I have actually managed to accumulate 187 drops from an initial drop of 123 (same as you, Nellie - *spooky Twiglet Zone music*). :music: I'm happy with that. :D

Just a word to the wise - when donating, the produce goes straight away, no warning "are you sure", just poof, gone. So don't donate event crops unless you are really sure you have enough to plant ... we've all done it, haven't we? Some of us are repeat offenders! :inlove:

I got 62 apple drops and 9 cherry drops, from my harvest. And after the panic attack had gone away 139 other drops, and a note for therapy classes for E-FOCD.

I got 198 on my initial first harvest. Got 264 so far. I already got all my 32 Apple Blossom just need another 30 Cherry Blossom in few hours...

Then i can use all 1 x 1 Fields to build up Event Crops for Milling Plant Pots, then i can start working on Event Donation Steps...

There is no need for me to buy any Baskets as i always do well in events. From my experiences that Crops give better Drops than using Animal Stables. I have always been a crops hoarding farmer.

Well Done to those who got a decent about of Drops. It only going to take a couple of days to build up stock of two event crops. Once they are out of the way i will resume to Crops that gives the Best Drops..;)

I completely agree Mooboy. No basket needed here, ever. The drop rate looks fine with my 29% trophies (still need to finish the last one). So it looks like I'll be taking a break from farming crops some time Friday and I'll make poop to sell for a day then go back to finishing up drops.

I still see a lot of posts regarding a "low drop rate". For anyone who is struggling, or looking at these drops and thinking "there's no way I can complete the event" I'd like to offer up a more detailed log of what I do to complete these events. It's the strategy I use every growing event and I haven't failed to complete an event since my farm became event ready.

The first step is to pre-prepare your farm a day before the event goes live. Typically I will do this by planting my entire farm with trees. All five fields completely covered in trees. I avoid using XXL or XL trees as the drop rate is associated with the base time of whatever you're going to harvest. I'll start by putting my rare trees out, then I'll add some high value/high demand trees or trees I seem to be low on in my barn. Then I'll fill out the rest of the farm with the highest barn value trees as this will help me complete future events. Sometimes I will put long crops on one or two of my fields instead.

The second step, after the event goes live, is to harvest the trees and "NUKE" the starting event crop. In order to do this, remake my fields with enough 2x2 to support the starting seed (usually 5-10). In this case there were two starting crops for a total of 20 seeds. So I separated them onto different fields. Putting ten 2x2 fields for the the Pink Crocus on my main farm, and ten 2x2 fields for the Spring Lilies on my Green Meadow. Once the seeds have been planted I use 1 Carrot-apple Chutney, 1 Fruit Cake, and 1 White Innocence. Then I apply Water, Manure, Susie's Super-Grow, and Super Grow to the starting seeds. This will yield 45-90 seeds for both crops.

The third step is to repeat the second step only on a larger scale. In the case of this event I used 44 of each seeds on their respective fields and "NUKED" them again, this time without the Susie's Super-Grow as I tend to have less of that one and I never buy SSG or SG.
This produced a total of 354 seeds for each crop allowing me to convert my fields into 1x1's and re-seed a full field for each.

Since this event has two event crops and only three fields I do my best not to juggle crops if I can avoid it. When I have enough crops I will make all three fields the same crop and that will allow me to harvest and plant more efficiently, as well as to keep track of my crop quantities.

Currently, I calculate that it will take me another 24 hours of growing using only 1x1 fields with Water, Manure and CAC active to have enough crops to complete this event. I wont be using manure on the Pink Crocus as I do not believe it provides enough benefit for its cost. This means that I will have 108 hours left in the event to accumulate drops using different crops which will provide a higher yield of drops, and crops which I can manipulate to speed them up without using more SG. If you are unfamiliar with refinements, or curious, you can find the best posting by clicking here. I highly suggest you do so.

I'm currently over 250 event drops and very close to harvesting another three fields full of Spring Lilies. I expect I'll be near or over 300 drops by the end of it and I'll still have enough time to harvest one more set of crops before the first 24 hours is completed.

On Bahamarama I have animal pens out, this produces animals (for selling, FSQ's, and future events), and helps me by giving me the majority of the manure I will use to speed up my Spring Lilies. I'll sell any leftovers once my Lilies are done because I don't really use them on refined crops either when it's so expensive during events.

I hope this post can help someone who feels they are struggling with the event and drops. The only other factor to consider is my trophy level and that I have the Living Legend rune unlocked which provides a 29% boost in event drops. Having these trophies is absolutely critical to completing events. If you haven't taken the time to do the two quests needed to obtain your trophies, it is my first suggestion. If you don't have the trophies you're missing out on a lot of drops, and given that it is a function of the game in which the developers must program around, they expect you'll have these when they rate the difficulty of each event.

Feel free to ask questions and I'll do my best to help you out. I know others will too. Good luck.

Thank you Decree - very clearly stated - things I had to glean over time all in a nutshell.
Everyone has a little different style so I will share mine - which is only slightly different in that I prepare my fields the day ahead with my longest crops on 1x1's - some 20 hr trees that I am building stock on and always leave out any trees, long stables or workshops that are near harvest the night before until after the event goes live.
When the event goes live I start CAC - White Innocence - Fruit Cake / harvest and convert fields to the needed 2X2's for the event seeds
    - in this case I also used SSG on the Lilies (so with CAC and SSG = 9 seeds/2x2)
If I have enough SG - I plants some refined roses on CF - to give a boost to the drop rate (yields ~90% drop rate in just 35 minutes)
If the event crop is under 8 hrs - I will plant longer crops at night to get a better drop rate - still on 1x1's - I have CAC with PP to cover the event time.

