The FAQs are out nice and early. Plenty of time to prepare - except we can't get access to the Moonlight Madness field till the event starts lol! :p

Here are the figures - check my maths but it looks pretty straight forward:

    3,625 Horror Vines (6 harvests of 202 1x1 plots, 20 harvests of 44 2x2 plots)
325 Moony Maggots (65 or 82 per day* - now that sounds okay, doesn't it?)

    * Depending on whether you count the event as being four or five days.

I will just pop off to do an SOS thread but I'm really hoping nobody will need it. :)

SOS Moony Mayhem Event Drops/Moony Maggots

Good luck everybody - and - BOO! xD

Sounds very good! Hopefully, there won't be such a disaster as with the last MM event drops :p. I love the fact that the very first task gives super-grow as reward, it is always much more helpful at the beginning of the event than later (when you've finished your event crops and start on MM crops)

    Good luck everyone!

Illy your numbers are correct if you want to finish the whole event. But i am going for the new tree and the pit only (step 1,2,3,4 only silver and silver ,gold and diamond for step 5)so in this case i will need :1375Horror Vines and 125 Moony Maggot.
I think that event is duable;)

Thanks for Starting This Threat for Moony Mayhem Mini Moonlight Mania Event. Illy1996. But,

It is a 4 Days Mini Event Therefore we need on average 82 Moony Maggots over 4 Days. So it does not sound ok for most of us.

We need to produce 3825 Horror Vines in 4 Days too. These spooky crops will not be staying in this Game, when this Event ends !!

As Horror Vines are 4 Hour Crop. Take into Account of using. Terror Bouquet, Hoedown 2014 Cloud Row, Moonlight Mania Cloud Row, Water, Manure and Super Grow as these all helps to be able to Generate 3825 Horror Vines within two days.

It does mean we need to nuke Horror Vines couple of times at the Start of this Event to be able to have a good start stocking up Horror Vines. If it all goes well just gives us about 2 days to be able to work on the New Swamp Thing Quest.

As we have a New Spooky Tree called Nightgloom Tree and New Spooky Pen called Slime Monster Pit. To be honest it quick to build these Via Jack's Shop ;)

You are quite correct, Mooboy, the event is over 5 days but with the drops I always calculate the number of days of the event as most of us start with a base of what we have planted at the time. MM is a little different as I, and probably many others, can't remember what I planted last time! :inlove:

But, on the premise that nobody left their MM field empty (except for new farmers - sorry young farmers), we can expect some drops, can't we? :p

The event doesn't look too bad. As mentioned before, we can skip parts of the quest and rush straight to the new Tree and Stable. I confirm kubus numbers for the requirements of doing Silver 1-5, and then Gold 5, and Diamond 5 are:
    1375 Horror Vines
    125 Moony Maggot

I can also confirm illy's numbers to complete the entire event as:
    3625 Horror Vines
    325 Moony Maggots
I'll be trying to complete the entire event, as I hope many of you will also be doing. There's a lot of prizes worth picking up, especially for newer farms.

Strategy for this event is similar to all other growing events. Use the Nuke start*, then moving to 1x1 fields + CAC after the minimum threshold to cover the entire field has been reached.
Here's how many harvests it will take using the entire field *Fixed*:

Thank you for the maths Illy
    ewww maggots :wuerg:
I can't remember if i left any crops in MM in the last event :cry:xD but have some trees and a few tentacle willows
Crop isn't so bad it only takes 4 hours

Don't think I have the chestnut cloud row

    I usually use 1x1

Magic tree will give 1 x Moony Maggot per harvest during this event:) at least i will have 3

:sleepy:We don't seem to be earning Farm coins in any of these events

Decree, I think your last numbers might be a little off, it doesn't look like you're taking into account that part of each harvest is going to be needed to reseed the field.

I think I got it fixed this time, thanks.

My own personal strategy for the event will be slightly different than past events due to this being the MM field. The major difference is that I do not plan on using Fruit Cake for my nuke start. Simply put, I don't want to use a 24 hour buff which will only save an additional 3 minutes off the time to grow, then switch to Terror Bouquet after the two rounds of nukes which will be completed within 2 hours. Instead, I am opting to use Terror Bouquet from the start. Here's how that comparison looks.
    Base TimeTerror BouquetWhite InnocenceWaterManure
    240 Minutes216 Minutes64.8 Minutes51.84 Minutes46.656 Minutes
    Base TimeWhite InnocenceFruit CakeWaterManure
    240 Minutes60 Minutes60 Minutes48 Minutes43.2 Minutes
I do not have the Chestnut CR either, as I started playing after that event. I have completed the MM Magic Stalk Row 2 (Jack's Back FSQ) which I plan to use. Since I try to provide numbers for newer farms, the above table excludes the previously mentioned CR's. Though I highly encourage everyone who has extra time to spare in this event to get the Jack's Back CR.

