This appears do-able if drop rate is good -- causes too much stress when you have to worry about that drop rate.

Graphics are good as usual -- like the light shining through the forest.

In addition, the prizes are better than usual - Pink Cat, Red Frog, 2 types trees for both mainland and Baha, a stable for mainland and baha, Cloud Row with EP's, extra EP, PF, PS, HHC, CAC, GB as well as the smaller gifts of EP, etc.

UPDATE: 10 hours left: I was able to get the Cloud Row with EP's and Pink Cat but I don't know if I will be able to finish the right side and complete the event to receive the Red Frog and extra EP's. The drop rate always seems to slow down half way through the events (after you have already committed to playing it).

FINAL UPDATE: None of my farms were able to finish but they all got the Cloud Row with EP's and the Pink Cat; some got the Red Frog also. I might have got more but I fell asleep.

Considering the number of hours I play during an event I think that I should be able to finish all "medium" rated events but lately have not been unable to do so. Others have stated they did well with drops from trees (approx 35 per field) but was this typical for all players that planted trees. Planting trees you are basically limited to 1 harvest per day. Crops in the 8-10 hour range normally produce more drops than this because you get 2 harvests. I have planted crops in the past that other players said they were getting good results and had to switch to a different crops because I did not get the same results. Previous "medium" events that I have completed I have been able to do so by planting the event crops and then switching to crops in the 9 hour range and also planting some that I needed in inventory (6:30-8 hr variety). Sometimes I plant the high duration plants (if needed in inventory) but don't like to plant all fields with them in case they provide a low drop rate because of the time required to harvest them. I guess I just don't like the randomness of it -- if player 1 gets 22 drops for lilies then player 2 should get 22 drops for planting the same amount of lilies. Please consider changing this.

When doing an event there is no time to experiment with all crops, etc. to see what works and what doesn't and if you plant a long duration crop and the drop rate is dismal it is hard to recuperate. The FAQ only states what items provide drops not which ones would be best. The changes in the events may be to make it more challenging but only frustrates players.

I know the events are extras and we don't have to play but if you don't want us playing them then why introduce them to the game? I just hope that you correct the drop rate because 1 event it works and the next it is too low.

I love the challenge on the events. It is listed as a medium difficulty. I just noticed that you have to be a level 39 to unlock cow milk. For those of us in lower levels, we should be able to buy or be gifted the cow milk-up to the amount needed to complete the event. I have been farming like crazy and I think I will be able to complete everything else on my own.

    Thank you,
    Roberts

Skipping this event (as usual). Too many events back to back. I no longer spend any money (harvester, mill, etc.) and it's just too much clicking w/o it. I will just casually play a few times a week until things change back to the way it was when I first started playing. We had breaks between events. We used to be able to get a cow milk tree or goat milk tree during certain events. Also the giant stables are gone now too just to name a few reasons why I don't participate anymore. Just letting you know because I'm a long time player and my voice has not been heard and if I don't speak up you will never know how your customers feel lately.

I also think it would be great if low-level players would be able to get the cow milk and the Baha products needed in the event - either by being allowed to buy the items required or by getting them as gifts. E.g. You could make a parcel containing the items needed that low-level players could buy with CCs; maybe even two - one with cow milk and one with Baha plants/tree fruits. That way more players will be able to participate in the event - and that would be great, because it looks fun! :) xD;)

I love this event. The graphics are great and the two event crops are stunningly beautiful - can we please keep them after the event??? The prizes are great, esp the pink kitty, and the requirements are entirely reasonable. I love that we are using small amounts of tree fruits and the shorter crops, doable amounts for newer players but a single click for people with a well stocked barn. I like that it's broken up into many small steps so each individual step seems easily doable. The drop rate thing needs adjustment in general, but so far for this one it's keeping pace for me - but drops ought never to be a reason why someone can't finish an event, if they grow the crops. If someone logs in once a day, they aren't going to be able to do the crops, so it's ok if they can't do the drops. But if someone puts in the effort to grow all the needed crops - the drops need to be there. Just as it's not fair to have an event that is otherwise very reasonable - but then the cow milk requirement will cause progress to grind to a halt. But overall, this is one of the best events that we've had!

  7. This event looks to be a good one, I only got half way through the Moonlight one; I lost interest and just gave up - entirely due to the low drop rate.

Whinge over, now for the plaudits. Love, love, love the pop up that shows you what is required for each task. Just superb planning, makes it so easy to calculate what is needed on an ongoing basis. In addition, the tasks are ticked off, which keeps score more easily. I have far too much going on to want or need a spreadsheet, which I've done in the past. Much as I appreciate the work done by the strategy players, this is a great innovation.

Pretty crops, I too hope they are kept - it used to be the case that event crops were kept in the game, going into the inventory to be accessed when you reached the level set.

I also remember vaguely, that a certain event item was available for 'too low-level' players to buy on a temporary game-time only - can't remember which one, must have been some years ago.

Other than those hopes, this is an event I shall turn some of my farm over to growing event crops, the requirements don't seem too onerous and it's a long event. So far the drops have been reasonable.

Fingers crossed, this is another winner. Oh, and the little Panda with the Candy tree surprise is almost too cute. Nice touch giving them out over a series of events, and also to let the players buy the cloud with ccs, instead of bbs. Yes, expensive, but doable for all but the newest players.

