    Howdy Farmers,

Please post your constructive comments, positive and negative, regarding the mini events going on in March 2017, in this Feedback thread.

Please be sure to bring arguments for supporting your statements, simple comments saying you like it or hate it will not help the Team understand what goes great, and what needs to be looked into, when planning future mini events.

The Candy Surprise Magic Stalk Row was actually from March but since that is closed I will put my comments here.

I am glad that 2nd EP Giver was available at a low level in the Hostile Takeover Event. This makes it possible for those who don't want to participate in an event to still get the EP needed for the Cloud Row without much effort.

UPDATE: As stated before I like that the EP's are given at low levels but I have to add that having 5 different events might be too much. Some players might want to sit an event out entirely and then they would not have all the EP's for the Cloud Row that they purchased. If you continue to do this in the future I think it should be noted in the initial offering for the Cloud Row the dates that the other givers would be available.

I really like the Candy Surprise too! I liked that it could be purchased with CC and also that the first two givers were prizes at the beginning of events. I hope this continues. This type of thing, along with removal of weeds are great steps in making the game more attractive to new players.

You have GOT to be kidding me. I just looked at the Recycl-o-mat requirements--I knew it was going to be a barn emptier, but you have made the Candy Cloud Row giver impossible to get, unless you have a mega barn, like the older farms, or a bunch of farm coins left over from previous events. It's only available to be purchased through the Shop-O-Rama, for 50 farm coins. If you have zero coins to start, to guarantee that you can get the giver, you need to donate at least 6 million barn value. That's nuts. A bunch of people who spent their hard-earned CC's on buying that cloud row are now not going to be able to fill it. That was very poorly thought out, BP.

I can only agree to your arguments.

And how shall it work with the battery drops required, while the actual event needs drops as well? Is BP now doubling up the drop rat, so that we get the "normal" drop rat of thermos flasks PLUS a normal drop rat of batteries??
Bad timing BP.. VERY BAD timing!
I wouldn't have a huge problem, if the recyclomat would be at the same time as a breeding event or any other kind of event, where neither drops nor special event plants would be required. But you can't do two events needing drops at the same time.

I think somebody was absolutely not taking these into account when scheduling the calender.
Or is it the new BP strategy to enhance RL money spending for baskets etc??

BP doesn't have to wonder, why more and more players are leaving.
Never annoy a customer (which the paying players are).

Yes, we don't have to play events, but what are you doing with the drops you get automatically?

Recyclomat should be rescheduled to not interfering with other drop related events!

My farm has no Farm Coins yet. I was really looking forward to getting some and to participate in the Recycl-o-Mat event. I agree that the timing for the Recycl-o-Mat event is off. I'm participating in the Firefly Festival event and therefore I'm growing lots of Glowberries. I will need all 5 days of the event to get the total requirement of 12,500 Glowberries and that means I will have no time to grow Star Fruit flowers which would help me in the Recycl-o-Mat event. I don't have anywhere close to the minimum worth of barn goods required to get the item for the Candy Cloud Row as this is a new and young farm. Therefore, I will need to be able to grow Star Fruit flowers in order to get that item. I have all the other items for Candy Cloud Row and the Firefly Festival will give me enough CCs to buy the cloud row.

Unfortunately, I'm not able to grow crops for two events at the same time and therefore I will have to choose between participating in the Firefly Festival event or the Recycl-o-Mat event. If I had no chance at all in either of the events or if the 4th of the Candy CR giver item wasn't part of the Recycl-o-Mat event, it would be easier to accept, but now it's just really frustrating. I would love to be able to participate in both events. I think BP ought to reschedule the Recycl-o-Mat event as more would be able to participate, the event is too important to miss because of the 4th giver item to the Candy Cloud Row, it would be more fair to new farmers and because there's no need to have that many events at the same time. I know that the Star Fruit flowers are not required, but without planting these I will not be able to take part in the Recycl-o-Mat event - so this farm will not get any Farm Coins or any Candy Cloud Row :cry::cry:

Having bought the Candy Cloud Row, it should be simple to get the next giver. It does not appear to be the case this time.

I have read the FAQ a few different times.
After comparing the info in the german and english FAQ I think, EACH try in the XL category needs 90 batteries and "only" 300,000 barn value and to get the jackpot prize, which is guaranteed to be won within 10 tries, THEN it would be a total of max 3,000,000 barn value.
Hmpf BP.. Not only bad timing but also VERY bad wording in the FAQs. They are more confusing than helpful!
Please think about the fact, that not only only english native speakers are on the english forum. LOST in Translation.
German forum definitely states the requirements per try for all categories and NOT only the possible worst case max requirements, which makes it absolutely clear for every plaer. But not everybody can read German!

Not happy on finding out that I've apparently wasted my time and CC on buying the Candy Cloud Row due to the requirements to get this next giver. I might have enough to do a B once. That is in no way enough to earn the 42 farm coins I need to purchase the item. Add to that that the event is now the eighth in a row that requires a crop to be grown - at the same time as the current one no less! - and I'm severely regretting my latest purchases.

I really really dislike the recyclomat event. If I'd know one giver on the candy row was dependent on it, I might have skipped the row. There is NO fun in that event for me. I will go for it, and might burn off enough stuff to get the CR as well. But really dislike it. And while I'm in the steaming mode, I'm not particular enjoying Renzo either. I'm fine with it being there tho, as BP isn't making " a must". As they seem to do now. Not a happy dog at all -.-
All barn burners should be stand-alone events. In fact I think I would prefer all events to be stand-alone events.
-.- - 10 out of 10 due to the fact you're forcing me to play the silly throw-into-a-black-hole scam-.-

clonahmon....thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for figuring out that those numbers were the worst case scenarios. It makes the event possible for me, and many others with young farms. But it still makes the event extremely difficult, running it concurrently with the firefly event. Like others, I have had to decide between the two, and I have completely abandoned the firefly event solely to raise crops to feed into the gaping maw of the recycl-o-mat. Terrible timing on these two events. I am very concerned about the drops for both.

