My strategie is: I play it in German, as the requirements are less (see my post in the general issues section)!

As per english FAQs we have to donate more than 5 mio more than as per German FAQs.

    Have FUN!!

Auntie EDIT says: FAQs have been corrected and there is no trace of any wrong numbers in there to not confuse players.
If everything is going smoothly I will play the event ;)

Thanks for this information!;) If the German FAQs are correct, and I have no reason to believe they are not, I would hope to keep this game fair for all players that the EN FAQs will be changed
    accordingly!;)

Are the drops coming only from trees on all fields or just on Baha fields?

    From all fields lottidah.

    Thanks clonahmon for everything.

GBs are worth getting as we are going to have new animals & crops in bahamarama.
I will go for GB & PF. But let's see how much tree fruits I have in barn to donate.

Drops are from trees only. So those who depend on trees for drops & also for tree fruits, please put up your trees. I am off to do it.

Okay, someone double check this please - the best value is to go for the small donations. It's 29,500 CC worth of donations per coin; the large donation is 34,650 CC per coin, and 32,550 CC for medium. Even with the additional donations required each time through, it still seems the best value. The drawback is the number of times you have to donate to get a large number of coins.

I think you have to divide the value needed by the coins received to determine the best value. Small levels 1-5 are the best, but then medium level 1 (at 24,000) is cheaper than small level 6 (which is 25,000).
I worked out the cheapest path for the first 20 donations. They give a total of 55 coins at a cost of 1,494,500 EV, or 27,173 EV per coin.
    Small levels 1-5,
    Medium levels 1,2
    Small 6
    Medium 3
    Small 7
    Medium 4
    Small 8
    Medium 5
    Small 9
    Large 1
    Medium 6
    Large 2
    Small 10
    Medium 7
    Large 3
Does anyone remember which trees give more drops? Is it the XXLs or the regular trees? Time to go search the FSQs for turbo mulch :p
The FAQ is a bit confusing as to whether we can use baha fruits or not, but the Spanish and French FAQs both say main and baha fruit can be contributed. I'm just going to plan to use baha fruit, and hope I'm not disappointed when the event starts.

Yes, one section of the EN FAQs says you can only use mainland and the drop and another section says you can use both mainland and baha. Clarification needed?

Thanks to everyone for their numbers! :)
Not really happy about only being able to get 55 coins for 1.494+ EV :(
Who would be happy about that?

Thanks for Starting this Thread Clonahmon. As you stated that En Forum made Error in about of Fruit Value for each Step of Small, Medium and Large Step Donations are 5%, 4% and 3% Respectively. But This time we earn Farm Coins

But we did have The Fruit Market Event July 2016 Look at the Fruit Market FAQ July 2016 now compare it to Fruit Market FAQ FEB 2017

But the Latest Fruit Donation Requirement for Small, Medium and Large is Actually about 70 - 75% Less per Fruit Donations per Step if you compared this Event to last year Event But Last Time we earned Star Coins

But getting Farm Coins in terms of Fruit Donations is Approx 75% Cheaper, Compared to the Last Fruit Market Event

I did a good thing to Buy up lots of Fruits from the Markets while Fruit Prices was normal with the proceeds of cc i made from recent Breeding Event...:p

Which helps me get ready for this Event. Any Wonderfruits I get is a bonus;)

Poppyseed you ask a question on which Trees gives better Drops XXL Trees or Regular Trees. It All Depends on EP/TEP the Tree Gives As XXL Apple Tree gives the worse EP so it is the worse Tree for Drops.

The Maple Sap Takes 20 Hours to Grow, But it has the Best Fruit EV of 170 Main Land Fruit Tree But gives 110 EP every Map Sap Tree harvested. But any XXL Tree that gives 110 or more EP Regardless of Growing time should give more or less better Drop Rate i hope this Makes Sense ;)

We know we hard get to use XL Trees but we can use these XL Trees if we are happy to consume surplus Super Mulch in our Barns as we can Make them into 12 Hour Trees to go with Wisteria, Chestnut and Cork Trees which are also 12 Hour Trees to we can Reap these Trees every 12 Hours

It is Confirmed that we can donate Baha Fruit Trees too. I would certain be using Pineapple Cake Buff when Reaping Baha Fruit Trees as it gives +1 Baha Fruits per Tree

Vial of Growth Buff Reduces Baha Fruit Trees by 10%. As we have Durian, Sandalwood and Ponytail Palm are 12 Hour Baha Fruit Trees, which works well with Baha XXL Trees. We also have Annona Tree which can be reaped under 12 Hours. As This goes well with our 20% EP/TEP Pets givers