I have to agree with you that if you grow all the required event crops you should receive enough drops to complete the event. This would also make it fair as some lower level players who may not be able to grow carnations, etc. to get the higher drop rate.

  9. Once again, the event crop drop rate is not producing enough. Ten potions from a field of lilies, four from a field of crocus. I love this event, the only drawback is the number of drops from the event crops.

Update after harvesting a field of lilies - 14. However, a field of crocus brought forth one lonely vial of potion - yes, just one for a whole field.

How is one supposed to supply the event with potions and make flower pots, when the drop rate is abysmal.

Very disappointed with the drop rate: after harvesting 3 fields full of 1x1 pink crocus (and using carrot bread, easter jelly and apple-zucchini bread and 22% trophy) I got 18 drops total. And this is happening during the Happy harvest day. Does not bring much hope.

Drops are heavily dependent upon base growing time. Once you've finished collecting enough Pink Crocus and Spring Lilies try switching to a longer crop, you'll find there's a big difference in the amount of drops. Considering we're not yet half way through the event, you've still got plenty of time.

  12. After I wrote this, I wanted to apologise in advance if it appears aimed at anyone. It isn't really, just a general airing of my disappointment that the drop rate has spoiled again a really great event that had everything going for it. After the Moonlight fiasco, I thought the devs / back room boys would have realised the drop rate is the one thing players can't control and made adjustments.

I realise the growing time governs the drop rate, but that doesn't account for the lower than normal drop rate I've experienced with this event. Three fields - two of lilies, one field of crocus which gave one drop - should yield more than 18 drops.

In the ten years since I've been playing, I've never known such a low rate even for the notoriously low event crops.

I still need 460 drops, I'm averaging 70 per day, including 5 from the magic trees and help from neighbours - we don't have seven days left to get the drops. I also don't have the time to spend planing my days round harvesting. I will need to average 150 a day to finish this event, that's unlikely with my work schedule.

Yes, I will switch tomorrow to trees and pens, workshops but I don't grow other crops. I have found once I do that the drop rate increases dramatically, but it begs the question - why are essential event crops always low drop yield - most of them are relatively long to harvest time?

I got 1 drop off the full field (198x1) of crocus. (again carrot bread + easter jelly + apple-zucchini bread + 22% trophy + Happy harvest day)
I mean no offence to anyone's opinion, but something is not right here.

As of right now I still need 420 drops to make the coveted 120 steps to get the CR. At this rate - no hope.

On this event I am agreeing with HoppalongCassidy's above post. The drop should be more generous than they are on the event crop. I do not want to pay for an event. I know some are okay with that, for me there has to be a real possibilty of finishing an event without spending SG and pay for drops. If we , the players, lack the time due to our life that's one thing. But if players time it, grow the event crop, manure and water, then this should be enough to complete it.

I planted roses overnight. All 3 fields (carrot bread, CAC, 29% living legend trophy), harvested and got 52 drops. This event like the previous one is not doable. Even if I plant just roses for the 6 days I'll still be short off drops. BP please reconsider your game strategy...
I am a mentor and for the last 6-9 months I constantly see people dropping the game, never going to level 40. If I had been just starting playing I would have dropped as well.

The graphics are cute and the prizes are decent but I will not be able to finish due to the low drop rate. Even with my longest growing crops the drop rate has been too low to advance any further. I'm stuck in a spot I probably won't be able to get past before the event is over.

I am usually a very positive person, BUT I must agree with most of the above posts. If you take the time to plant the event crop, use manure and water, harvest on time and replant, you should get enough
drops to do the event! I had a field of 1x1 lilys (62 count) and usually getting 5 or so drops and this morning I got ZERO! not one! So that was a waste of my land, water and manure, which by the way is through the roof on my market! :( This is or should be a fun event, the prizes are good (trying to get to the Pink Cat):p but because of poor drops again, it is looking more and more like a big waste of my time!
I really hope the BP team gives a long hard look at what they are doing, I am not saying it should just be given to us BUT if one takes the time and effort to play the game:p they should be able to get the prizes! I am at level 93!

The drops let this event down as usual ....refined carnations manured and watered .. in 3 fields over night and getting 17 drops :wuerg:

AND having to donate 50 lettuce and 1 cows milk to get stickers ...these should be given free for entering the event... they go into an album that hasn't got any pages left to stick them on..... never be seen again>:( You don't get rewards from them ...what is the point in getting them ???

I think this event is the straw that broke the camel's back. For the past three events, you have repeatedly made mistakes with the drops. You limit them to certain fields, but you don't adjust the rate to make it possible. I'm tired of spending money on a game that keeps becoming more and more impossible. It's not worth it. The drop rates were okay at the beginning. Now I'm hardly getting any drops. For example, I have one field with spring lilies and trees. Two days ago, I was getting 20-25 drops each time I harvested. Now I'm getting less than five. It's ridiculous. You are losing a paying player.

Events have never been like these we have been getting lately ....I have been saving BB's to buy my recipes for the confectioners ...but am buying drops to get the cloud row with them...Any more events like this and I will be looking for another game to play ..this game is becoming stressful because of a low drop rate... games are meant to be FUN ...this isn't

In fact i might save another 4 BB's and buy a cloud row to put the four givers on and get CC's from it ...I don't need another crate with Farm supplies ...have one already and i get enough EP's and teps daily from the cloud row etc

I only wanted the pink cat from this event ...I have that ..I'm happy ;)
