SOS Hostile Takeover Drop Items/Shiny Jewels

Hi all!

The Hostile Takeover Event starts TOMORROW and this thread is for those who need a helping hand from fellow farmers to finish or achieve personal goals during this event.

The (very rough) estimated daily/24 hour period requirement is:

170 Shiny Jewels

Always remember to save your gifts till after the event starts so you can start to send event items straight away!

If you need anything else for the event, ask for it here.

Please note:

My main farm (Illy1996) usually manages to get all drops. If I do need help, I will post here.

IF YOU RECEIVE GIFTS FROM CHEVREFEUILLE OR CHEVREFEUILE, PLEASE DO NOT SEND GIFTS BACK - THESE FARMS WILL NOT BE PARTICIPATING IN ANY EVENTS IN THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE.
So If you receive gifts from either of my farms, please do not send gifts to either of them.

If you want to return the favour, send to someone else asking for help.

I confess: I messed up, I forgot to plant melon on bahama last night, and forgot to harvest one field with oyster mushrooms. I seriously need help. I know you guys can't do much with my failing memory, but if anyone has extra diamonds I'd be very grateful. If you'd like one back, please please tell me.

 

I am in need of diamonds, by my calculations, I will need 77.8 hours to finish and we only have 66 at this time. I have 2 farms and this one only received 36 drops from all 5 fields harvesting event crop. 36 every 5 hours doesn't go very far when you need 40 for 1 bag of jewels.
Thank you to any one who helps, will update final results when event is over.

If any farmer can send a few extra jewels my way......would be much appreciated I am farming like crazy, following the strategies as best I can and I am not getting a fair drop rate at all. If drops are needed in return please send IGM.

at this moment I need 546 shiny jewels to finish this event. I average 35 every 5 hours (or harvest of event crops) and don't think I'll make it without a little help.

Think I'm going to be short on drops again. By my calculations, I'm getting enough drops for 4 bags per 24 hours (about 160 drops), which means I will be one bag short (40 drops) by the time it ends on Wednesday. Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you!

 

Please if anyone has extra drops I would appreciate help. If I make this will be by the hair on my chinney chin chin. I don't have neighbors because RL does not always let me play and I didn't like feeling guilty. Still need 313 drops. Thanks so very much.

 

Thanks to your generous push I now only lack 127 drops, which I think I can get from harvests until the event ends. I have said it before and I'll say it again - you guys are the best!!

I am needing a few extra drops if there is anyone out there who could spare a few. I messed up in the beginning and have been trying to play catch up. I will have the crops but have to sacrifice drops to get them. I can send something back in return if you just let me know. Thank you very much!!

Hi!! A big thank you to everyone that has helped me!! It was the boost I needed. I have one more harvest left before the end and it should get me enough to be able to finish the event. Please help others out and I am going to do the same.

Dear all, yet again I am asking for help. It's 34 hours until the end and I am still short 246 drops (which at this moment seems not achievable, silly me - I thought that this time around with 5 fields participating in the drops I'll be fine)

LAST UPDATE: Milling the last bag now!!! with 11 hours left so it wasn't that close.

Thank you all for all your help - here is the update - I'm still 72 drops short with one harvest of roses/protea left and not sure if this harvest will be bountiful enough.

 

Any more updates from farmers who have been struggling with drops?

I am hanging on to my gifts for today as some of you are finished and I would like to send to those still falling short.

finally I have made it.can't believe.The friends from the forum and all my generous neighbours helped me extensively with the drops.A big thank you to evryone who helped me.

 

Short about 70 but have 3 fields (2x 9 hour crop, 1x 10 hour crop) to harvest within in the next 2 hours (thanks BP for the 2 hour extension!!), any drops are much appreciated!

Big thank you to all who have been helping. Another update - harvested my last one of roses and protea (LL at 24%, Zuccini pie, easter jelly, sourdough cake, carrot bread), got about 8-10 drops per field. Still short of 8 drops. Oh well... I might just make that painful decision to buy them for BB before I leave for work in an hour...

Last update - Hooray!!! my last harvest of 3 fields of sorghum produced 3 gems ! and 2 baha fields of passion fruit gave 5 !!! Should I have been growing passion fruit all the time - it seems that 10 hour protea fares much worse? Very bizarre.
