Despite Mischa's early antler drop I am feeling hopeful for them all..
I did this "dodgy" compilation so that you may recognise the individual mothers.... just in case they produce..
What do you think??? ;) Am I being too hopeful or do the all look promising?? :) :)

Geez, laying down like that they ALL look kind of plump to me! :) Even Elsa looks kind of thick through the middle! That is a great photo of the expectant moms!:inlove: Fingers and toes crossed!:p

Is it possible to have 6 reindeer babies on the way??? :music: Which female had to be taken home early from rutting male???

I think it is Katya as she is Hectors mom! :)

Well done Sand -Very well done... I can't believe you are following so closely. Yes it was Katya that might not have been pregnant due to limited time with (her) bull. I wasn't hopeful for her but, she is naturally a slim girl (but she looks pregnant to me). Mischa was with Hector for 8 weeks so she should have been, but she shed antlers 6 weeks early (older girls can sometimes not accept young boys) but she's huge... (hopefully not just a fatty)... I am feeling very positive... :)

xDI am just glad I remembered! This is my favorite thread as I am not on face book, so I :inlove: coming
and seeing what your beautiful herd is up too! Hopefully Hector charmed the older girls as he has truly charmed all of us!;)

I hope that Mischa did enjoy being with her "toy boy" for all those weeks. I agree with sanddollar they do all look a little plump so I am keeping everything crossed for you as well!

Party Time ladies (& Gents maybe???). You can put a tick against Mischa's name!!!!
I have seen the first belly kicks, three, not obvious enough yet to really catch on camera. Thank goodness the theory on early antler drop DOESN'T mean not in calf.... Phew

Okay so we know that Hector was up to the task set him .... but was Katya's paramour quick off the mark.

Comparing Mischa's belly and Katya's, I can't see a lot of difference but only time will tell. So let the tummy watch continue.

Elsa has dropped her second antler today, but she isn't on belly watch yet as she joined the "rut" late. So if she does calf (which she will, will be late May- Hector loved her though) she'll be a late calver.

Well there you go, that is why she looks a little slimmer than the other girls! :D A few weeks behind makes a difference in her size! She sure looks less intimidating with her antlers gone!;)

Add Twiggy to the belly kick list... so at least 2 on the way but still hopeful for them all (dare I say that???).

Peace and tranquillity .... A lazy Sunday afternoon video. I love the fact I can sit amongst them and they are totally relaxed. :)

Sorry folks, no updates unfortunately, I would have loved to spend these last couple of beautiful Spring days belly gazing and taking photos but knew I should use them to really get down to creasoting (wood preserving). So that's what I have been doing while all those calves have probably been doing gymnastics in their mothers tummies... :) AND I've missed them.... but chores need to be done:(

Even persuaded hubby to help and didn't get "THE" picture of Boris trying to play with stepladder hubby was standing on... It was quite funny - thought hubby may end up in a heap covered in wood preservative or even kebabed :) No evil thoughts from Boris - he was just trying to help! :)

xDVery funny stuff Karen! I can just picture Boris playing with the ladder your hubby was on, and him trying to do a balancing act!:p As for the gymnastics in their mothers tummies, I would rather not picture that! lol:oops: Poor mothers! ha ha
