I'm thinking the same way as Mooboy and going for as many Potion drops from my first harvest. After that I will place my apple and cherry trees out and get those out of the way;):p But for the love of you-know-what, I really think they could have combined some of these steps!!:eek:o_O:eek:xDxD Good luck everyone!!:D:D

Many thanks to SylvanasW, 12ss12, Mooboy, & Decree for crunching the numbers and coming up with good strategies to get through this event. As always I'm very grateful to you all for the hard work you put into it!

After the initial reaction to plant tons of trees, I checked my Nursery and found it sorely lacking in the "Tons" department. So I'm thinking on the long term of it. I'll plant my 9 Apple and 11 Cherry trees and hope for the best. I never get these events done in the first half anyway. So being patient pays off in the end.

Best of fortune to you all.

*facepalm* I was wrecking my brain thinking what BP could be loving... After I had a lightbulb moment I realized what you were saying xD

I put out 33 cherry trees, a few more apples, growing the longest crop, and leaving everything until after the event has started. The event feels a bit "need to read instruction", I'm sure our country has a law against reading instructions. gaahhhh, so glad you guys will hold my hand and tell me what I should have done after I mess up. :inlove:

May the drops be with you! *Jedi wave*

The only problem I see with this event is that you have to be level 39 to finish it. My Husband (who "commandeered" my other farm (named EowynR)), was checking the requirements, and doesn't have cow's milk. He can't buy it on the market until he reaches level 39. He's level 34. He will be stuck at the 9th task on one, and I think the 16th task on another until he can level up, and that's before he can even worry about drops.

:music: Reading even more closely.... you only need to do 120 tasks to get the givers and the CR ( there are a total of 150 tasks)
so everyone can rethink things accordingly :p

The last ones on each side are extra givers

If you go to 72 on the Left Side (Pink Cat Kennel - who doesn't want that?)
and 48 on the right side you have the CR and need 1890 fewer lilies, 1830 less crosus and 170 fewer potions

(Math may be wrong - but the concept is right)

Chances are (for a medium event) he wouldn't be able to finish the event unless his Trophy Level is 28% or higher. The good news is that event crops usually have pretty high EP rewards as far as crops go (60 for a 4 hour crop compared to the 28 for a regular crop of the same time, and 80 for a 6 hour crop compared to 41ish), and that should help him level up some.

The reality is that we've all been at a point in the game where we couldn't complete an event for any number of reasons. A big part of the game is getting a farm to the point where it can complete events. He's still able to participate, so hopefully he can gain a bit of EP and whatever prizes he's able to get from the event and be closer to completing future events.

It seems that the item that rewards the crate containing event drops (Blossom rain and it rewards Crate-o Spring Bloom) is only available when buying the giant basket **sighs**

If drops are a problem, I think it's best to avoid levels 47 and 48 on the right side task chain, as those two tasks alone ask for a combined total of 180 drops (L47 = 60 Sprout-A-Seed Potions; L48 = 6 Plant Pots).

Instead, I would do all 75 levels on the left side task chain and up to level 45 on the right side task chain.

Then the total requirements would be:
    • 724 Sprout-A-Seed Potions (including 560 for mill product)
    • 23 Apple Blossoms
    • 26 Cherry Blossoms
    • 4240 Pink Crocuses (including 840 for mill product)
    • 4720 Spring Lilies (including 420 for mill product)
That means 350 fewer potions than the max 1074 required to complete the event.

It would also get you an extra Squirty Joy item - at 8000 EP/TEP every 24 hours, it's probably one of the best EP givers in the game (not counting the ones with multiple upgrades).

Thank you Zerodegrees and Annaquin...that sounds good to me and think this is as much as i would want to do of this event...even if the drops are good
It would give me all that I would like from it;)

Now we know what that extra event giver is for... ;) Got my Candy Surprise Magic Stalk Row, now to focus on the actual event... :p

The drop rate for this event appears to be very reasonable, if not outright good.

It might seem that way Decree, But that was with regular crops and trees and not the Event Crop... We shall see

People are reporting that not every apple tree is giving an apple blossom. There was an update from the DE mods saying the issue has been reported to the Game Team and they are currently working on a fix.

Edit: Looks like the problem has been fixed, but they're still working on a solution for those who have already harvested their trees.

195 drop from my initial harvest so I am pleased with that:music::music: Planted my trees and hopefully that little snag zero reported is cleared up by harvesting time;):p Both crops are going. If I figured correctly, we will need about 4 harvest of each crop. Have fun :D:D

I think I harvested after the blossom glitch was fixed (I try not to harvest exactly when an event is launched, just to avoid initial glitches like this one), so I'm good with the blossoms. 139ish drops and now getting ready for the first Crocus re-planting (water, SG, manure, Suzy's SG).

150 drops. So this event is going to be an easy one, I suppose. Thanks for all the calculations and strategies.
