    Good ideas from FootloopGrove.

    With regards to the high requirements of Drops, please sort out the 'random' element.
    Today I harvested two fields of Honey Dew Melons from Baha. Results from farms ranged from 29 drops down to 11 drops for a single field.
    Totals for both fields:
    Farm 1 (this farm) 54 drops.
    Farm 2 40 drops
    Farm 3 50 drops
    Farm 4 46 drops
    Farm 5 35 drops
    I don't think this difference is acceptable. This farm is level 100 and the other four farms are level 98.

    Please tweak the drops so they are equitable. Thankyou.

    As usual there are too many crops and too many drops required.

    Only 41 drops from 5 full fields of event flowers. :(:(
    You have got to be joking BP :(:(

    I have finished the event. On the positive side I liked the prizes. Stars, Pf, wonder stables are always welcome. :):)
    The shell game was a waste of time.

    Only 33 drops from 5 full fields of event flowers also, that's not enough to mill 1 bag of jewels.:(:(:(

    I just harvested 5 Fields Full of Trap Flowers can only get an Average of about 40 Drops from Trap Flowers. It we can only Harvest Trap Flowers about 4 times a Day that gives us about 160 Jewels per Day.

    As we need 1000 Jewels to complete this Event. We need at Least a Target of 200 Jewels per day. But for me as old timer High Level Farmer. I even planned my farm well to get good harvest of Drops on 1st Harvest only managed to get 126 Jewels.

    We have to Grow 18700 Traps Flowers, which takes a while to do. The Drop Rate from this Event is Dismal using 5 Fields does not make any difference at all in terms of Drops of Jewels.

    I am not the only high level farmer to do this. There seem to be a bug with the Manure Market too. Can see pages with nothing in them to buy !! >:(:wuerg:

    I AM TOATALLY DISSATIFIED WITH THIS EVENT>:(. I am fairly new to the game but i have already managed to open Bahamarama. However this event makes you grow countless special crops and prohibits you from growing anything else,and personally i need to go inside my barn to look at my inventories i need to purchase more water for my water tower and everytime i do so in all my fields including bahamarama i get nailed with a negative charge,that is completely ridiculious. I f you were trying to make a good first impression on someone new to the game,you have failed Farmerama or whoever you are,i have the mind to just quit and tell everyone to boycott you. Please fix this event or get rid of it in the future because i do not see this as a healthy challenge to those of us who like a good challenge,this is a very negative event and i am not making a joke either,please correct this issue.

    .......and it certainly... 'would be nice when we play our games not to have negatives added'!!:wuerg: It just isn't necessary.

    The only negative Ive been seeing with this event is all the negative talk about how this is so bad.
    I was enjoying the event until I came here and read all this. I think you people have made your point. Enough said. I mean really.. It's all over this forum. lol Its a game- relax....

    I LOVE this event. Please do many many more like this. I have already been able to feed the weasel 10 times.
    I'm getting plenty of drops with overnight carnations. I love trying to outwit the weasel. Its a fun April fools event.

    You are certainly entitled to your opinion, CylentLea123....

    As am I and others also.

    I'll stick with Science - in this case Brain/Pyschological Science - and making an effort to protect our children, and adults who haven't had the interest or opportunity to learn about Subliminal suggestion/programming, especially through Gaming. The temptation to do just what you have said, instead, is great.
    Yet, there must be a reason(s) why "Its all over this forum." Wouldn't you agree?

    Might want to re-read some of those posts - especially in other threads - that you have so quickly dismissed, saying: "Its a game - relax...."

    I can take a joke, and I possess the ability to see one meant as such... so I have no issues with this event's silly/humorous concept. It's actually quite creative. I consider this to be a fun, festive, worldwide observed holiday based event, with great graphics. JMHO. Others may not feel the same, but to each their own. As it's been pointed out many times before, event participation is voluntary not mandatory, just as the same applies to us logging onto the Farmerama server, no? If one does not agree with an event's concept or it's possible moral impact... leave your feedback stating your thoughts and opinions as many have done, and move on. You can simply choose to shut your PC off, and walk away. Next.