I should be able to nuke the event crop twice before starting my day. From there it's long crop during the day. Two event crop harvests during the evening before bed, then another long crop during the day. Repeat until finished.

Here's the event crop numbers during normal growing with and without the Jack's Back CR:
    Base TimeTerror BouquetJack's Back CRWaterManure
    240192 Minutes192 Minutes153.6 Minutes138.24 Minutes
    Base TimeTerror BouquetNo Cloud RowWaterManure
    240216 Minutes216 Minutes172.8 Minutes155.52 Minutes
I feel comfortable adding Manure to this event because I believe we can make it ourselves fast enough if needed, meaning there's no additional event tax for wanting to use it.

I'll also be using a combination of CAC, ZAB, CV, and CB to go increase my yield and EP.

    Useful Spooky Info:

    1) The New Slime Monster Pit, requires a New Spooky Mill Feed
    • 3 x Duckshadow Bloom
    • 3 x Spotted Horrors
    • 3 x Nightgleam Orbs
    • 10 Minutes Milling Time
    2) Nightgleam Orbs Requires Nightgleam Tree. The Best way to obtain a Nightgleam Tree is to do These Steps of Moony Mayhem Mini Quest
    • Level 1 (Silver)
    • 75 Horror Vines
    • 15 Moony Maggots
    • Level 2 (Silver)
    • 100 Horror Vines
    • 15 Moony Maggots
    • Level 3 (Silver)
    • 125 Horror Vines
    • 15 Moony Maggots
    • Level 4 (Silver)
    • 150 Horror Vines
    • 15 Moony Maggots
    • Level 5 (Silver)
    • 175 Horror Vines
    • 15 Moony Maggots
    • 250 Horror Vines
    • 20 Moony Maggots
Requirement for Nightgleam Tree (95 Moony Maggots, 875 Horror Vines)

    3) You only need to do one more step of Moony Mayhem to obtain an Slime Monster Pit
    • Level 5 (Diamond)
    • 500 Horror Vines
    • 30 Moony Maggots
Total Requirement for Nightgleam Tree + Siime Monster Pit....
    • 1375 Horror Vines
    • 125 Moony Maggots
    4) Before you can start using Slime Monster Pit, you need to produce Nightgleam Orbs which is needed from Nightgleam Spooky Tree. I would do these two things on every Nightgleam Tree
    • Suzy Super Grow gives + Nightgleam Orbs per Tree
    • Super Mulch Reduces Nightgleam Tree from 6 Hours to 4 Hours 12 Mins
    5) We have now a Total of Three Spooky Trees
    • Willow Tentacle Tree
    • Dark Green Apple Tree
    • Nightgleam Tree
During Moonlight Mania Event. I would use Super Mulch on all of these trees, which helps reap these spooky fruits quicker. I would also advise to use Suzy Super Grow on these Spooky Trees.

Why, For Two Reasons....Firstly there is a New Quest Called Swamp Thing that needs
    • 700 Willow Tentacles
    • 440 Nightgleam Orbs
Secondly to need these to Make a Nightgleam Tree from Jack's Shop
    • 100 Willow Tentacales
    • 100 Dark Queen Apples
    6) We Need to get 325 Moony Maggots during Moony Mayhem Mini Event. As we Water, Manure, Super Grow, Terror Bouquet and Moonlight Mania Cloud Row, All of these are effective to help reap spooky crops sooner.

The Best Longest Spooky Crop for this Mini Event is Duckshadow Bloom it an 8 Hour Crop. We needs DuckShadow Blooms for New Slime Monster Pit Feed, Slime Monster Pit Build from Jack's Shop

    7) Once we have Grown 3625 Horror Vines needed for this event. I would suggest to grow Spotted Horrors during the daytime. As we need Spotted Horrors for ;
    • Slime Monster Feed
    • Build Nightgleam Tree from Jack's Shop
    • 1750 Spotted Horrors for Swamp Thing Quest
    • Spotted Horrors takes 5 Hours to Grow
    8) We always have a limited duration to grow Spooky Crops in Moonlight Mania Playing Field. Plus we only have 202 x 1 x 1 Field Space Allocation. I always conserve most of my Stock of Suzy Super Grow for Stocking up Spooky Crops as it is a Huge Help. As we always get +2 Spooky Crops for every SSG used in Moonlight Mania Playing Field