And I have a great group of good reliable neighbors who always send drops.

My LL is only at 27% but I usually finish the events a day or two early with a lot of drops left over.

Now I have to work on being more organized with the planting arrangements - usually takes me a day or two to get everything maturing in an orderly manner. :p

May the drops be with us all!!!

Decree, well said on your strategy concept how to do well in Events. The Point made by Event that it is essential to prepare your farm well prior to an event starting. Giving yourself a good heads up to have good starting block to reap a high amount of event drops on harvesting your farm as soon as an Event Starts...

For example i got 198 Sprout a seed potions on my first harvest for this event. Simply i prepared my farm well prior to this event. It helps lots to read Event FAQ well and also read Event Strategy Postings too as there is good Guidance to help how to do well in an Event. But if Drops are required it is very important to upgrade your Crop and Animal Trophies as soon as possible as they help tremendously with your Drops Even Better to get Living Legend Rune unlocked save the hassle to move your trophies from Field to Field !!...Who say are getting Low Drops might have forgotten to move Crop and Animal Trophies around or not upgrading them either !!

I always end up with excessive amount of event drops. Why because i prepare my farm prior to an event. Secondly it very Important not to leave your Farm Idle, when it is ready for harvest, which helps reaps event drops. Adding up all your Idle time does hamper your event Drop requirements so you have to use Illy SOS Thread.. to get help on Drops..

Both my Trophies are at 29% it has been for very long time. As no real need to get it at 30% my advise to get it too at least 25% you should be able to complete these kind of events...

I always use Mooboy's Nuking Strategy as it make sense to conserve some SG and SS prior to this event as they always come in handy to nuking event crops. As I always start using 2x2 using Super Grow Buffs. I have Harvest 2014 cloud row that gives 5% on Supergrow so no need for me to use Fruit Cake in Gold Slot.

I only use Manure when it is cheap or reasonable price to buy. I hardly put out Animal Pens during or after an Event is completed. Go back to CC making strategy by growing and selling crops.(using refinements helps massively). Also using Alchemist Crafts also helps reap Crops quicker too. Refinements have taken away all Weeds Effects now weeds no more :D Refinements now added 2% better water Effectiveness on all Refinement crops !!

My Farming Concept Differs to Decree as I now always Grow Trees on Bahamarama. One of reasons for this Baha milling animal feeds most of them takes 30 to 40 Mins to Mill not very effective in my views. As you can easy consume more Baha Animal Feed than you can produce to mill !! Second Reason Baha Fruit Prices Sell for very good price in the markets. Baha Animal Prices costs just as Much than the Baha Animal Feed Price, so it makes no sense to do this unless your farm is full of Coloured Pens !! Vial of Growth reduces Baha Trees by 20%. It is an Gold Slot Buff !!

So for it it is Spring Lilies for Evening/Night Crop. Pink Crocuses as a Day time Crop as I have Rose Bud unlock, which currently gives me the best Drops for Events.

I normally eat several CAC with PPP during an event. Since i have learned from mistake ages ago to forget to eat my CAC it is far more cost effective using it with PPP !!

I am here to help, same as Decree to give Guidance to do well in events. Now i am going to start working on left and right side doing these steps ;)

    Happy Farming Everyone xD

Why not? For me the TEP is the most tempting (19000 every 2 days is wow :) ) and the crate is nice too. Plus you buy it using CCs (not BBs or euros :) )

    Thank you SylanasW
Just Found the FAQ for it
Its probably not worth it to me ...I make more than 19000 in a day from cloud rows already
Basically the only thing that I would gain from it is one Farm coin

    Morning update:

Just over 24 hours into the event I've completed my growing of Spring Lilies and have 387 Sprout-A-Seed Potions collected.

My strategy for the day is to grow Pink Crocus. Once that is completed I will change my farms over to Chickens and sell Manure for the rest of the day. Before going to bed I will replace the Chickens with a long (Refined Raspberries maybe?) crop. My event drops should see a decent decrease in rate collected, but not enough for me to worry about not completing the event.

Each person must come to their own conclusion. In this case, the CR is a yes for me. As you pointed out, the real prize in this CR is the possibility of a Farm Coin. It seems very clear that BP has decided to use the Farm Coin as a standard currency for prizes. The chance to add to my Farm Coins is very enticing.

While 750,000 CC is a lot of coin, it ensures I will have a place to put those future Deco Items which will be given out in future events. This is far better than having a deco item sit in my inventory. I also see the added EP and TEP as positives. This farm still doesn't have everything unlocked from Bahamarama and anything which can speed up the process of leveling is also a benefit. Ultimately, there are two different reasons why I believe this CR is worthwhile. First, it's passive EP/TEP + Something. I don't have to do any extra work once the CR is paid for and the givers have been collected. Every 48 hours I know I'm going to get a deposit of EP, TEP, and some minor prize (maybe even a Farm Coin). Second, CC's are meant to be spent, they are a replaceable resource, and they are abundant. A year from now, 750k CC won't mean much, but having added a nice chunk of EP and TEP to my farm will mean a lot.

    It's 3 euros for me..

Also don't understand what CR I can buy for CC - the CR on offer I know of, is for real cash, not BB but euro/ my currency. And I don't think it's worth it for me. EP/TEP will come as I sow and reap, farm coin doesn't tempt me either.