    It's really sad that the feedback threads lately have become the stomping grounds for personal protests and attacks, because these threads are only provided to us so that BP can see/hear our feelings and thoughts about the events they create and provide for us... they are not provided as a place for farmers to argue or bicker with each other over our differences in opinions, feelings, thoughts or beliefs. :sleepy:

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    The main issue for me with this event is the once again less than adequate drop rate, which has become an ongoing and worsening problem lately. Medium difficulty events have become Hard events for the majority of higher (not the highest) level farmers, and now the lower level farmers have little to no chance of completing such drop dependent events without spending hard earned money on extra drops, baskets or SG, etc. Events and mini events are flying at us from every direction lately, one after the other. And way too frequently we have multiple events/mini events overlapping each other all hitting us up for money. Enough already, ease up BP. Not everyone has the new increased amount of discretionary dollars that you now want out of us in order for us to be able to keep up with all of the constant changes and never ending new content that is being added to the game. It really leaves me wondering if the few extra dollars you are actually generating for the company by using this new "pay to play" tactic is at all close to breaking even with the amount of farmers that quit the game, close down/abandon their farms and buy NOTHING at all any more, ever again.
    Food for thought BP -.-
    8)We can all take a joke, and appreciate the humor...but not all of us want to close our eyes to the unintentional harm it could do to the defenseless and unwary.
    Yes, of course, we can, and do, choose not to support what we see as harmful - while still enjoying our farms to the full.
    It takes ALL of us to make a Community, express our diverse opinions/concerns, and still value and care for each other fully.
    I enjoyed reading your post, and agree with your summary of Event drops, etc., lately.
    I'm not closing my eyes, I just choose to see things differently. This is only a game, and there are way bigger evils out there in the real world and on the internet to spend my energy obsessing about :)
    I, like some others on this thread don't like how long it takes the event crops to grow and how many event items/drop items to make just one item. Usually I overlook events due to this.
    8) It's o.k. to see things differently - we are all products of our life's experiences and thoughts. Everyone has their own viewpoint/opinions.
    Yes, it is a game - on the surface. A deeper examination from a different, psychological, viewpoint, taking into account a different paradigm, results in seeing the less obvious.
    Yes, too - there are way bigger evils out there in the 'real' world that you're entirely free to "spend your energies 'obsessing' about"....but where in that 'bigger' or lesser evil does the corruption of innocent, unsuspecting minds fall?
    It seems important, to me.
    And so, that is my opinion to which I am entitled, and I do acknowledge and appreciate yours, also.
    Btw, there do not have to be negative labels of any kind attached to diverse and interesting discussion. Saying things like "stomping grounds for personal protests and attacks", "argue or bicker", serve only to send a discussion or points being made way off track in a negative way.
    This entire subject was introduced to alert and caution those who remain unaware of the subliminal negative psychological harm that can be done, especially to young ones who are so very impressionable.
    Second impression:
    I must admit, that I am not really worried about the drops and crops to grow. But for low level players it is really a hard game.
    Yes, on first sight, 18750 crops are high.
    But look at the last events:
    Spring event 12400 event crops total plus lots of other crops to be donated, 1024 drops, fields for plants & drops 3
    MM event March 4788 event crops, 756 drops, fields for plants & drops 1
    I don't have the numbers of February or January grow and throw events at hand, but I think it was almost the same.
    So when you compare, requirements are not too bad in this event and I think, that the first look on the numbers is quite shocking. leading to a negative feeling.
    I actually like this event beside the points made already about the "story around". Graphics are nice as always.
    And I love, that with each single step you are getting a price. So even a low level player has a chance to get something nice.
    To make it more fair for lower level players, why not introduce events depending on the level.. easy for lower.. medium for middle (50-100 level) and hard for 100+level with adequate requirements and prices??
    I think, that the discussion about the event story could lead to the situation, that BP is thinking a bit more about the stories around an event and their impact. Could be, that they didn't see that point.
    Good Luck everybody
    Hope that BP is taking that into account with their next events.
    Hello @PeepsCA and @CylentLea123
    I would just like to address a little on your comments, a moment, please, if you will.?
    You're right we are all free to walk away., however; this form is set up for our feedback; as quoted,"Please post your constructive comments, positive and negative, regarding _______ Event in this Feedback thread. We are looking forward to capturing your initial reaction to the event, as well as the final opinion after participating in the event.
    Please be sure to bring arguments for supporting your statements, simple comments saying you like it or hate it will not help the Team understand what goes great, and what needs to be looked into, when planning future events.
    this thread is for feedback only. Thank you for understanding.
    We are looking forward to your feedback!
    So, some of us have stated our initial reaction as asked for and Yes, most all are on the NEGATIVE side. I really don't see where too many positive things are given at all, as you have taken note to. There was panic in some, distaste over the theme by some individuals, others are bugged and shocked simply for having a NEGATIVE balance counter. Even you, yourself Peeps didn't have anything nice to say about the event and how things have been being run as of late. Some people even actively taking a pass on events do to NEGATIVE drops, high crop needs. the frequency of new events and other reasons.