    Feedback to this event:

    pro: not really

    cons:
1)very bad timing as the firefly event is still on, requiring drops.

    2) English FAQ more confusing than helpful esp the amounts mentioned to be donated or the "products" to be donated are not mentioning the baha products, but just the "mainland" products! In the German FAQs its quite clear, WHICH products can be donated.

    3) I know, we are "just" 3 hours in the game, but the drop rat (yes it is a rat, not a rate), is awful! This way I will never be able to get the 180 drops needed to get the giver, I need for the surprise cloud row.

    4) we can't keep the batteries until the next event. WHY NOT? Each time the event is up again, we have to start collecting the batteries again and again and again. I do not want to donate stuff in S, M or L because I don't have the 90 batteries for XL. I want to choose where to put them and when the drop rat is so horrible I am forced to put the batteries into the lower valued categories, just for the sake of not loosing them or getting them exchanged at the end for a joking value. The lowest possible prize in S category is just one (!) coin, but I have to donate 20K value. To get the 24 coins from XL category I have to put in 300,000. As a result I would have to put in a barn value of 480,000 to get guaranteed 24 coins in S category. YOU MUST BE JOKING! Yes, we could be lucky and get a few more coins in the lower categories, but that's not guaranteed.

    5) again an event, which is forcing people to spend real money to reach a goal.

    6) Value of event plants has been reduced from 40 to 20 see post Sven Baumwoellen Germany http://de.bigpoint.com/farmerama/board/index.php?threads/event-der-recycl-o-mat.58868/#post-2794202
    posted at 13:19
That doubles the amount of event plants necessary to donate, which makes it even harder for newer players with quite empty or low value barns, who are dependant on the event plants

edit: 7) having two drop events at the same time means, that we have to decide, WHAT we are sending as gifts to our neighbors, as the number of gifts sendable/receivable is not doubling up.

With this kind of gaming strategy, you are destroying everything which makes the game.. the FUN.
And people will walk away from it. You are the one who is loosing out on it at the end of the day. I will definitely NOT recommend anybody to play the game if I am asked.

Am disgusted that we wasn't made aware that to get the things to complete the candy row ...would be in the form of draining our barns for it...we paid for the row in hard earn't CC's

Well you can refund the CC back to me please that I paid for it and take it back ...I don't want it anymore... My Barn means more to me then this cloud row

And the fact of making this game stressful by running two events side by side for a row that gives a measly total of.... 9700 EP 6280 TEP Is a joke

I can make more then that daily from the 90 odd cloud rows i click on every day and givers in the park and ship wreck bay ...it isn't a WOW factor i must have or want

If you are doing Events as stressful as these in the future.... YOU are going to lose your players in a mass walkout

I have said many time WITHOUT PLAYERS there is NO game

You are taking the FUN out of playing it and shooting yourself in the foot

AND This certainly isn't helping new players to the game.... by clearing their barns

The players are making this game FUN ...NOT Farmerama

Farmerama has lost the FUN aspect to the game it used to have.... by senseless events such as this:(

AND the likely hood of my finishing firefly is pretty much zero ...a good percentage of my drops has been taken over by Nublon batteries :(
AND the lag to this game is pretty bad and not helpful in events when you have to harvest as soon as they are ready
And I certainly wouldn't recommend this game to anyone the way it is at the moment... It's sad because it once was a great game

Lately every weekend brings more reasons to be upset with this game. During events I get all the givers but not the cloud row because drops are too low. Now I've purchase the cloud row and won't get the fourth giver because the requirements are too steep. I emptied my barn last weekend to upgrade a trophy hoping to improve drops. So now stuck looking at a cloud row I spent real money on that won't be filled. I seriously question my sanity sometimes for playing a game that isn't fun anymore. But I guarantee I won't spend another dime of my own money on the game. No more subscriptions, no more power feed or super grow. Maybe in the grand scheme of things this doesn't matter, but more players are expressing their frustration with how the events are structured (plus all the mistakes and bugs lately). It doesn't seem that anyone takes our feedback into consideration at all. I'm not saying make everything easy, just achievable.

BP bad idea to require players to buy or play in a next event to finish a cloud row. But you know that. And 2 events at one time is an absolute no-no. Remember, this is a game. We should want to play it, but you are making this easier to step away from. You are taking the fun out of the game. And one day soon, for some, it just won't be a matter of not playing an event, but not play the game.

As related by sanddollar in Recyclomat Strategy Thread. Fruit-0-Mat surprise' for the 'Candy Surprise Magic Stalk Row'?

if you have 50 Farm Coins you can go to the Red Basket and then to the farmers shop-o-rama and under the "Special Tab" and buy it.

    Recyclomat
Pros - some good things to be won
Cons - I hate the new format. I liked being surprised by what I got instead of earning coins. Why are batteries exchanged? A silly idea, let us keep them to give us a better shot next time. The timing is daft - my magic trees should be giving batteries aswell or it should be rescheduled. The drop rate is too low for such a short time event.
In all it just doesn't work anymore.

    Recyclomat.
My suggestion is that this should be at least two days longer so we can use our unused crops from the Firefly event, due to the low drop rate of Thermos Flasks, to throw into the Recyclomat.
Having to choose between two drop items to gift is not a good idea. It would have been a nice gesture to let us gift one of each to our friends and neighbours.
