I can understand you liked weeds be gone. I'd like to ask that you do a cost vs. benefit comparison using your opinion as to why this is a worthwhile benefit for a farmer to spend money on? Personally, I feel it's a fine addition to the package, it just has such limited use for a benefit that you're paying out of pocket for.

A lot of players do not have Howie Donuts, and they aren't readily available to newer players, or even to players who have been around a while but were never really in a position to pick them up. They also come with the added cost of taking up a field on the farm, and the hassle of needing to move them around. Fortunately, those costs are more than equal trade-offs for the benefits provided.

The 5% premium drop rate, while you may not have ever noticed, does make a difference on those Medium/Hard events which rely on a short event crop and have a low drop rate. They also make a nice boost to events which do not have a limit for use (Cake Event/Vouchers) which allows for additional prizes. It also does not have the trade-off that the Howies have.

I'm still going to completely disagree. My personal evaluation of +5 Event Plants is BAD, especially given what it replaced. However, I did put mixed because I understand some farmers see it as a benefit. I'll explain why I don't like it at all.

The first reason is again what it replaced. The 5% drop boost was a far better incentive. I completely disagree with them removing that benefit, and don't see why they wouldn't have kept the benefit, and added +5 Event Plants. The second reason is that a lot of farmers, myself included, never buy baskets to complete growing events. We use the "nuke" system where we use a small amount of SG and SSG combined with the Fruit Cake and White Innocence with a CAC. I usually use 100-150 SG, and 50 SSG in total to get my crops started. There's always plenty of SG and SSG to replenish these through the wheel and event prizes. I've never had to use BB's to purchase either.

I agree that with the old water benefit you could make much larger quantities at one time, and that batches are annoying. Currently the maximum mill time with a mill subscription is 36 hours (a day and a half), or 108 hours (four and a half days) if you load all three slots in the mill. The added 200 water will allow for 14 PF in one batch for a time of 63 hours (two and a half days), 189 hours (seven and a half days) if all three slots are used. Now again, I'm not disagreeing with your position of liking the old benefit better, and my evaluation on this change was MIXED, because I am aware that players have a preference. I can however state that 7 days worth of milling PF would be more than enough for me especially since I already seem to do just fine with the 36/108 hour batch variety without any issues, which doesn't make the benefit worthwhile personally, especially since this would be a benefit I am paying for, it's just simply not needed. The old system would have been far better for field usage as well, but that doesn't make the current variation of this benefit completely useless. Where you have me confused is what exactly you're disagreeing upon? My mixed evaluation?

My evaluation here was mixed, because most of the prizes off the normal wheel are very weak rewards. It's not something I'd spend money on.

Ultimately this package comes down to what you're paying in real life funds, verses what you're receiving as a benefit. For me, I will pass on this package as it's benefit does not cover the cost in any way. Any real live funds I decide to spend will be used on offers which can better benefit my farm.

sanddollar15, I wonder if this is another appear/disappear character event.
That was a fun event, but the characters were a bit troublesome.
Maybe they will leave the bat to fly around the field and you have to catch it. xD

The characters were troublesome when we had different ones that we had to wait for but I think it went more smoothly when we just had one character. I'm hoping that I can complete the event and then work on the quests that it seems I never have enough time to do:p:)

12ss12, that looks like "Bride of Jack".
pnp, I do not remember an event having one character. Must have been before I became a farmer.
Oh, unless you mean the school teacher. She was always there, and even waved. :D

The rumors remind me of the event we had almost 2 years ago. We had to feed the bats sushi for prizes. Here is the FAQ if you want to see what it was like. It wasn't like when we had to wait for the different characters to pop up.

Yep, before my time. Great prizes though, and looks like a lot of fun.
Thanks for taking the time to find that blast from the past. :)

I sure do hope it's a clone of that event with a bit of an update. Nothing like being able to try to get more PF and GB's.

So this flower event starts on Wed the 22nd? I ask bc I see we are having Happy Stable day 21st thru 22nd. Which means drops for the event may be affected if we participate in the stable day instead of prepping fields for event. I really don't like it when BP does that>:(>:(>:(:(:(

That is correct. The stable day overlaps only a little as it ends in the morning on the 22nd. I'll be putting out my longest stables and workshops to collect both the bonus and still maintain a good start to the event drop assuming there will be one.

Unless I have read it wrong, the stable day does not overlap the flower event. The stable day ends at 11:00 CET three hours before the flower event begins at 14:00 CET. I will not harvest early and lose drops on the first day. Someone correct me if I have misunderstood the timing.

That is Correct FlaMiss The Stable Day Event will end 3 hours before the Spring into Spring Event Starts. Any Stables Harvested during Spring into Spring just get normal EP

Julie1013 The Stable Day Event will Expire before Spring into Spring Event Starts it will not effect the Drops for Spring Flower Event !! ;)

Yes, but I don't feel I get as many drops from stables as I do from using 1x1 plots so I like to have my fields ready with 1x1's with my longest crop prior to an event:p:p Therefore I have to put away my animals by afternoon before an event. But that is just the way I do my prep. Whatever are we going to do when they start having events using all 5 fields again??o_O:eek:xDxD

I would do a screenshort of my BBs before the event starts. I do not like BP playing with them even if it's just a joke. Errors might occur

    Btw, really?
