Heart and Soul Strategy Thread

It is not possible to calculate what is needed for this event: it is dependent on how accurate everyone is in the mini-game and what they are aiming for (prize-wise that is!). Suffice to say, I have done the minimum of sums:

Cloud Row and Cloud Row Items = 1,035 Star Coins
Sticker: 10 Star Coins

Me, I will go for the Cloud Row and the Miscellaneous Awards then whatever I can get afterwards (if I even get that far!).

1. Blank will give you no coins

= 2 points + speeds up character pop up rates

We can earn a maximum of 24 coins per mini-game


*Beat Kitty Kadabra at the end of event to earn an extra reward:
Play against Kitty Kadabra and at the end of the Event, if you have more accumulated more points than Kitty Kadabra, you win a special prize: Love is a Battlefield Deco item.
Time: 22 hours

Last event I did not get the GBs even though I planned. So I will go for it first in this event. I have not prepared the fields for drops, so I am not sure about the drops.

After reading one two's post I'm not going for the cloud row. Needs too many coins.

 

Here are my calculations for cloudrow incl. givers (1035 star coins):
Minimum 18 coins need 58 softballs, 275 flowers each and 30 heartstones = 15,813 flowers , 1725 heartstones.
Maximum 24 coins need 44 softballs, 275 flowers each and 30 heartstones = 11860 flowers, 1294 heartstones.

It all depends on your shooting skills.

We only have 60 seconds for each game. Too bad there's no way practice a few times first. At least there's an 18 coin minimum. If that's the worst I can do, I guess it won't be so bad.
Edit: I've just seen, we do get one free practice round. I need it

 

Poppyseed, we do get one round to practice with:

"Note: Each Player will receive 1 round of Softballs to try out the mini-game"

Not much but better than nowt!

 

I really hope the drop rate is good considering we only have 3 fields to get them It's nice we get a sample to try out our skills Good luck to all and may we hit our targets!!

 

I'm glad they thought to give us that free round. I really don't like timed games- I do worse when I feel rushed And I have to worry about beating Kitty Kadabra. I hope her aim is worse than mine. So much pressure.
Using illy and clonahmon's numbers, just to get the complete cloud row, at the very best we have to play 44 rounds. That's a lot! I'll try to do a few rounds every day, just so it's not so much work at the end.

 

Don't think i am going to be very good at this ... I 'll panic and shoot something else

So here is my strategy (apart from rescuing chinaware):
I will do the event, but I won't run mad with it. No supergrow, just CAC will be used.
As I am not really good in shooting either, I presume, I won't get that much done. So be it.

Sidenote: I am not sure, if this will be changed, but it looks like, as if softballs will be converted with a higher price than the flowers/drops themselves, and that with a very short milling time. So my strategy will be to mill as many softballs as I can (without running mad over this event) and have as little coins left at the end as possible.

Why the heck are we now getting silver star coins annd not the copper coins from the other event so that we can stock up on them to get proper stuff.

In Game Currencies: BB, GB, CC, Starcoins, Farmcoins.. it's getting worse and every single new "currency" will have more inflated value than the one before.
BP can you please make up your mind, which currency you want to use?

Just a reminder that the daily gift is 4 hr harvester so you may not want to collect it until event tomorrow I just noticed we are having Happy Harvest Day tomorrow. This isn't going to help my Baha and Rainforest for now. I won the 200% bonus this morning and since my main farm is covered in longterm crops, I have to use that extra help somewhere, right? And the Mill subscription will be available

 

I'm sitting this out (going away for the weekend).

But I'm wondering....
If I play just once and I beat Kitty, will I be getting the final reward at the end of the event?

 

my free try i got 18 coins... and the china is safe
I got 91 drops ...had lots of stables out lots of trees...so am doing something wrong Have never been as low as 91 before...that's with LL completed SO not a great start to the event

 

I got 203 drops from my trees and 10 coins from the free shot & promptly I got the sticker !

ok morning harvest 145 on leak's, all three field's will keep back field leak's 53 the other two for the crop.

 

So far a few hours into the event I have 100 drops, lol miles behind you Oldman49. To be honest this event looks a bit on the dull side, so my strategy will be to just do a little bit. The cloud doesn't look interesting, and I'm not the biggest valentine fan. What's most exciting is to do a tree count before I carefully and with thought place a few forests here and there.