I most used SSG on Spooky Crops that takes 4 hours or more to grow. As SSG is very handy to speed up Stock of Spooky Crops. They also increase your Spooky Crops EP by 50% too that Bodes well on two Silver Buffs of Crypt Vase (CV) and Carrot Bread (CB)

I have a Halloween 2014 Cloud Row that Boost Spooky Crops EP by 20% for 12 Hours. Cooldown time is 24 Hours. Effective for 12 Hours

    9) Nuking New or Older Spooky Crops. As always we have to nuke new Spooky Crops First to help build up stock of New Spooky Crops. But Nuking Requires the use of Super Grow, which reduces crops times by 50% but if you have Growth Boost Rune unlocked SG is 60% Effective. Combination of White Innocents (10%) and Terror Bouquet(10%), Helps Tremendously too.

I do not bother using Fruit Cake to speed up nuking spooky crops as it need a gold slot but Terror Bouquet also need a Gold Slot too. Terror Bouquet are More Valuable during MM. Cost more to buy in the Markets than FC. They need three Spooky crops to Craft if you craft TB too. It Makes sense to converse spooky crops. Also it helps to use Pinkie Pie Pie on Terror Bouquets too as we get 30% More value out of our TB's

I always ensure Terror Bouquet is always active in Gold Slot during MM Event. What is interesting white innocents are much cheaper to buy in the markets than fruit cakes but gives Super Grow twice as effective compared to fruit Cakes. These are my reasons i not bother with Fruit Cakes during MM...;)

    10) Moonlight Cloud Row reduces spooky crop times 10%. But it can only be used for 24 Hours. Cool down is 48 hours. So every 2nd Day spooky crops takes 10% longer to grow while this Cloud Row is inactive. So make the most of it while it is active. Now i am going to say how to make best use of manure. As we know manure prices will go up during MM plus stocks of manure will go down too. So make use of manure as often you can during this effective 24 hour window.

Nuking Spooky Crops always makes best use of Super Grow, Water and Manure. It also helps you reap Moony Maggots sooner too. Plus build up stock of Spooky Crops sooner too. As i mostly conserve Super Grow for spooky crops too. But most of the time i use combo of SSG and SG using 2 x 1 field. This will work great on Spotted Horrors and DuckShadow Blooms spooky crops...;)

We are able to produce Manure Farming Animal Pens the other 5 Fields. So have a Manure Storage Pile of 550 Manure is big help Nuking Spooky Crops. Or Stock up Manure in the Markets before prices starts to climb too...:p

In the Long Term during MM we have a new focus to start stocking up on Spooky Fruits.

    11) It is Confirmed that Moony Mayham Mini Event Runs from 6th to 10 April, it is 4 Day Mini Event. So Therefore the Daily Drop Rate Average of Moony Maggots is 82 per Day

    12) Any Farmer who needs to Grow Darklight Firefly. There is a New Craft called Silver Flame Incense it is Alchemist Level 4 Craft. It gives you +1 Darklight Firefly on Every Darklight Firefly...:D Very Helpful for those working on Swamp Thing Quest..

Illy1996, if you not mind to amend your first post about Daily Drop requirement of Moony Maggots as it is 4 Day Event not 5 Days Cheers to avoid misleading our fellow farmers ;)

Decree. Thanks for great info of times of Horror Vines and Reward Prize list of this event. I am sure we make a great team to provide lovely info to our fellow farmers :);)But after 1st Round of Nuking Horror vines we can get 90 Horror Vines. As Farmers have a choice of doing another round of 2 x 2 Nuking using SG and SSG but only need 44 Horror Vines out of 90 in our barn. The Better Alternative on 2nd round of Nuking Horror Vines is using 90 x 2 x 1 Field. Which will reap a gain of 630 Horror Vine.
Using this Method can accumulate 3625 Horror Vines in only 7 Rounds instead of 8
    :)

Okay, Mooboy, I have changed the first post and SOS thread - it is wiser to be safe than sorry. On reflection, as we can only get drops from one field, the amount required is quite high. I am hoping that the rate is higher than the last MM event.

I cannot start the event till tomorrow so I really do hope that I planted something that will give me tons of Moony Maggots! :wuerg:
