a rat infested sewer...the trees would have made it look better if they had been green ...Black a funeral colour ?:(
Maybe it is better when it's completed HOPEFULLY...
    Graphics are normally excellent :(

The best thing that would celebrate Farmeramas birthday would be the carnival each year ...now that's an event to look forward to

This game could be SO much better with a little more imagination..which Farmerama seems to have lost from looking at this event

Like your idea about having bright street lights. Mine look like they are not even on. All the houses are completely lit so you would think that they would be on and also I am completely finished so they don't turn on at the end when it is completely finished either.

I loved this event! I finished well ahead of time without a ton of stress. I loved having only three fields available - the other two were in trees so my drops were actually ahead of my crops. The graphics were lovely. Yes, a little dark, but that made the "lighted" buildings really stand out. I loved the way that, if people chose, they could only do part of it and still get great rewards. The many small rewards were great. Overall, a fantastic event :)

This birthday event was very disappointing. It is boring and the price are not worth much. The previous years birthdays were so much better.
I finished the event as it was not too demanding, but it was not fun either.
For the old timer, an EP giver as a reward without a cloud row is ridiculous. We have no more room in our fields. A cloud row at least is somewhat useful.
The most useful prices are the PF. for your birthday you could have be a little more generous. 21 PF really?
I used to love the game but I am starting to loose interest in it. All the new animals introduction are mystery animals. No more challenge to try to get an animal by reaching a certain level. If we just spin enough we will eventually get all the workshops needed to progress. I have tons of tools that I never use. I used to get excited when I got a hammer. Now I never work for any building. I just wait to get it at the wheel or as a reward in one game. So I have tons of chicken coops and the like. All the new games introduction lately have been based on luck, not challenge, and not fun. Everything is based on hazard and most of the time we get the same boring barns and workshop we do not need. Please find something more interesting that an infinite number of animals, real or not.

As far as the event goes, I thought it was good. I managed to do it with ease even if I didn't prep the farm in advance (didn't know), was away so lots of idle time on the farm, only used 3 fields. No idea if the prizes were good or not, I don't pay attention. Would have loved it if there was more of a balloons and confetti rain when I finished something, or at the very least the entire event. I was a bit.. "Ehmm, did I do everything, is it done? This is it?"

All in all good. (not great)

it was a good event. i liked the theme and the prizes were pretty good.. the crops took a while but the event didn't ask for many at a time so that was good. wish i could have used all of my fields but at least all fields produced drops.i managed to get all the curtains but i didn't get to finish it. not because i couldn't grow enough crops but because, it seems like every time there is a login maintainence i can't login in for a day or so. i couldn't log on to finish this event. i was very upset. i worked hard on the event had enough crops to finish had just enough time to finish but i couldn't log on to my game so i couldn't finish. when the game finally let me log on the event was over. but i had fun with it and got some good prizes so all's not lost.
