Start: Seems like this will be a nice easy event to get the new tree and slime pit and still be able to work on MM quests. I am using my CAC though.

Middle: Drops seem to be running a little slow but still time -- maybe after we switch to other than event crops.

End: Finished but it wasn't that easy. I had all of the Event Crops but was waiting on the drops to finish it.

Farm 1: Level 96: Finished with 13:23 hours left.
Farm 2: Level 96: Finished with 00:13 hours left -- that was close.
Farm 3: Level 95: Finished with 02:47 hours left.

I have to wonder how/if lower level players are able to finish these events. I used 1x1's and CAC and put in a lot of hours to finish.

I have an issue with a point raised in technical issues by babasfarm about The terror bouquet not working on the event crop. I have used a terror bouquet, expecting it to lessen the time by 20% on all mm crops including this event crop. There is nothing in the Event FAQ s to warn us of this fact. This is not satisfactory for me to find out after I have used a Terror Bouquet, to then find out they are worthless on the Event Crop.
    Fiddlesticks !!!:(>:(-.-

Agreed with davidb1yth007 this should have been pointed out in the FAQ's.
I too have wasted a terror bouquet for no reason.

Terro Bouquets are $$$expensive$$$!! I can't make them so I have to purchase them.
FAQ should state ALL neccessary information...including what a player can or cannot use!!
Like many others, I wasted a valuable Terror Bouquet:(

I wasted one too, and the use of the CR... BP should compensate us -.-

That would be a bit extreme, but a little reminder that MM event crops might not be effected by buffs would have been nice. Not a big negative in my book tho.

Never a MM fan, but that's just a very personal preference. That excluded, I like this event. It's a bit pick and chose your rewards. Drops are as usual a bit hard to come by, but probably doable for those with time and good time management. What I really enjoy is the fact I can get the big prize, new pen/tree, without having to do the entire event. Also enjoy having quest-events. No need to figure anything out. The crop requirement is low enough so that I can grow what I need for other purposes as well, that was really great. I think the label Medium is fitting for this event.

I think it is a given that most of us lost a terror bouquet:cry:it would have been nice to know it has NO EFFECT on EVENT crops, but moving on, I also think this event is doable. I like to be able to pick how far I go, but to also be able to get the slime monster pit, which I must say I just :inlove:, and the
night gleam tree too! I am a BIG fan of the MM Field and anything we get to do there!

  10. I used CAC and it's working on MM fields, so I'm perplexed as to why the Terror Bouquet wouldn't work - if one does, why not all? As for this event, it's a relatively easy one, and I like the new crops, tree and pen, so it's a plus for me, which the last two haven't been.

Slime Monster... just got my first creepy little creature :D and, oh my; it talks :wuerg::p Little thing is a bit creepy lol but it sooo cute chasing around, catching and eating bubbles. Adorable ;) Nice looking tree too.
I'm loving this event. I really like the quest type event. Being able to get to the prize and then if the drops are right getting all the little extras that you want or have time for is just wonderful. Awesome, being able to complete what and as much of the event as you choose to do :Din a somewhat order of your liking and wants/needs. The crop demand is not over demanding and the drops are doing better then the last few event. Love the event crop totally cute should have been used at Valentine's time.
I have nothing negative to say about this event.:inlove:....BUT:(
    yeap, there it is... BUT
on one/three of my other farms, I lost something like 4-5 TBs. Come home from work seen the event had started and proceeded to set my end of the event up. Checked the FAQs for details -how much crops&drops are needed and how long the event last and any other important things. Then off to the barn I go to gather items to start. Usually, I try, if I have it, to put out enough buffs to last me the event. I fell short where the TB are concerned so I started what I had and found out they do not work on event crops:mad:>:(:wuerg::cry::(o_O

I have my new orb tree and little slimie xDso I guess alls well that ends well but :cry:TBs ARE very expensive :cry:ok my buts over...
    :inlove::inlove::inlove:I loved this event:D:music::)xD:inlove:

I'm reading the comments with less than 24 hours to go and I'm not liking this, it seemed like something was off but I assumed it's just because it's a medium crop of course I didn't catch this in time about the terror bouquet. What did I use? something like 5 of them.
Baaad BP. Not very nice to void the results of the buff. and that small little omission/lapse in judgement is not PR at all; it's that shell game they had last week. I want my terror bouquets replaced please. and sooner than later.
This is the first time I've ever heard of removing the effect of a buff for an event, when they did that they might as well have taken off the CAC and the Apple Zucchini Bread at the same time, and not bothered to tell anyone, initially I came here to voice an opinion about having to buy a basket to finish, otherwise I'd be looking for the last 150 maggots somewhere in the final 24 hours..not cool for such small returns.

At Start of this Event. It was not clear that Horror Vines will not benefit the Terror Bouquet Buff. As we had new spooky crops introduce in the past as it never had this Issue with TB.

Farmerama Should have added this Info, into FAQ stating this !!!

I have completed the Moony Maggot event this morning. The Drop rate is much improved for this event. As I have created couple Nightgleam Trees and some Slime Monster Pits.

But 100 Willow Tentacles and 100 Dark Green Apples it quiet high to Produce Nightgleam Trees.

The Slime Monster Pits are easier to produce from Jack's Shop as we have Silver Flame Incense Buff that double the amount of Darklight Fireflies we can produce to make Slime Monster Pits...

It would help to reward us with TB during Events as TB cost more than CAC in my Market.

Nowhere near on drops again. TB usage was unnecessary as there was plenty of time to grow the required items. Glad that bad drop rate could be sidestepped in order to get the tree and slime pit.

I liked this event, too. As a newer farm, I had almost nothing - no Dark Queen's Apple Trees, and only two Tentacle Willows. So I was thinking that I needed all the help I could get - and loaded up my Terror Bouquets - 5 of them!!

But it didn't really matter much because I had to grow everything else, and the Mods said it was only the Event crop that didn't get the benefit.
Anyway, I finished early this morning because the crop requirements were reasonable - just right! - and have been getting more nightgleam trees - Looove those trees!! - and 4 DKQ's apple trees, and two more Tentacle Willows! And if there is time, maybe another Slime Pit.....

What do you think about the Slime Pit?? Should I try for more than one???

This was the best MM since I've had this farm, because it f-i-n-a-l-l-y lasted long enough to grow things!! Lol!!:D

Only thing wrong with this event was the tight fisted amount of drops we have been getting and the terror bouquet not working after we have worked our butts off making and buying these and NOT WORKING in the way that these are suppose to

Marks out of 10 for this event ...ONE
But was nice being in the MM field just to catch up on crops

I liked the event except for the number of drops.:(
I am a level 99 farmer use CAC and still struggled to get drops. :(
Come on BP get your sums right, because you haven't got them right at the moment. :(
The game is supposed to be fun but for many farmers I'm sure it's anything but.:(

I quite liked this event but I don't think much thought has gone into the crop/drop ratio. We could only get drops on the MM field and the longest crop is 8 hours so we are on an uphill struggle to get enough drops. I worked quite a few days but this was not much of a problem regarding the event crops (which gave very poor drops by the way). But at the risk of repeating myself and what everybody else has said, not enough drops! :(

I don't mind a high drop number if we can get them from all fields but just one field is asking too much. So if only one field gives drops, reduce the number required. :)
The prizes were okay and the new pens and trees are pretty - oh and a little scary (not really though)!o_O

Illy and Cassie have stated my opinion very well - poor drop ratios and a high donation requirement with one field. The situation with drops is taking much of the pleasure out of the game.
