Is there any chance that we will ever be able to buy them ? Or have another way to earn them more quickly? :) Any tips (other than quests) would be appreciated.

Not a chance. If they even thought about selling them it would be such a small amount available in limited quantities (one per person). The only way other than quests to obtain stars is to do events, which is where I get most of my stars at this point. Otherwise, you're stuck having to finish quests to obtain stars.

Tips: Same as always, focus on easier quests that you can buy the materials for. Older tree fruit quests usually require rare tree fruit which aren't needed by too many players anymore and the price of the fruit is relatively cheap. Then there are the product quests which can also be relatively cheap as well. Some of the newer breeding quests give double the stars that they use to (Cats). You can do some of the early steps of those quests without too much hassle.

You need to put in the work, over time they add up just keep going, there isn't a free ride in this game.

But some events offer a pay your way through, and sometimes there are a few stars to be bought that way.
The quests has for me been the quickest way, pick and choose. If you are good at selling stuff, you can easily (have I been told) buy what you need to complete those. Some of those lower levels of the breeding quests are generous with the stars. (1 and 3rd are usually plain animals as well - easy pickings)

I have worked very hard in the eight months I have been a member. I grow a lot of crops, have over a hundred trees in 3 yards, I have 19 different animals and several more waiting in my inventory until I have more space. I sell my produce at a fair price and I have still managed to accumulate over 9 million coins. I have nothing to spend them on except for seed and water. I have purchased two lots in the Magical Glade with 150 stars that I earned. I simply asked if there was any way to earn, or pehaps to purchase more. Do I sound like I am looking for a "free ride" ? ( I'm Scottish, so I had to look that one up. Curious expression.) I work hard in my real life and this is my relaxation.
I have always tried to be courteous in the forum but I always seem to receive curt and often rude responses. From now on I will ask my neighbors when I have a question, other than technical ones.

Hey Angus7, I'm sorry if you feel my answer was curt or rude. It's not meant to be that way. I do believe that some of the negativity that is in the thread is the fact that there really isn't a positive response overall, because there's no way of obtaining stars easily. Thus, any question regarding "stars" doesn't receive a positive response because there just isn't any positive answer that can be given. The community tries to encourage everyone as much as they can in order to succeed as a whole, and often times, unless we as a community can provide an easy and simple answer we often get negative responses back.

As for stars, we're all screwed. They are a pain to accumulate, and a lot of stars are needed for players to have a full game experience. Personally I've spent 4630 stars, and have another 172 on hand, and I still feel like I need A LOT more stars because there's plenty of stuff to unlock. Let's not get started on Golden Banana's. :wuerg:

I encourage you not to give up on the forums though. There are plenty of ways the forum can help improve the game as a whole. There are a lot of suggestions on how you can grow those 9 million coins and essentially buy stars using that extra CC. Farmerama is a game, and it's meant to be enjoyed, but like any real farm sometimes you have to sell what you have to get what you need and there are plenty of strategies and advice for improving your enjoyment.

Angus7 There is a cloud row that gives a star, but I am not sure it can be bought now...
I checked the normal farm wheel and I spinned 20 times and I didn't see any star. I thought there were stars as prizes...

But you don't have to worry about opening all the runes soon. I am level 91 and I still have many runes locked.
Just aim for the most important ones;)

Angus - keep up the good work. My strategy, when I was hard up for stars, was to only open runes as and when I really needed them. Like Arielh, I still have over half not opened after 6 years of playing and I have plenty of stars still to be used. I may open the Peacock run tomorrow.

WELLLLLLLLLL ! (In Mother Gothel's voice ) It seems there IS a way to purchase stars in packs of 20 and 80 in the current sale. But it seems that you must have "farm coins" of which I have none. Once again, I do not understand what good it does me to have accumulated as of today,10.5 million coins and still not be able to purchase the farm coins in order to purchase the stars which would enable me to acquire the lot of land that I need. It's enough having to purchase wolf feed because I cannot make my own yet, that's fine, I can afford it and it's the only feed that I have to purchase, but the coins are another thing.

I'm ready, bring on the "explanation". -.-

"Farm Coins" are awarded as event prizes which can then be used to purchase other items as the player see's fit. So really, it's just another event prize, the only difference is that you have your choice of prize once you've obtained enough Farm Coins.

Hi Angus7, I've had this farm since May/June last year, so about 10 months now. Personally, I use my millions of coins to buy the cheaper products: Eggs, honey, cow milk, goat milk, etc... and get lots of stars for completing the quests where they are needed. I have spent (just checked my tree) a whopping 4880 stars to date.

My strategy: I do not make the workshops for products that are cheap enough in the market to purchase (like those I mentioned above). When a new product becomes available - like when the cats became part of the breeding animals and you could make the cardboard box in your workshop (or ladders and frogs), I made a bunch of cardboard box factories (6 or 7), set out my cat kennels and very quickly I had enough boxes to get quite a lot of stars. Did the same now with the peacocks and I'm making most of my cc's at the moment from selling all the hand fans (people are willing to pay up to 40000 cc for ONE!, unbelievable! But good for me :pxD)

I spend a LOT of my coins (cc's) on products or even animals but it has allowed me to gain all these stars and I have 94 available at the moment. Go through the quests, if they ask for 300 gold leaf and you only have 100, there is no shame in buying the other 200 in the market (providing of course that the price is reasonable).

Good luck and I hope that you get the stars you need :)

Thank you Brakenjan84 ! Take note everyone: Information delivered politely and with a little humor is much more graciously received than put downs and snippy "advice". :);) To the market !:D**********************************************
