Nice buffalo, thanks 12ss12. I wonder what animation they will come up with. Sometimes I zoom in and watch the critters. Can't figure out what the otter is doing, the one jumping up and down. Not to worry though, I don't do it with trees or plants.

 

I saw mention of beginning with 5 extra event plants for events as well, but not sure if that is confirmed?

Seems premium users would be missing out if they didn't include the increase in drop rate with this version.

 

I been playing Farmerama into my 7th year. As we have silver, gold and platinum account of Premium

Just wondering the pros and cons to premium accounts. Which features really benefit us from premium account...

Question 1) +5 Event Plants ? Not every event gives us event plants, such as Breeding, Barn donations, Drop Donations !!

Question 2) I mostly grow Tropical Trees on Baha and Rain Forest. So what the point of unlimited water as it cannot be used on Trees !!

Question 3) More Manure ? If you harvest Trees or Animal or Workshop pens. How can extra Manure help me ?? As Manure helps speeds up crop farming. During Crop Events Manure get very expensive so extra storage is no use to me. Also Manure has no use during Breeding Events too ??

Question 4) I am one of those Farmers who has a Cloud Row that gives three extra Farm wheel Spins every 72 Hours. So that works out 1 Extra Wheel Spin Daily on Top of What Fuzzles gives us Daily Login reward ??

There is only couple of features that going to benefit me 1) Auto Tree Harvest, 2) Extra Neighbours and Gifts.... I am debating is it worth paying Premium on a Monthly Basic just for few features that is handy for my Daily farming needs...

I shall have to see how good it will be or not.

This is what I also thought Cassie! We have Buffaloes in Greece, 3 years ago I went a school trip to lake Kerkini in Serres and we saw many of them!

 

African/Asian Buffalo (aka water buffalo) and American buffalo/ Bison,( aka American Bison) are actually 2 different animals.

 

Mooboy, I hear ya!! I don't get the membership but I don't see the benefits either of what you have pointed out. I did read where there is a possibility of being able to save your farm when you remove it for an event. THAT I would !! Instead of the reg spin how about a Party spin

I actually did a long critique of the old system, and from what I see, this premium package is worse. The post can be found here.

Here's how I had labeled the benefits from that post.

Here's my current valuation of the benefits:

Exceptional - Layout Saver - 3 Layouts per playfield
Good - Goodies - 120 SG, 60 SSG, 60 STM, 40 PF, 3 Party Ticket.
Mixed - +5 Event Plants
Good - Neighbors and Gifts
Mixed - +200 Water, +800 Manure, Free water use on all plants and stables.
Good - Auto Tree Harvester
Bad - 1 Free Spin per day.

So now I'll compare the two.

What they kept:
Good - Never ending supply of water
Mixed - Extra daily farm wheel spin
Good - Auto-Tree harvest

What they kept, but modified:
Mixed - Large neighborhood (Improved, old version only allowed more neighbors, this version allows for more gifts as well, which is essential if you're goin to increase your neighbor load.)
Good - Double the Manure Pile (Improved, instead of doubling, they add a flat 800 more.)
Good - 25 SSG, 10 PF each month (Improved, 120 SG, 60 SSG, 60 STM, 40 PF, 3 Party Ticket.)

What they removed completely:
Good - 1 bottle of pheromones when breeding (This was at least beneficial, it wasn't really needed.)
Bad - Extra premium customers in the farmhouse
Bad - Two free resets of customers in the farmhouse
Bad - Direct Garden Access
Bad - Direct Meadow Access
Good - 5% more drops on items (Uhm...the single best benefit from the old premium is gone?!)
Bad - Weeds be gone
Bad - Twice as much at the market

What they added:
Mixed - +5 Event Plants (Ok, so maybe this was the reworking of the 5% items? Either way, it has limited benefit.)
Exceptional - Layout Saver - 3 Layouts per playfield (This is really the best benefit in the current premium package.
Mixed - +200 Water (Really only helps make larger quantities of PF or Trade Crafts at a time.)

I would like to add to what Decree said about the new premium package. The new package appears to be 2X the cost of the old diamond pack. I double checked since one of my farms had renewed on October 24th, the old price was $3.99 (paid for the year all at one time $47.8. Not worth the new price to me.

 

Wow, that really does make it worse. Taking away the extra 5% to item drops and raising the price means I won't be getting this new premium package. It's a shame too, I really liked the layout saver idea.

Thanks 12ss12, for the info on the Full Moon Bat Event! It looks like fun to me!! Very interesting graphics too!

 

Actually, I very much LIKED having weeds be gone!!!! The 5% more drops I never noticecd, but also howie donuts do that much better!

VERY GOOD --- helps a lot for those of us who don't want to buy event packages. Adds 4 hours to a full day of event items.

Exceptional - Layout Saver - 3 Layouts per playfield (This is really the best benefit in the current premium package.

+200 Water (Really only helps make larger quantities of PF or Trade Crafts at a time.) Again, disagree!!! The old way, I could make large quantities of PF at once, now I can only make batches.

Also do enjoy the free spin, just for the occasional PF. harvester OK when its a coupon, else.. not so much.