I am going to Ignore getting GB from Shop 0 Rama. As for me i have better Strategy to uses Buffs to level up Baha as quickly as i can as I can gain 5 GB per level up. But i have a Good Surplus 608 GB in my Barn so no worries there...;)

I had a good look at Shop O Rama my best Strategy is to get as many 4 x Farm Spins as i can. As you can have a good chance to win some really good prizes on Farmerama Wheel using Farm Spins....:D

Good Luck and have fun with this event ;):)

Donations per step are lower this time around, but total donations are going to be higher because of the increased price in the shop for the prizes. Last time we could purchase the 4 trees for 10 coins each an unlimited amount of times and this time the trees are 30 farm coins limited to 2. PF is also much higher this time as it costs 50 farm coins for 20 PF and previously we could get 50 PF for only 4 coins.
Depending on what prizes you are hoping to acquire, this could be a big hit on barns.

I'm glad we are able to donate Baha fruits this time.

What is the best list to go about - small, medium or large ? That is after we finished with the 20 steps in all the three of them ?

  16. clonahmon

    clonahmon Forum Veteran

I haven't done the 20 steps each yet, but what I do is, I compare, how much fruit I would have to give to get 8 coins in my next large step to the fruit I have to give with 2 small and 2 medium steps(giving also 8 coins). If the large is less than the combination, I look also how many fruits of the next three small steps to give in comparison to the next medium step.
Then I do the lesser of both

You can do up your list, when adding 1000 in the small, 2700 in the middle and 5600 in the large donations for each step. ;)

Auntie EDIT says: eg: large step 10 needs 274,400, but small step 14 and 15 plus medium 12 and 13 need only 273.100 both getting 8 coins.

    Hope this helps

To do all 20 steps of each costs 8,087,000 EV and gets you 240 coins. There's really no best single size to do, unless you do a lot of levels. You just have to work your way through the best value for each size. They get crazy expensive per coin the further along you go.
For anyone who wants to go beyond, I'll share the tables I made showing the per coin cost for each level up to 40 (2 sets of the 20 levels) so you can compare to find the best value.

The problem is: this kind of events doesn't make any sense. They mean donating huge amount of stuff -barn stock destroyers as they are- for a less than meager return, practically negligible. This becomes apparent just by calculating what you can buy with the 240 Farm coins poppy has just mentioned: 6 party tkts OR 5 GBs OR 120 PFs, for over 8M in ExV terms (the equivalent to, for instance, 40K cocoa beans). For high Baha level players, maybe the 5 GBs make some sense; the 6 party tkts don't make any; the 120 PFs may make some sense to those who don't buy Mill Subscription.

The only real risk is the Agro mkt may include in the future some indispensable item and this would suggest Farm coins should be accumulated. But who knows.

And, last edition was with crops, this one with fruit, which makes me think the following ones will be with animals and/or bred animals and products, a gloomy future. So, maybe this is the time to accumulate at least some Farm coins for that who knows what in the future.

My current Farm coins count is 0 (I skipped entirely the previous event that awarded them, for the very same reason) and, by the end of current event, it'll most probably go on being extremely low: exactly the amount that the drops will allow me to buy (which, incidentally, are shockingly horrible: I'm even pulling out most of the trees I added yesterday once they get ripe). But I may end up donating some more, using poppy's table, just for the sake of having some FCs saved, since I bet following editions will be impossible.

finished 20 steps in each. And few more in large list. Really couldn't endure more clicking and wasting of my barn fruits. To get another (the same amount of) 250 coins, I have to give more fruits than the previous 20 steps of each category for the next 20 steps and to get another (the same amount of) 250 coins, I have to give much more than the previous 40 steps in each category . Moreover I have to click nearly 8 to 10 times for each step. Is human energy so cheap. Do we have to slave to play this event.

Contrary to my plans I ended up getting BBs. Didn't go for others.

    Aluntino, you are very right.

It's crazy, the exchange rate from EV to farm coin to prize. For the low, low price of 1.4 million EV I can get 55 coins, and exchange 50 of them for 1 CAC. I really hope no one goes for that, or any of the other horrible exchanges. I'll keep saving my coins for the "what if" because I don't see anything available that's worth it to me now. If nothing else, maybe they'll reduce the costs later.
Also, there's no easy way to tell which level you're on in the event window.:( It's terribly inconvenient.