    These other reasons... appear to bother some people. There was a discussion about points of view. I do not see where people were "arguing and bickering". Protesting YES there was protesting and personal boycotting going on for many different reasons. Reasons from drops, crops, too many events to fast, to a dislike of the theme etc... I for one after reading of some distaste by other farmers/players proceeded to try and understand fully this persons ( Farmlily3, to be percise) point of view, because I respect and support her way of thinking. To do this I looked for things that could possibly be changed to make the event less offensive. Things I could pick up on just by looking. This was for my benefit but in the end BP asked for feedback and this is what they will see. Our initial reaction and possible changes that could have made the event more appealing. I get it, I respect it, and I know it's real. I support the thought and feeling on the subject but I personally am playing the event. Bad theme, low drops, high crops all be danged I'm going to try and show the Weasel for what he is and get some great rewards in return.
    It's late I'm tired hope I stated all this in a comprehensible manner.
    PS: FYI the weasel is outside of this game and in the real world known as a thief, I suppose that is why they use the weasel and come up with the idea for this event.
    Happy April's Fools Day good luck to all!!
    8)To those sitting this one out; have fun getting the farm in order. I hear Arthropod & Mammal breeding event is on the horizon. :p
    Terrible concept and terrible drop rate, unachievable numbers.
    I have harvested my all of my fields 4 times, and have received a grand total of 54 jewels. Which means in 3 days, I have amassed a total of 1 bag....
    Personally, I have no problem with high crop rate and low drop rate. It is how it is...
    But da.. shell game with so (mildly to say) "cheating" feature is the last sh..
    So far, I made 10 BagJewels and from them not in one single game shoot the shell with jewel, ergo I am still -1200 points.
    IMHO, this is outrageous.
    Eventually, I spend not one dime for baskets or any other offer (and advice other players to do exact the same) and when the BP money earnings goes down, perhaps they will listen to the players feedback and stop the nonsense.
    I endorse all that is said about drop rate and requirements to mill bags. I concentrated on drops, so I got drops but I am not even half the way through event crops. I find others concentrated on crops and are back in number of drops. Either drop rate should have been liberal or the crop & drop requirement should have been less. Why should you make us labour a lot for doing an event ? A recreation game's motive should be different.
    2 days into this event I only need to grow about 1400 more crops and I have 489 drops so I am pleased with how things are going :D:D It seems like I am the odd man out:wuerg::wuerg: My kids are grown but I do have 2 young grandchildren. If my grandkids were playing this game, I would explain to them that what the weasel is doing is bad behavior , not acceptable and in RL there would be consequences for that type of action. Move on, kids have/need to learn about these things so.......JMHO;):)
    @julie1013 well said! That is exactly what I do. Always looking for a teachable moment. My g-kid does play ~pug, grammer school age, but got board with all the events :oops: and stopped playing but always looking over my shoulder. Also; explained the reason you will hear liers and cheats being referred to as "that weasel" because, the animal is known for snagging our stuff. I guess they give the stuff they snatch to the squirrels to "squirle away" HAHAH Little horders ;)
    Meanwhile back at the Grove...
    I'm playing along with this April Fool's joke BP has given us...Just harvested all five fields for the grand total of 40 diamonds. Four fields with event crops and 'Two Ponds' had broccoli growing; that's a long growing crop -16 &1/2 hours before any buffs and
    my wolfs need food added plus for a change. The only buff I really have is water and CAC. No room to make new poo and I will not buy it. Not for an event but maybe I have for personal needs;) but never an event. Also, I really never water the Island or Rain Forest cost too much I'm a poor farm :D but a happy one going along doing my things :wuerg:xD spending my CCs and BBs on what I think are important things for my farm to thrive, and I don't think it requires me spending lots of hard earned BBs and CCs on SG, baskets and things for events. Plenty of water is needed to run my farm let along water events that need so much and mean time... -the animals are eating up all the food and no crops being grown to replace it. Event after event SMH, I know the events can get you some really nice and needed things but I just can not stress over getting them "done". Sure I miss out on things but it's ok and when I think it's important ( tree or animal) and it's only less than a handful I will buy single drops but that's it, all BP will get out of me there. ... ...sorry I rattle all the time.
    I don't know how many of those losing game I will be able to play with Mr. Gree D. but the joke is on him. What he doesn't know is every time he thinks he's beating me I am gathering evidences on his cheating shame game and getting a reward from the 'Polizei' every time. Nice things like :inlove:stickers :p and other great stuff like animals and givers...
    I have a total of 184 drops and in storage I have 3,711 crops I have four fields full of event crops with 'Two Ponds' growing raspberries this time around. Broccoli w/ water only give up 14 diamonds, let's see what my longest crop I have will give me :sleepy:
    -.-my advice to BP (yes it was asked for hahah) Events should more or less support their self as far as drops and crops are concerned. ... ...
    before I go I want to take an inch more of this space...
    I want to give thanks to all my neighbors and friends that send my lots of daily gifts... Event Drops, things from the Pantry :Dthe Toolboxes and what nots. Things that help make my farm a Happy Farm!! Ya'all 8)
