Aha, thank you Poppy. It never would have dawned without your help. :inlove:

It would have popped up and surprised you when you started the event :p But your question reminded me to stop by my little farm and collect the free prize. It can't possibly do the event, but the base tep giver will be a nice addition.:inlove:

The magic tree in the Glade ... has the Arboretum for 415 stars ...Do you get the actual Arboretum for 415 stars or is it a blue print for it ?

It should be noted that farms who don't have Baha open yet can't access the event, and therefore can't get the base giver. No big loss, I'm thinking, EP's not very good.

I agree, Nellie. It seems unfair to exclude new farms entirely. Those who don't have Baha open now, could surely have used that tep giver when they did finally open it. It's certainly better than Wilsons, which is all my little farm had. So stingy with the prizes
    this time.:(

Btw, the stars give you the actual Arboretum. You can then use the blueprints (from the FSQs) to upgrade it to have even more spaces.

I think it's unfair to new players ...takes a while to get Baha... the prizes arent that great ....So am giving this event a miss ...would sooner keep my barn as it is ...it is worth more to me then this events rewards
So now i will make even more to go in my barn ;)

Thank you for the info on the Arboretum Poppyseed

When I opened this farm, Bahamarama cost 200 stars or something and it took me months. But I never visited the forum and never learned ways to get more stars. Now Baha costs 50 stars and in each of my subsequent farms I have opened Baha on the FIRST DAY of playing. So, in six days, pretty much anyone should be able to open it if they want. You can get fifty stars just with eggs and milk.

The drop rate is... sigh. But, doing the math, finishing in the allotted time will be easy - it's just that since I could do all the donation parts immediately, I wish I could just finish the whole thing and forget about it!

Sorry, but I disagree with the "unfairness" of this event.

It states in the FAQs ......

"From what level can we participate in this event?

You can participate into this event from Bahamarama level 1. ......"

Following the logic, every breeding event would be unfair, as you can't breed without being in a certain level and therefor newer players would be excluded from it.

    Bigpoint can't please everybody.

    Happy Farming

Hi Nellie_Noodles. Knowing that i am veteran farmer. We had events in the past that does not include Main Farm, Green Meadow or The Glade. As you need Bahamerama Island unlocked. It also helps to have Rain Forest Unlocked too.

As Matselleste Pointed out in our Hay Days it cost 200 Stars to unlock Bahamerama. As it would take a while to get 200 Stars from Quests. As it quiet easy to get 50 Stars now to unlock Bahamerama.

Even with Bahamerama unlock you would still have to work hard to boost drop rate for Bahamerama/ Rain Forest unlocked to do well in these kind of Events. At Times Events are aimed for High Level Farmers. So Baby Farms or Newbies would get excluded from certain events as every farm as it earn it way up the levels and unlock lands ;)

Oh, I didn't mean it unfair that new farms can't participate in a Baha event, when they haven't even unlocked access to it yet. :pI just meant it seemed unfair to exclude them from getting the free item, since no participation is required to receive it. They could use it once they do finally reach the island. It just seems wrong, especially since we can get cloud rows before we unlock the stalk. But, no big deal. It's not an incredibly valuable item, by any standards.
Yes, even before the 200 stars, we originally had to collect "Suzy's air miles" to reach Baha. It took forever ;)

OK, so I've devised a plan for obtaining most of the good items, without breaking the bank. Ultimately this event is poorly designed because of the heavy cost to obtain Wave Keys found in the Diamond level of the quests. Here's what I'm considering for myself.

    Room# - Door (Cost) - Prize

    Room 1 - Right Door (1 Circle Key) - 2 PF
    Room 2 - Right Door (2 Triangle Key) - 2 Stars
Room 3 - Middle Door (1 Circle Key, 1 Wave Key) - Event Sticker
Room 4 - Left Door (1 Square Key, 1 Wave Key) - Vault Curtain
Room 5 - Right Door (1 Triangle Key, 1 Circle Key) - "Cobalt" Baha Wonder Stable
    Room 6 - Middle Door (1 Circle Key, 1 Triangle Key, 1 Wave Key) - 20 SSG
Room 7 - Left Door (3 Square Keys) - 2 "Bornholm" Baha Wonder Trees
Room 8 - Left Door (2 Square Keys, 2 Triangle Keys, 2 Circle Keys) - Vault Curtain
    Room 1 - Left Door (1 Square Key) - 20 SG
    Room 2 - Middle Door (2 Square Key) - 20 SSG
Room 3 - Right Door (1 Square Key, 1 Wave Key) - 2 Party Spins
Room 4 - Right Door (1 Circle Key, 1 Wave Key) - Vault Curtain
Room 5 - Left Door (1 Circle Key, 1 Square Key) - 3 "Bornholm" Baha Wonder Trees
    Room 6 - Left Door (1 Triangle Key, 1 Square Key, 1 Wave Key) - 25 SG
Room 7 - Right Door (3 Circle Keys) - "Cobalt" Baha Wonder Stable

Total Keys needed: 11 Circle Keys, 12 Square Keys, 7 Triangle Keys, and 6 Wave Keys.

