Perhaps too much coffee is not help you think straight why you strategy is 180 Fields as Moonlight Playing Field is actually is 202 x 1 Fields....

The Concept for this event is to get as many spooky crops as you can. So of us are fortunate enough to have Moonlight Mania Cloud Row. I know there are quiet a few farmers who does not have this to help reduce Spooky Crops Growing time.

But I mostly save up my Super Grow and Suzy Super to be used to speed up reaping of crops it short Event Window as they are more effective to me in this concept than using these during normal farming except for Nuking Event Crops...

As SG and SS is always more useful Growing Spooky Crops. Not only it helps speed up stocking up spooky crops in our barns but it also great up to reap Tool Drops and Event Drops in Moonlight Playing Field we Cannot Place any Crop/Animal Trophies nor we cannot place any Howie Donuts either.... SG and SS it all we have to help us get more Drops !! in the Moonlight Playing Field

I always go looking for quests to do that gives Super Grow and Suzy Super Grow. There are many quests that give you these. The other reason why i use Super Grow and Suzy Super is that you cannot buy Spooky Crops in the Markets !!

Based on my Calculations you need about 8 Harvest of 202 Fields Full of Jelly Ear Fungus. But you will need at Least 6 CAC,12 Terror Bouquet plus Pinkie Pie Pie

This is the best Crate o goods that BP has come up with, and it is attached to my Favorite event... MM.
My MM days are often like clonahmons strategy, and I am growing coffee for a FSQ as Shimmer suggested.
Sure is nice when things fall into place.

Not off to a great start here....

Only 6 drops with full LL at 30%. Field was full of trees, darklight fireflies and ghosts.

2nd farm with same configuration got 15.

 

I'm looking forward to this event. I'd like to get the cloud row.

So far have got 12 drops from tombstones I had left in from the last event ...not great for completing LL

Another 51 minutes for my first harvest ...so am going to make a coffee and sit in the sun until then

 

12 is actually pretty good. Given that the event is 6 days I don't think drops will really be a problem.

 

17 for me after the second harvest (only event crops and Monster Pumpkins though). Think this may be a nail biter!

 

With the drop rate being so low I don't see how anyone can finish, unless they tweak something. On my top 4 farms I got a range of 10-15 initial drops. All with 30% in the LL rune, 8 hr crops with a few trees. I don't see being able to get 750 in 6 days.

 

I got 15 from my first harvest of ghosts only, with full trophies for LL. The rough average seems around 12 (very rough average!)
Most people can expect roughly 3 crops a day worth of 8 hour crops (two during the day with water, one at night) which gives 18 harvests over 6 days... plus the initial harvest is 19.

We need 750 drops for the cloud row so we'd be hoping for at least 39 drops from the initial harvest to be able to finish :-(

Most of us can tweak this - effective extra growing time during the day with the cloud row and terror bouquets, some extra drops at night from longer growing trees and darklight fireflies, and presents from neighbours and magic trees. I doubt all of that is going to be enough to TRIPLE the drop rate as we need to. We have to hope the drop rate will be changed or almost nobody will get the cloud row.

I got 29 from a field of glowmold (8hr crop) + 9 trees, and my LL is only at 27%. So basically the same setup as Ann, but with lesser trophies. How do they configure the drop rate? I can't make any sense of it.
I'm afraid to know what kind of drops the event crop is giving.

 

I can't figure it out. Thought I usually get 9 when starting seeds but am only getting 6 when using water, manure sg and ssg. Can someone help me?

 

What size field, pocahontas? 1x1s should give 6 with CAC and ssg, and 2x2s should give 9.

 

Pocahontas: Could you have missed the CAC? Though this would still give you 7 (unless you have replanted).

 

I got 20 from what I think was 6h crop. I grew what I needed, not for EP. Last time I thought it was going to down the drain with the drops I ended up with leftovers, so I'm not worrying. Besides - worrying just give the wrong kind of wrinkles anyway, just not worth the effort I would need to put in to worry Now it's cac, Suzie, SG and high hopes. Should nudge me in the right direction.

Yes, I think you should make room for some "recycling" of all that coffee

I just got 18 drops from a field of event crops in 2x2 plots. So, either the drop rate has been increased or the event crops give better results than others.

 

I just got 27 from a full field of event crops: I estimate that we will need to plant four or five lots of event crops a day to get the required number of sauces! Or longer days! Pass that coffee Clonahmon!

Seriously though, I will get these event crops out of the way and will plant my longest crop two or three times a day and see how that changes things ... eight hours I believe is the longest, that makes three a day, that is the limit! After that, if things don't improve, I will just shut my eyes and ignore the event! (Yeah, right, you all believe me don't you? )

Sure, I believe you. I too will do the same and no positive results, I will ignore the event. You all believe me don't you. I don't have FOCD or Event OCD. Yes, Serious !!

@Mooboy: I had calculated only 180 fields as I have a few spooky trees out
Planted a mix of event crops and normal MM crops and just got my item from jacks shop. NOW the event can start Yeah.
Terrorbouqet, CAC and white innocence running. 2x2 fields out for today, nuking with SG just a bit
will rebuild 1x1 fields tonight so that all is in order again.

Could not resist and fed one bat: 1 baha stable as a result... Am I a lucky duck or not??