I'll complete all of the Monkey Tablet quests, giving me 17 Square Keys and 3 Wave Keys.
I'll complete all of the Animal quests, giving me 18 Circle Keys and 3 Wave Keys.
I'll complete only Silver and Gold level Tree Fruit quests, giving me 8 Triangle Keys.

I plan to donate Parrots, Flamingos, Hippos, or Anteaters for the animals and Macadamia, Annona, Tamarillo, Pandanus, Sea-Grape, Boabab trees for the Fruit portion. These animals and fruit are based off of BV to CC ratios given on my market, which is meant to keep the event as cheap as possible.

For reference: This event will cost me 3,260,158.48 CC to complete the above steps. The entire event would cost 10,006,961.04 CC using my current market as the standard values. I find this trade off to be quite reasonable as the only thing of value that I would be missing out on is the one Golden Banana and the extra 4 stars from Room 5.

Hope this helps anyone else navigating through the event but not wanting to give up the farm to complete it.

Hi Mooboy ...i have been playing since 19th sept 2010 ...yes we had a hard time getting 200 stars with suzy's air miles
But we didn't have events as hard as these and they wasn't tailored to a particular field .... Bahamara didn't exist ( think that came into play in 2013 but not sure on that ).... But when ever it was ...We could ALL play

I am not playing this event and doing normal farming ... and now have 56 monkey tablets ...that's the most I have ever had on the first days of any eventxD

Now do I get the Arboretum or not..will it be of helpful to me in the game..is it worth having ?

    Bahamarama came around Thanksgiving 2010.
I remember that clearly cause I went away for the holidays and I was behind most of my neighbors with the miles.

We tend yo use the excuse that events are meant to everyone.
If you are new to a game, any game, you won't have access to certain things, like in RL.

I remember I couldn't finish the first events I played, even though I started in may 2010, when events were simpler.
Like everything, it takes time. Any newbie can finish almost any event if they play actively for a month... and read the forum, the strategies etc...

    Here's my plan:

The doors I will be opening are in blue.

Total requirements: 5 triangle keys, 12 circle keys, 13 square keys, 6 wave keys

To get those keys, I will be completing the following tasks:
The Mask of Dreams (tropical fruits) - L1 silver, L2 silver, L3 silver
The Mask of Wonder (tropical animals) - the entire quest
The Mask of Vision (Monkey Tablets) - L1-3 silver/diamond/gold, L4 silver

This will give me 5 triangle keys, 18 circle keys, 14 square keys, and 6 wave keys.

I'm thinking of donating 404 macadamia nuts and 283 pandas, which will cost me about 1,572,500 CC :wuerg: using current prices in my market.

I will also need a minimum of 290 drops for the Monkey Tablets quest.

If I played this event.... all i would want are the stables and trees...I don't want the givers
Haven't got room for them on my fields and have an inventory full of them

    That plan Looks very tempting:pxD

  18. This morning I got 43 drops from the two fields, one with trees and animals - 35, which I think is a goodly number, with only 18 from the field which is half crops, I think trees and animals give the best results. Five days to go, I think I'll definitely finish this one.

My main farm has received 106 Monkey Tablets, 19 of which were gifts and 3 from Magic Trees. I have a variety of stables out (suits my projects at the moment) with trees on the outside. My other farm which is semi-retired (LOL!) has trees in every field and has got 116 Monkey Tablets just from drops. So it would appear trees give the better drops. I don't know how that would compare with crops though ... :p

I was planning to be thrifty with this event, and had my path all mapped, but that didn't quite work out. My 4 year old niece and her family are here for a few days and she just loves playing the "door game." So, needless to say, I've let her play all she wants. She's currently on her 3rd round in room 3 xD She's just so pleased with herself every time she picks a door and wins a prize. Now we're waiting on drops so she can finish helping me with the game.

My rain forest is in XXL trees, and at night I place animal stalls on baha main. But, during the day I've had pretty good results with drops growing bell peppers on my main field in baha. With water, manure, and a tiki timer, they are ready to harvest in 3 1/2 hours.
I hope everyone is having as much fun as we are with this one. :inlove:
